but, they were happy months, at least. and if nothing else, those memories were worth it. )

S'pose I never properly said thanks. ( and that deserves some gratitude. she's trying this whole saying thanks thing, because nowadays - more and more often - it seems like there are too many situations where nothing else fits. ) For gettin' me off my arse.

Equally, Kate, the people who you think you need to thank know how much they mean to you. These things go unspoken, and I am a firm believer in love being expressed not necessarily alongside declarations of it. I am an angel of the Lord, after all.

Don't mean you don't regret it. ( she let so many things go unspoken because they felt unnecessary to say, and a moment later there were no more chances to say it. maybe those people did, do know, but the words still linger in her mind, lie sharp on her tongue.
