I picked up Alphys maybe 6-7 months ago and like... she's such an underrated character I die every day. honestly I'm in the opposite boat, I wish I could play OCs! I'm sssso fuckin bad at creating my own characters. the closest I get is custom protags lmao

Most of the fandom characters I did play were either obscure as fuck or not very often played, so I feel you so hard there. And Alphys is so cute that I love her so I'm glad, hahaha. I hear you about OCs! Rey is actually from a series I've been writing for a long ass time and it's a lot of work! But it's also fun having control over your own continuity sometimes, even though there are still things that blindside me like whoa, hahaha.

ALPHYS YOU PRECIOUS LITTLE LIZARD GOOF she's great. I'll totally hit her up if you're doing a top level for the demon event log - since I think I'm just gonna be tagging around for it! I'm excite.

I've seen you talking about it on plurk! it looks wicked and it's amazing to me that people can write like WHOLE ENTIRE BOOKS bc I am awful at long-form writing. personally my favorite thing to do is pick up a character who's technically part of the main cast but probably the most underrated of the bunch and then just round out casts lmao

Aw thank you so much! It's one of those things that I've always wanted to do since I was a kid and when I finished my first book, I just got on a roll with completing project after project and now I've got the beast I do today. And yeah, with fandom characters it's always fun to take little bits of clues from the canon and work in some headcanon! It kinda makes it feel more like your own that way, while still playing the same character. Headcanon stuff is great.
