I really had no interest in Fallout until I ran into your Nick, so take that as you may. But in all seriousness, Nick is fascinating to write with. He's got so many different layers and he cares so deeply about other people and yet struggles a lot with himself and treating himself kindly. It's been great to write Maketh against them. They're similiar in painful ways and Nick has been pushing her to grow, even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard.

Carlisle's one of my favorite ocs I've ever run into in a game. I'm struggling to express just why, but he feels genuine and real in a way that I can relate to. Possibly because I too have severe anxiety? Who knows. But the world building is great (plus it's fun with his previous game experience!) and though Miriam ultimately didn't work out, I'm glad we got to thread them together.

Keep on writing. I'm very glad we got to meet.

I NEED ALL THE CR WITH YOU, ALWAYS. all my threads with Carlisle have had me chuckling and i love how ingrained Nick feels in the game, just as this really important and integral figure that everyone knows. i'm canonblind to fallout but good god I love how your portrayal of Nick's gotten me interested in the franchise!

I don't have much CR with you, but every time I see a Nick or Carlisle thread I expand to see what's going on. I love the relationship between Nick and Rey, and well, Carlisle is just always a delight to read no matter what he's up to -- I'm not sure I can nail down the why exactly, but he's just such a different kind of character to see around. It's really great, and I can't wait to read more in the future. :3

Listen okay Carlisle is great. He's got so much going on and he's so well developed. I love him a lot. And I never expected his and Em's CR to go where it has, and I'm so glad it's there because it's just so good! And you're a delight and I'm glad we met and yes more of everything.

You are such a wonderful person with amazing characters Grimme I'm cry. ;n; I already got a healthy dose of Carlisle's fears and trepidations in Ax, and even got to see him make some strides in working to overcome them... but to see the reasons and events that gave root to those fears, and the way that they shaped him as he's grown up, has been... wow, just so, so well-done. Surprisingly heartbreaking and moving facets of a character with a delightfully humorous outer layer. I think that's part of the reason that Carlisle works so damn well and is so wonderful to thread off of... he comes from this rich and vivid fantasy world, and his characterization is so sophisticated and convincing that it's always a real treat to learn more about him. I just love this OC so damn much, and it's been great seeing the various the characters that have threaded with him have affected him. I'm glad Glacius is here to mend the hurt left in Algidus' wake... that too has been another really moving turn of CR, as has been the way he's worked tirelessly to support Glacius when he really needed it. These two together make me laugh and cry and smile and it's been such a wonderful ride... I'm looking forward to keeping that ball rolling! Thank you for so many wonderful threads, and for responding to my enthusiasm with equal excitement and care.

On that note, you already know what a fantastic player and person you are... you have supported me throughout some extremely difficult times lately, without ever making me feel like I've been a burden. I've already said a lot on that and some of that is better left for more personal channels of communication, but just know that it will always mean a lot to me--you'll always mean a lot to me. You're a great friend and I'm absolutely thrilled to be chatting with you and getting to know you more. Thanks for everything, Grimme! You're just the best, no other way to put it.

I haven't threaded with either Nick or Carlisle much, except a bit as Hope, but I love them both. Nick's created some really amazing CR that's a delight to read, and Carlisle is such an interesting and fun character. They're both played so well, and in particular - I always think our game has the best OCs anywhere on Dreamwidth, and Carlisle is absolutely an example of that. He feels so layered and engaging, it's fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever either of them does next. ♥
