The "Never Have I Ever" Meme

Never Have I Ever, for those of you haven't heard of it, is a classic drinking game. Individuals take turns stating something they've never done, and everyone who has done it takes a drink. And then embarrassment and teasing and general fun is had by all.

HOW THIS WORKS

✔ Post with your character. This is your thread for as many 'Never have I ever' statements you'd like to make!
✔ Under your own thread, reply to yourself ICly with a statement of something your character has never done.
✔ Post as many 'nevers' as you like, but each 'never' should be it's own comment string, under your character's thread.
✔ Other characters reply to whichever 'nevers' they like, drinking or not drinking as appropriate.
✔ Optional rule: If you drink, you have to explain the situation in which the 'never' occurred!
✔ Another optional rule: Forced honestly is okay, if you have a character that wouldn't talk/share anything.
✔ Threadjacking is encouraged! Particularly if it's to make fun of someone for their answer/drinking.
✔ HAVE FUN PEOPLE

Time is not the problem. I have been betrothed twice, married once and both of my husbands - to be or otherwise - turned out to be monsters.

Of course not, but marriage is another matter entirely. I do not want to be that vulnerable again.

Were you not allowed to choose your betrothed?

No. My father arranged the first betrothal and -

Someone I thought I could trust arranged the marriage.

The first was for...politics and peace. The second was so I could secure my ancestral home and my family's allies.

Ah. I cannot say that doesn't happen where I'm from, but I was fortunate enough to avoid such arrangements.

[No one wants to marry an accursed individual, anyway.]

It still isn't too late, given this place and the people who come through it.

I pray you continue to avoid it. (She also prays no one like Joffrey or Ramsay exist in his world.)

To fall in love here would only lead to heartache later. We will inevitably be parted.

[He frowns widely, his head sinking between his shoulders.]

I... am aware.

(She pales, realizing her error belatedly.)

...forgive me. I think you are...very brave...for taking the chance.

I am less brave, and more... fortunate to have someone so truly wonderful in my life. I don't know what I would do without him, nor what he will do without me.

[And that has been something that's been on Carlisle's mind a lot lately, especially as he considers more and more how little time his curse allows him. Will he even live long enough to escape Hadriel? And if he does, what then?

He doesn't know, but he trusts he and Glacius will find out, somehow. He has to believe that, lest he lose all hope in the future.]

But... despite that, I would not take it back. I have wondered if it would have been kinder to never damn him to such heartache, but he insists otherwise, and I refuse to strip him of that agency. I hope that one day, I will have the same breadth of understanding as him.

(Fairy-tales do not exist. Whether they are in Hadriel or elsewhere, love cannot last forever. Death will come between them even if they are not separated by other means. Yet that doesn't mean the time they spend together means nothing. If anything, that makes it more special.

Sansa is afraid to open herself to anyone. There are those she is attracted to, but each time she lets her mind follow that path, images of Joffrey and Ramsay's brutality surface. Then she, subconsciously, traces some of the scars they left behind.

She wears long dresses because she is a lady, but she also wears them to hide her scars.)

Do not think of when you will be parted. Think only of today and cherish each moment. There is no reason to speak of regret when you are...in love.

(Her voice hitches on that last bit.)

[Though he hears that hitch, Carlisle cannot help but smile at Sansa's sentiment. For someone who has suffered so greatly, particularly with arranged marriages and matters of the heart, her encouragement is enlightening... and welcome.]
