kiss me, hold me, love me
Y'all know what this is! Post a toplevel with your character. Tag around to whichever unfortunate fellow cave-dweller they run into under the mistletoe that mysteriously have sprung up around Hadriel. Thread that encounter out, whatever its form. Profit?? Enjoy!

[Yukari tilts his head slightly, watching Kain back.]
Although, it would have to be under this specific one. You can't kiss under another mistletoe and have the bad luck from this mistletoe dispelled.

[Kain glances over and grumbles in a lower voice.]
I'm not very used to this...

[Yukari smirks a bit at Kain.]
Still though, you haven't told me what you will do.
[He's a little preemptive, just in case this man gets a little bold in the name of a little good luck. He might have to back down from his dare.]

If we must kiss to prevent this bad luck from befalling us... then so be it. If you're not against it.

You know, it is dangerous to buy so easily into whatever you're told. Someone could really take advantage of you.
no subject
[It's definitely not something Kain wanted to hear, given his past and the ways he's already been manipulated. He doesn't need to go through anything like that again.]
no subject
[He gives a small wave of his hand to indicate the whole interaction, smirking.]
I got you to believe that you would have to kiss me, and all I said was it causes bad luck if you don't. If I had deeper ulteriour motives than just pulling your leg, I could have done many things to you. You probably would have even slept with me if I worked my way up to it.
And I didn't have to try very hard at all for you to accept what I was saying, did I? Even though you were visibly uncomfortable, you didn't attempt to deflect any of my lies. You are very gullible, and I must say it's quite obvious. I'm sure plenty of people have already taken advantage of you, haven't they?
no subject
[Readily manipulated? Easily led astray? Why does it all seem like the same thing? Kain very much hates to admit that such a thing could ever be true. Yet it had happened, hadn't it? He'd let himself be deceived yet again.]
Never mind that. It was simply that you sprang a clever trick on me, and nothing more. I've never been taken advantage of in my life.
[Except that whole mind control thing, but let's pretend that never happened.]
no subject
[How delightful that he gets to taunt Kain further, even after the initial prank is over.]
If you want, I can break you of that nasty habit. So you can tell when people are taking advantage of you.
[Mostly because it means he'll just get to tease you while he helps you learn.]
no subject
[Kain's eyes narrow in suspicion. He doesn't like admitting that this is a massive problem he suffers. He's more than a little annoyed with himself for falling for such a trick, but now it can't be helped. The other man had preyed on a weakness of his. He can't exactly deny it.]
no subject
[Showing in a very literal sense. The best teacher is experience, isn't it?]
If you can learn to read the cues, you'll be able to protect yourself from being tricked, as well as... [He briefly looks the knight over.] What remains of your innocence.
no subject
[He couldn't sound more doubtful. He sighs, not looking very thrilled about this whole thing. He's still annoyed about getting tricked in the first place.]
As long as this isn't some trick...
no subject
[Suggesting Kain had lost his virginity, of course.]
Well, if you don't trust me, you can always turn down the offer. No one would blame you.
no subject
[Kain is so not comfortable discussing such matters, he's got more than a few bigtime issues behind that, of course.]
I may have to, for now. But... I'll keep it in mind. There may come a time when I need it.
no subject
Very well, then. Best of luck to you, Sir Knight.
