Just because they were fighting at the moment (for a really, really stupid reason) didn't mean Seel wanted Swift to fall on the floor and hurt himself. Then he really would have been mad. And probably upset with himself. So, as Swift steadied himself against his Consort, Seel reached out to steady him with his other hand.
