HE'S STILL LIKE. SUPER CONFLICTED ABOUT THIS GUY.

Because besides his family his friends mean more to him than anything else. The pleasure of a good night out with a few of them does wonders for his soul. It's why he adapts and adjusts to their lifestyles rather easily just like his miner friends at home where he basically is a hobo with no noble status in his other life. It's kind if awkward.

honestly there's just these fundamental divergences in ideology cause sans knows what it is to have family be the most important people in your life but he's also like. super unwilling to kill or hurt on family's behalf and shit.

and with papyrus's disappearance this is just gonna be compounded ha ha

Yeah, there is that. His whole family has a drive that hates god so being under the thumb of them makes him super tense constantly. When they are awakened as "Noah" it's an inescapable ingrained truth. He's willing to kill for family if someone were to hurt them. Yet he's not like his family at all in other ways. He doesn't just straight out mass murder like some of his family can. Clings too much to his humanity while the rest have given it up. Tyki is one of those odd balls that has no birthday or real backstory. We believe the author is doing that on purpose for an unknown reason atm.

It's sad because Tyki can be rather 'normal' or chill if it wasn't for his fun at killing things and other things that make him a horrible person.

lmao that coupled with sans's hardcore morality judgment makes some CONFLICT versus tyki having genuine fun killing things lol

Yep. Just like he hunted down Sans double to kill him for other means but when the fight started going he honestly got carried away and killed him for the thrill. At least he doesn't 'need' to kill, he just likes doing it.

None of his family is actually related except his brother and his brother's daughter. They all start out as random people just 'awoken' from the gene that all humans possess.
