[thom figures out pretty quickly that touching those... things that came out of the door with him is probably a pretty terrible idea, and to be entirely frank his abilities don't exactly lie down the right path of trying to take these things on with his bare hands anyway so he's mostly been trying to avoid them.
years of basketball training has managed to keep him more or less out of reach of their grasping tongues (??) but not everyone has been so quick or lucky.
he stops every time he finds someone that's injured, how could he not? mild scrapes and abrasions or. bigger issues. he has to do what he can. that's what a heroes for after all, right?] It's okay, I can help.
