For most of the same reasons he wasn't asking what had gotten Seel in such a bad mood over nothing. Swift certainly hadn't asked to be incapacitated, and yet Seel was behaving like he'd personally kicked his puppy.
He tried standing again and managed a little better this time (or at least it seemed like the floor wasn't going to roll out from under him) but he wasn't too certain he could manage a step unaided any longer now that he'd had time to sit and stew in it. He didn't like it any better now.
