it's all good, Gladio is only intimidating when he's in bodyguard mode, otherwise he's very nice!! usually...

Ikaruga's ladylike and polite. And tinier than she seems to be, because she wears platform sandals that are 4-5 inches high in canon and still only manages to be equal in height to a character that's about 5'5". But it's all good. She's a magic user and a swordswoman.

She'll be pleasant to him by default due to his ties to people she likes.
