If Jade was anyone else, he might find himself feeling particularly emotional about seeing Luke here, or maybe he'd have immediately felt concerned for the young noble's condition; after all, Luke was in some danger of dissipating the last time they spoke.
Jade was definitely not the right person for that though. He was the right person for making himself known by casting a quick Energy Blast to stop the unholy creation that was attacking Luke.
