The door he stops at isn't locked exactly, more secured, and he steps inside once he's got it back open and moves enough to let Wash in before shutting it behind them. The room inside, an apartment for one, looks like it's been taken apart and put back together, shards of reflective glass pushed together into a pile near a wall while some of the furniture seems cracked in places.
