Two quick points here as well:
1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

SCENARIO ONE: SLIPPERY NAKED PEOPLE
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

No big deal, but there's a freaky wall-climbing zombie thing stalking you. Maybe you should get inside? Or run. Or just accept death. This time, the Door has brought in some Descendants, from the Uncharted video game.

Descendents are emaciated, man-eating monsters that used to be normal people until affected by a virus - you know how that goes! Terribly, always. They are fast and agile and quite strong, and they will stalk you and crawl up walls and maybe break your neck if they can. Badass.]

SCENARIO TWO: THE FUTURE ISN'T BRIGHT
[You found a mirror. It's your mirror, created just for you, and when you look into it - well. You might not want to look more than once, because it shows an image of the worst possible future you could imagine for yourself. Maybe you're dead. Maybe someone you love it. Maybe you've lost everything. Basically, it sucks.

What are you gonna do? Throw it away? Smash it? Keep looking over and over because you love pain? Or maybe someone else threw theirs away, and you're the one that found it. You really, really want to look. Invasive, maybe, but your curiosity is killing you. Just a peek...

This is a mini version of our Bad End event this month.]

SCENARIO THREE: VISIT ME AND EXPLAIN YOUR PASSIONS
[You know that totally inconsequential hobby? The one that you love? Or maybe your favorite TV show or comic book? Wouldn't it be great if you had someone to talk to about it? Someone who would listen patiently while you explain the family tree from that obscure fantasy novel you reread every year?

Well, wait no longer! Your time is now! The moment you make eye contact with someone, you'll know they want to listen to you explain your obsession. They've just been waiting and hoping you'll come along and educate them! So go to town, buddy, tell them all about your waifu.

Or maybe a stranger just walked up to you and started talking about their favorite knitting pattern. That's... cool. Are you gonna interrupt them? Walk away? Get into an argument about how your favorite knitting pattern is so much better? Now's the time to show your passion, or possibly your complete disinterest! Go for it!]

[Tucker stops quickly enough not to run over the kid, but said kid is lucky. He shoves his hands in his pockets, his expression a mixture of concern and pity.]

Yeah. Hi. That's not mine.

[Hayden blinks up at Tucker, a clear look of deflation on his face. Well, that and confusion. They're pretty well mixed.]

But you threw it onto my head so I know it was you!

[Yes...he was in that garbage can.]

[Hmm. An... interesting development. But you won't throw him off that easily, small child.]

Yeah, that's because I stole it from someone else. It's called a prank. Good luck finding the actual owner.

Also: why were you in the trash?

[Concerned now, he looks down at the mirror. Hayden starts to breathe a bit more loudly.]

Oh no! Does that now mean that I am the one who is causing a prank to happen? This is a terrible news!

Dude, there's food here. Like, not-garbage food. Go eat a fruit or something.

[More importantly:]

Yeah, you're now the prankmaster. Congrats.

[Or maybe not quite so easy, because Hayden is now screaming. And also crying.]

Kid, dude. Calm down. It's fine. Pranks aren't illegal. Do you- Is someone supposed to be like, watching you?

[Hayden hiccups and wipes messily at his face, which mostly only has the result of smearing tears everywhere, especially since his hands are full.]

But what if I make someone sad because I did them a bad prank? It wouldn't be fine if someone was sad!

Why would I have a watcher? Is it to make sure that I do good work? Is it to make sure I don't do more pranks instead of good work?

[Hayden blinks, and then squints as he considers this new pattern of thinking.]

You're right! My mirror also made me very sad! I don't know what to do with it or to this other one so I guess I will instead take very good care of them even though they show such not-nice things.

[At least this kid is easy to redirect?]

[Like, he can talk, clearly, but describing it seems like a whole different animal. So he just hands Tucker the mirror. In it is...possibly a self-explanatory type of future? It's hard exactly to say.

It's the same kid in front of him, clearly older, clearly more menacing, taken over by some kind of demonic personality that doesn't seem to be gripping him in his current state. He's dressed like some kind of solider or royal guard to a member of the Demonic Elite, if that is such a thing, and unsurprisingly, considering the nature of these visions, he's soaked in the blood of his victims.

There's a young woman on the ground behind him who he bears a striking resemblance to, but her bottom half isn't exactly in tact and it's not too hard to figure out what might've happened there.]

I don't really get it, but I want to cry every time I think about it! Do these make us bad?

[Welp. He was sure and incorrect. That's some creepy shit, but he's seen... worse... ish. Yeah no, this is pretty bad.

Tucker's definitely familiar with demons, though all of his experiences with them have been super shitty thus far. Then again, he's got no real room to judge monsters. And there's no way this kid is evil.]

Nah, I'm pretty sure these things just show, like, your worst fears or something? And this seems like a pretty good thing to be afraid of, so. You're good.

I didn't think of it that way. I don't want this to happen so if it's not real that's good! I want to be good and stay good forever!

[His fear of bad things means that he's good? Thank you for calling him good, Tucker! He'll never forget it! Although his tears haven't even dried yet but he beams upward, grinning cheerily with his sharp, crooked demon teeth.]
