[Like a regular vaudeville skit, he takes a step back. He's the only stooge in this one. It's him. It takes him another couple seconds before, stilted, he lowers the fan and fidgets with it instead.]

Then I haven't committed any forbidden acts...? I don't know the rules of this place.

[They're not carved into a cliff face, how is he supposed to know what to do? Troubling.]
