[ Several things register with Gansey while his friend talks. Adam has a phone now; when did that happen? Not only that, but his phone had coordinates of the gravesite, which meant both that this had been some intelligent person’s idea of a game, and that they had deliberately sent those details to Adam, one of Gansey’s closest friends.
Thirdly, Adam knew what it was about, enough to be carrying water and a shovel with him, and lastly -
God, lastly. Adam expects Gansey to already know what this is all about, because he’s supposed to remember it. Remember it.
