About Them: Reclusive little genius detective who isn't precisely the most moral sort. He's manipulative, passive-aggressive . . . but also generally a pretty passive, almost emotionally-dead, paranoid recluse who only gives a legitimate crap about one person. He's also five-foot-nothing and is super skinny, has white hair and wears a really dumb oversized coat that covers the bottom half of his face when he deigns to go outside. (Did I mention he was paranoid? Yeeeaah.) He may be 20, but you could easily mistake him for about twelve or so. He wouldn't even be surprised.
Notable CR: He hangs with Mello. Well. Not that this has really been seen publicly because they've kept it on the down-low. But yeah, that's his favourite person. Yes, his taste in people is extremely questionable. He doesn't exactly go out in public much, so his other most significant CR at this point includes . . . Ai and Ushahin.
Current Plans: He is being his damn reclusive self. He lives with Mello, technically, but with Mello on the run, Near does have to leave the house for supplies and stuff. It's going to be tough for him to give enough of a crap to actually do anything for Hope's event, but Rage will be screwing with his phone in some way. I just haven't figured out how.
CR you're looking for: I mostly just want to expand his CR circle. This damn boy is stupidly reclusive.
