He's the oldest and generally the strongest, but he's kind of a stick in the mud, and time and again makes it abundantly clear that you are not his first priority. He also knows the most about the Door and how to send you home.

About Them: The second half of the Texmex Twins, Lup is Taako's identical twin sister. She's a high elf wizard with a love of cooking, high drama, and blowing shit up. She's gregarious and very social, but can come off pretty rude in her effort to be brutally honest. Due to their shitty upbringing, Lup has some Trust Issues™ and takes time to really warm up to people. Because she comes from a podcast medium, icons will never be perfectly matching, but the twins are described as being 'ethereally, femininely beautiful' and still look to be in their mid-twenties despite having lived through two centuries. Lup's tall (5'11") with a very slight, slender frame, and newly cropped, light-colored hair. She has darker skin that's covered in freckles. As an elf, she's got those trademark pointed ears. Notable CR: Her cast (of course), but she's especially close to Taako and Barry. Other important CR is: Kyna, Drake, Alphys, Atem, Nate, Elena, Kate, and Gren. (IF IM MISSING ANYONE IM SORRY, I wrote this up real fast).

Current Plans: Lup is going full Lich Mode this coming event. More info over here! Basically, she's losing her body and then will lose her stability as a lich, meaning she'll be going full murder mode on anyone who gets close to her. Always looking for folks to try and talk her down or to get some good fight on!

About Them: Caedra's appearance post is here but in short, she's barely over 5 feet tall with solid black eyes and a vaguely Central Asian accent.
More importantly, she is a demon. She is impulsive, cruel, and bloodthirsty. She comes across often enough as cheerful and friendly but she's always looking for what will benefit her most in any situation, and anything that looks like friendship is probably full of ulterior motives. She has already killed several people here and even though the results were disappointing it won't stop her from doing it again.
Notable CR: She thinks Semiyon is charming, treats Ivar (and occasionally Hayden) like something between a son and a pet, finds Law very attractive, and is fascinated by but cautious with Rey and Nick. She has killed Charles, Rita, and Margaery for no particular reason other than she just can't help herself sometimes (killing is so much fun!) and is either indifferent toward or intensely dislikes most everyone else.
Current Plans: Trying not to do a whole lot because of my upcoming hiatus but my fear event post is here, and in the meantime Caedra is looking to start some sort of fight club thing for her amusement in the Colosseum. After the move she's probably going to try and wander off and explore a bit, though if we get islands she'll be fairly limited in doing that - she might have to look for someone who can hook her up with a boat!
CR you're looking for: I want everything (which is unhelpful, I know) but I will note that Caedra is far more likely to generate negative CR than any other type so be aware of that - some people want it, some people don't. Also if you ever want your character dead for some reason, let me know. She doesn't need a reason, she's established that pretty well, and it's been a while since she drew some blood so she's probably getting antsy.

About Them: A little bit of a failboat now that he's not the big bad, Fear is generally a pretty mellow guy. He's always been interested in your kind and enjoys asking questions about you, even if he sometimes uses the answer to terrify you. He's tasked with moving the city during a relocation, and in order to do that he needs energy which means scary events. Sorry about that.
Current Plans: He's the reason you're losing all your limbs and senses, so that kinda sucks.

About Them: An intelligent, practical person who sometimes takes himself too seriously and sometimes has trouble reading the humour of other people. Ignis is young but a well-trained fighter, as well as a proficient chef. He is highly intelligent and knows it, has a dry/sarcastic sense of humour and a tendency to gloat when he's proven right, but is an all-around decent guy and someone who is good to have as a friend, especially if you happen to need someone to cook for you.

These days, knowing things that will happen in the future that he certainly shouldn't know, he has a lot on his mind. His natural reaction to this is to throw himself into work/anything to keep his mind off things. His ability to compartmentalise is being sorely challenged these days, so if you want to wind him up just to see his temper snap, now's a good time...
Notable CR: Most notably his canonmates Noctis and Lunafreya, his girlfriend Kate and other friends Akira, Cecily and Maglor. Any members of the Guard may be well aware of his cooking, given that he tends to bring food in for them all quite regularly.
Current Plans: Ignis isn't going to be affected by the impending event in terms of losing anything, but he'll have plenty to do with the two people who are the most important to him both losing their sight and reacting to it in different ways.

As a development from the previous CR meme he's now very much admitted to his girlfriend that he loves her, and she's (finally) admitted the same thing back, so that's out there. He's also lost a chunk of CR since the last meme and thus is being troubled again by the idea that nothing in Hadriel can ever be trusted to be permanent. But still! He's hanging in there, doing the things he's taken responsibility for...

About Them: Still the sweetest thing since Dip Dabs were created, Serah is the one to thank for the building you can use to learn any new skills in*. Back home, she was travelling through time on a quest to save her sister, the future, and her fiancé. In Hadriel, she's mostly attempting to learn what she can about the history of the place and help people out where necessary. Friendly, always wanting to see the best in others, with a buttload of low-key sadness, she's the kind of person you want in your corner.

*Not combat skills. The Management reserves the right to kick out anyone found sparring in the building and accepts no liability for injuries or damaged goods.

Notable CR: Roommates with Rita DuClark for reasons that should be beyond anyone in the city (as they are myself and Alexis), but also getting acquainted with the other Final Fantasies (Noctis, Ignis, and Luna), has called Komaeda her friend, thinks Alphys is adorable, enjoys Curufin's company, likes Cecily, Julie and Laura too... Honestly, she likes everyone she's met so far. ;; And she wants to get to know everyone better.

Current Plans: Serah is getting away without being affected during this event, but I am going to tag her around open starters to help people out and so on. But if you specifically want her assistance during it, please let me know! Other than that, she's beginning to talk to the gods to try and learn more about the city, and praying they don't figure out that she helped with Name's rescue.

About Them: Currently and very sadly devoid of her trademark bright pink hair (thanks for the betrayal, Delight!), Kate sports months of root regrowth and bleach blonde lengths. She has been in Hadriel for two years now (well, excepting those two months she went home) and spends most of her time running around to keep the clinic stocked and organised. She also does a fair amount of liasing with the other organisations in the city to keep things running. Outside of that, she's often found practicing her fighting skills, archery, or simply running rooftops. Is... brief in her speech and kind of a lineface but a good drinking partner if you're ever in need of a hangover.

Notable CR: First things first, since she is a workaholic, anyone who frequents the Clinic (or even the Guard HQ) has likely seen her around at one point or another. Feel free to talk to me about handwaving introductions or setting ones up, whatever you want.

As for specific individuals:
She has known Glacius the longest of anyone here in Hadriel, he's her bro, her Hadriel-BFF, and she will fight you if you hurt him. She is also very good friends with Carlisle, to the point of asking the network how she can go about making him immortal so his soul doesn't vanish into the ether. Standard friendship stuff, of course.
Her other old guard friends include Henry (northern bro 4lyfe y'all), Jo, Cecily and, since he's come back, Bruce is another person she's very glad to see around. She's good friends with Lup, Curufin, workmates with Rosen and George, ex-neighbours with Whistler (and probably still bugs him), likes Rosie, is dating Ignis and pissed off a whole bunch of people in her quest to stop Carlisle dying.

I'm sure I'm forgetting someone it happens when you've been here for 2 years and can't keep your nose out of things

Current Plans: WELL. Aside from pissing off everyone as stated above, Kate is going to have a lot of fun losing her sight (both her normal and her superhuman sight) during Fear's event, and shortly after finding out the location of the Door.

CR you're looking for: I remain the worst but if you think your character can handle someone who uses 10 words max at any one time (or if your character decidedly can't), then sure! Let's do this shit.

About Them: Julie is nineteen/twenty years old and something of a firecracker who hates being told what she can and can't do. She bucks against authority like it's an instinct and feels very strongly about a lot of things that she has very little experience in... like most people her age. She does, however, come from a world where a zombie infection has pretty much destroyed organised/developed society, but remembers a time when it wasn't like that. While she projects an air of confidence, a little digging under it reveals a mess of hangups and a girl who really just wants to be herself without always feeling like she needs to match up to someone else's idea of what she ought to be.

She holds a lot of anger inside herself, mostly directed at unfair her life has been for more or less her entire life.
Notable CR: Julie has a small circle of close friends, most of whom don't know each other. Delmar and Whistler are definitely the first people she thinks of in times of crisis, and she's also reasonably close to Agent Washington and George Lass along with some good CR with the likes of Serah, Lunafreya and several others. She opens up on a surface level very easily, but it takes a bit longer to actually get to know her.

Also, Whistler is kinda her boyfriend now? Work that one out.
Current Plans: Julie is going to be losing her sense of balance for the event, and while that in itself is a relatively minor thing (compared to the likes of losing your sight) she is definitely going to be freaked out about it. Losing control of her own body is a big no-no for her, so if anyone wants to check in on her...

I'm also planning to canon-update her to the end of Warm Bodies later in the month. She's book canon, not movie canon, so things end a bit more darkly for her.

About Them: A femme fatale turned zombie, Rita hates her life and most of Hadriel tbqh. She doesn’t care about much but herself and… herself. She gets a regular supply of brains from Hope, so she won’t be going on a murderous rampage anytime soon. She’s also always dtf and now had magic condoms from Love. Yay! (Stop her.)
Notable CR: She’s wary of Caedra but gets along with her now and also wants to keep tabs on her and stay on her good side, because Caedra is too much like Rita’s asshole of a dad. Also she’s roommates with Serah Farron (YEP YOU READ THAT RIGHT) and will definitely fight you if you mess with her cute little roomie. Only Rita can mess with her ok. I’m probably forgetting things. I love every thread I’ve done with her. Forgive my slippery memory.
Current Plans: Rita’s currently missing a toenail after her revival and will lose her hair during the Fear event. (Vanity, y’all. She vain.) I’m set with her for the event and want to do less with her so I can get Kat settled.

About Them: Nil is... complicated. He is charming and charismatic and quite easy to like... until he starts talking about death and how much he enjoys killing people/animals/anything with a heartbeat, then you start getting the idea of just how much of a peculiar man he actually is. He's of indeterminate age, Nil is not his real name, and you're unlikely to find out what either of those facts actually are at any point in your acquaintance with him.

This man is an ex-soldier and a thrill-seeker to an extreme degree. He has very little regard for his own life - to make it clear, he isn't suicidal, he just doesn't particularly seem to care if he dies as long as it's against a worthy foe. He is definitely dangerous, but he also understands consequences and isn't going to be committing random murders.
Notable CR: Nil doesn't exactly 'hang out' with anyone, but there are people he occasionally seeks out the company of. The main person holding that honour is Aloy, the poor woman, and given Nil's tendency to weird people out there isn't really anyone else at the moment.
Current Plans: Nil is going to lose his hand-eye coordination in the upcoming event! He is also going to lose it in the middle of fighting something outside the city, so please feel free to volunteer a rescue. He might not thank you right away.
CR you're looking for: Nil can be difficult to maintain CR with simply because he tends to frighten people off. What he really needs is something/someone to actually give a damn about.

About Them: Jet is one of the Fabulous Four, of which the other members are Party Poison, Fun Ghoul and Kobra Kid. You might expect that to mean he'll be just as wild as they are, but that would be where you're wrong. Jet Star is calm, level-tempered and undoubtedly the one who keeps them all together even when everything is falling apart. He's the one they rely on to remain sensible, and even though he usually gets swept up into Party's plans he's always the one trying to keep things from getting too crazy.

Unless the situation calls for crazy.

Just before arriving, Jet died. Not long before that, he was in a shootout in the desert. Because of the latter, he was wearing an eye patch when he arrived. He now isn't, but the eye he was wearing it over looks like someone pressed a hot poker across the skin and the eye, while not entirely blind, is definitely damaged.
Notable CR: His notable CR at the moment is still his cast, comprised of Party Poison, Fun Ghoul, Kobra Kid and The Girl. He's chatted with a few other people, but given his tendency to be suspicious of new people (even if he doesn't show it) no real connections have been made yet.
Current Plans: Not being hit by the event but definitely available to be around for people who are. Still very much trying to make sense of things while making sure his less stable-minded friends don't fall to pieces.
CR you're looking for: Chill friends to be chill with. Anyone who has beef with his friends and needs an apology for their shitty behaviour.

About Them: Grumpy gay with a heart of gold and a terrible temper. A disaster concoction of several different women who were soldiers and/or assassins because of memories programmed into that robot brain of hers, leading to a lot of crazy PTSD and identity issues full of fun.

Also has the ability to not-so-spontaneously combust herself and things around her and manipulate heat, so approach with caution and do not piss off. Unless you to.

Lastly she runs the Speakeasy, and usually does welcome dance nights for the new fish on the intro logs. Here is the most current one if you want to plop your character in whenever! While it isn't a major one, I decided to change the "Casino" floor to the "Game Room", as it holds more than just gambling games and avoid confusion (although I'm sure Confusion would have enjoyed that).

Notable CR: Lives with Nick Valentine who is basically her dadbot. Oscar is like her unclebot twice removed. Friends with Rosie, Atem, Alphys, Trafalgar Law, Aren Brosca, Carlisle Longinmouth (who is hooking her up with some wonderful "pot tea" to help with the headaches she's been suffering after futzing with her brain the previous month), and kinda Laura Palmer. Some antagonistic CR with Caedra Nisariel is going on and she's getting to know Seto Kaiba. She's still technically part of the Guard in a near-unofficial capacity, so some of them might know of her.
Also has a mutant cat named Tripod who is a good boy.

Current Plans: For the Fear event, Rey will be losing her soul. More info can be found in the plotting comment on the event post!

Otherwise I'm relatively open with her. She'll be stoked that the city will be moving from this crappy sunny planet -- even though she was hoping for a crappy icy tundra instead. But she will deal.

CR you're looking for: Other soldier types. She's softened up a little towards synthetics, though she's not very keen on Name. Always accepting volunteers at the Speakeasy and Game Room, including maintenance, brewing/distilling, music, and setting up dance nights. I'm pretty damn open to anyone who thinks she might gel well with, negative or positive!

About Them: Chillest grim reaper death lady you ever did meet. Giant 6'8" woman who also wears sunglasses at night because of course she does.

Additionally Ravine is a Psychopomp who, in her world, is tasked with guiding dead souls when they die in order to prevent them from becoming attached to the living world and turning into harmful spirits. She also is a telepath with a sense for predicting probabilities, but her predictions are more of "possible outcomes" than anything that is set in stone. To give a better idea, this is basically Ravine Vision all day, erryday.

She's over 3000+ years old, from ancient Jerusalem/Babylon. Seen a lot of shit because she comes from a point in canon where the world in the distant future has suffered a catastrophic pandemic that nearly wiped out all human life. But that's okay, because she'll still listen to your problems and have no judgement about how terrible of a person you might be. :)

Her permissions post is a big deal for people who interact with her in any deep capacity due to the invasive nature of her abilities, even though she won't take advantage of it willy nilly unless she finds reason to (in other words I try not to infomod without player permission and will ask ahead of time before she pulls anything extreme).

Notable CR: Her closest friend is Atem but she's also growing more fond of Alphys, and she's developing some with Carlisle and as she is brainstorming some solutions to his terminal condition. Has CR with the likes of George Lass, Lup Taako, Cole, and Kiran Anthony as well. Probably one of the few people who thinks Lydia is all right. Been trolling Caedra Nisariel and Seto Kaiba because that's just how she rolls.

Current Plans: During the event Ravine will be doing Fear a HUGE SOLID when she loses her control over her reaper abilities, turning into a Shedim/demon. Like with Rey, you can find more information about that in the plotting comment if you wanna do anything with her for that.

After the event, however, this experience will inspire Ravine to attempt to make contact with the spirits of the dead hosts and fallen Null inhabiting the planet. This will probably be in an open log near the end of the month, just before the city is relocated. That way anyone who has characters that either want to be involved/are inclined towards being able to commune with ghosts/spirits can jump in as well. This is something that I have mod permission for.

In the long-term plans, there are some things with helping Carlisle from dying in the works, but we're still futzing with the details. Long story short, the reapers from Ravine's canon are capable of "purifying" corruption in souls to restore them to their corporeal form, but at the cost of a piece of their own soul. Which is something she's considering for Carlisle if there are no other options. In general reapers are able to sacrifice parts of their souls but at a high price to their own well-being, but that is usually the point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

CR you're looking for: I'm always looking for spirit/ghost types. Characters that are either dead, know that they are dead/will die in canon, or have different canon timelines and/or outcomes are fun to play off of as well (see her permissions post for more detail on that). Dream walkers, psychics, or anyone drawn to those types. Positive and negative CR are good, but I'd like for her to get more friends because those are so hard for her to come by and she doesn't know how to make them.
