Kate was just such an unexpected character. I'm very glad I've had the chance to write with her. She's got a whole lot going on under the surface and it's deep, dark, and occasionally very unsettling. And yet she's also this person with bright hair and a bright smile and I love the combination?

I haven't had much chance to write with Matt yet, though I'd dearly love to change that, but your interpretation of him just made his character click for me in a way that playing the game didn't really? I think it was on one of the memes where you wrote out his motivations for participating in the prank and--yeah. It made sense. So thank you for breathing life into this goober. It's interesting to see him from Emily's pov and then have him in Hadriel as himself - which is decidedly more complicated than how Emily remembered or idealized him.

You're a fun person. I'm very glad we get to write together

i am an endless fan of characters who are so dissonant from their personality tbh, so kate's physical design was just 'what is exactly the opposite from this moody child's background? OH HERE BE BRIGHT AF' like i said in my comment to you i am so fascinated by where these two have gone and where they mirror each other so /sits and chinhands forver

god we definitely will. i should know better than to try and intro characters when autumn and winter start because my energy levels die but i do it anyway. i am so so glad my ramblings on him have made an impact because even i didn't expect to love him this much or want to see him fleshed out like i'm attempting to when i lp'ed the game for the first time. gah, i have a lot of feelings about him and everything he could be if ud had more than the one night as canon. christ, i'd love to see all of the kids dealing with the aftermath in a light novel or smth, but especially him since he gets so comparatively little of the truth. just. nnnn. in b4 i replay this game tomorrow and cry a lot.

I always applaud people who can write OCs really well, and the fact that you've fleshed Kate out so well is so interesting to read. It's clear you've put a lot of thought into her as a character and it really comes through! I also love how integral she's become to the game's setting, and how she feels very much like a part of Hadriel's foundations.

Matt is of course a wonderful cinnamon roll and I have criminally not had enough threads with him WE MUST DO MORE

cries a lot about this tbh. i am always worried about her being... i guess overdone after six years of having her kicking sround as my main character in one form or another. but yeah she's an idiot who can't keep herself from getting involved in shit so I GUESS SOMEHOW... sighs. i love her threads with sans tbh and how they play off each other with sans sort of knowing and keeping an eye on everyone in his own way and kat just. being a dope who can't chill.

yesss god i fail so much at tagging out enough with matt thank you winter, B| hopefully in coming months i'll have the energy to play him more consistently jesus.

My favorite thing about Kate and Em is that "take a shower" was the start of their friendship. Or whatever it is. Kate's such an individual and such a multidimensional character. She's got so much dark stuff in her past that Emily would frankly be horrified by (torturedream notwithstanding -- that was creepy but Emily gets what anger does to a person I guess). And yet there's Faith, who adores Kate. I'mso glad I getto see all these sides of Kate, and I love how you handle her tacitness (that's a word now if it wasn't before), and I just enjoy seeing her learn and grow and deal.

And Matt. I could not have asked for a better Matt. I don't deserve your Matt. He lives and breathes the way you write him, so much more than in the game. It's so cool to see him be his full, complex self after Emily has spent months putting him on a pedestal. ;; Best surprise.

man, kate and em have been an adventure. i am so glad you're always up for all the sides of this nerd pretending she isn't a complete loser, with either of your girls. i love exploring all the fucked up shit in faite's background and how they came out of it, how their differences manifest despite so many similarities (tbh happy au kate would have been much more like faith lmao what a d i s a s t e r...) and how katily have this weird bitchy sisterhood thing going on.

and no, you deserve much more than my matt and i am so grateful you enjoy my portrayal of this jock dork and think that it reflects what we didn't see in the game as well. ;;

I am pretty much agreeing with what's been said: Kate is such a fun OC, and you clearly put a lot of thought and depth into her! Her and Carlisle's CR has been such an unexpected gift, and though they often clash, it's the good kind of clashing. I adore it.

god, kate and carlisle ended up the most unexpected of... friends? whatever that counts as. i was so convinced she was going to hate him but she's like "no protect this loser pls >x" and i love it. they've had such a rollercoaster so far and i love it. i need more with both of them in future because he's amazing.

and more with nick. nick and matt should also meet at some point. but first that carlisle and mattily thread dammit.

MY FRIENDDD I am so happy that we both met in this game and that we both apped in at around the same time... gosh, what a coincidence is that? Like you said, our characters have been around each other right from the beginning, getting their footing and learning to trust and open up to one another and that's so cool to see. I always look forward to our threads; there have been some light-hearted ones and some real gut-punchers, but no matter what, I know they're going to leave an impact on Glacius and I.

You're also just super encouraging and enthusiastic OOCly, and that really fuels my enthusiasm for stuff in turn. I hope we're able to keep threading and chatting together for a long time! It's been great so far and I'm looking forward to more, you excellent person, you.

I love how well-rounded Kate is as a character, how much thought and care you've put into playing her and making her feel real. I also love that you're not afraid to make her mess up and do stupid and destructive things and then regret it! I always love that in a player and a character. I love your Matt, too! He's pitch-perfect and absolutely easy to get attached to, which is how Matt should be. I always want more threads with both of them!

And I love how proactive and engaged you are as a player. It's truly a quality that we as mods admire and are so, so happy to have in our game. Thank you for getting so involved and for inspiring others to get involved. ♥
