[ Okay, so. A giant blob that eats things. He can handle this, he can totally handle this. It's like something out of one of his comic books. Ordinarily, he'd be asking around and trying to find his family because this whole thing is strange. But a freakishly big and oddly shaped monster is coming towards him so he doesn't exactly have time to think.
His family has taught him how to fight, he can defend himself, he fully believes that. Henry at least has the advantage of speed for the moment. He has no idea how to actually defeat a blob but he'll come up with a plan in a moment, when there's enough distance between him and that thing. He jogs down the street, turning a corner and catching his breath. ]
I really don't wanna be that thing's snack.

[ Some might say it's heroic to even think about taking these creatures on, trying to save them and everyone else who might be hurt by them. Other people might say it's just plain dumb, especially for a teenager. Maybe it's a mix of both. Henry will admit - privately, to himself - he hasn't always had the best ideas, maybe, but things have usually worked out one way or another. Sometimes the going gets a little rough, but...it always works out.
Having a good sense of how this place works by now, he figures if he gets killed trying to save these things, it's not...too bad. At least he'll come back. But he has to try. He's not really afraid of much - he's seen too much to be afraid easily these days - and that's sometimes a recipe for disaster. ]
They deserve a chance. I have to try, I have to save them if I can.
