Welcome to Hadriel's test drive, and thank you again for your interest in the game! As always, our reserves page is here, and our applications page is here! Reserves open September 24th, and apps are open October 1st. Please remember that there is an app cap of 20 apps.

Two quick points here as well:

1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

SCENARIO ONE: TITAN TERRORS
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

In this case, the monster behind you may as well be the monster above you. No, not anything flying overhead, but the freakishly giant nude monsters hellbent on shoving your crunchy body into their mouths and chowing down.

Titans are large humanlike creatures who have superior strength, though more limited intelligence. Much like zombies, they desire only to devour all of the humans in their vicinity and will use any tools at their disposal to do so. Get your steel guitars ready and get pumped, because sie sind das essen und wir sind die jager!!!]

SCENARIO TWO: PAINTBALL ROYALE
[You've got a gun.

Okay, it's not a real gun- it's actually a paintball gun, which seems to knock people unconscious when you hit them. That's a pretty sweet deal! Except, you really want to be the last one standing, and you'll knock out countless people to do it. Every fight feels like life or death, whether you're waiting in the shadows to get the drop on someone or spraying paint all across the open streets in the fain hopes that you might get a tag or two.

Either way, if you lose, you'll find yourself waking up in a party! That's not so bad, right? It's a giant gathering of all the paint-covered losers in the city, with free food and drinks and a distribution of excellent prizes. What did you win? Fight your friends, but not in the dark and trauma-y way, and be the next winner of our Hadriel death (not really) match!

This is a mini version of our Party Royale event this month.]

C O N F U S I O N

SCENARIO THREE: WALK WALK FASHION BABY
[Your trusty leather jacket is gone. So are your worn and torn jeans, all your summer dresses, your boots and high tops and heels. Suddenly, nothing is where you expect it to be, not even that load of clothes that you've left in the laundry for the past few weeks (oops). In the stead of all of your beloved duds, you find some stuff that... might be a little questionable.

Whether you were the lucky recipient of the hand shawl, the face skirt, the suspender sweats or some other wild atrocity, you'll be sure to have some fun trying to maneuver around the city in your weird, cumbersome outfits. At least you don't look as silly as that guy over there in the sea urchin costume!]

[Despite Yusuke's own paintball misadventures, he's practically been shovelling food in his face nonstop since he got to the party, and he's showing no signs of slowing. He's on his way back to the nearest buffet table for more, when he hears a sigh and spots a familiar face.]

Ah, Haru. [He heads over, concerned.] Why do you sound so forlorn?

[miradi]

[Haru's food is long since cold, and the disappointment only spreads further across her face as Yusuke approaches.] Yusuke-kun...

[She pouts at her plate.] I was not ready to stop. I had set up the perfect trap, and then the other paintball players ambushed me instead...

[wantsnudes]

Oh, you actually played the game?

[He seems genuinely surprised about this, since he doesn't see the appeal of paintball at all.]

I must admit, I was rather sad to find myself here, as well. Akira and I were enjoying using the paintball guns to create art.

[miradi]

Yes, it was quite enjoyable! Tracking everyone down, taking them out with a splashing of paint... it was as though we were all in Mementos again and taking down lower powered Shadows! [One might think Haru is joking, but no, she's truly serious. No offense to anyone nearby that she mercilessly wiped out.] Though I concede my defeat, it would have been nice to stay longer...

[Haru giggles at hearing that.] That sounds like the both of you. I would have liked to have seen it.

[wantsnudes]

L-lower powered Shadows...? Those poor people, annihilated without mercy...

[He mumbles that last part under his breath. It sounds like the paint-fuelled equivalent of a bloodbath, and after seeing how Haru can be in battle, the mental images are just filling in for themselves.]

...Ah, yes, it was fun. I do hope Akira managed to get away safely, even if I was shot.

[miradi]

[smile smile did you say something] It's always good to be challenged by someone who is just as adept at paintball as you are, but it's much more exciting when you're more powerful! [Haru you're not helping.

With the mention of Akira, she nods brightly.] I'm sure our leader got away safely. Why, he's probably still outsmarting them now. [She might prefer the head-on approach over Akira's more subtle, stealthy style, but she too is a thief and can appreciate the intricacies of getting an advantage.]

[wantsnudes]

[HARU PLEASE STOP, you're 2scary.]

That's true. Knowing him, he could easily win the game and avenge us, even after all that time spent with me.

[Compared to Haru's bloodbath, it's not hard to imagine him sneaking around the streets like they're a Palace, sniping shots into people before ducking back behind cover.]

[miradi]

We should root for him!

[gasp]

And if Akira-kun wins the game, he will win the prize! That means he could tell us what it is!

[beyond bathing the streets in paint, she really wanted to know! this will entirely sate her curiosity!]

[wantsnudes]

Yes, precisely. Which reminds me -- I received a prize for my limited participation, and while it is beautiful...

[He goes to fetch it from where he'd kept it for safekeeping on a nearby table. It's a sizeable potted plant, and whoever decided on the flower must have had a sense of humour, because it's fire lilies -- or sayuri.]

...I'm you would care for these far better than I. Would you like to have them?

[miradi]

[Haru quirks her head at the mention of Yusuke's prize - her own was cuter rather than functional, a plush keychain of a black cat that resembled Mona if she squinted - but her interest is piqued, and when the plant appears, she smiles widely.]

How appropriate for you! [She giggles, softly; in its way the prize is almost a kindness, a representation of something so important to him. The offer presents a quandry, though.] But-- they're-- [sayuri. They should be his. But he does have a point of her knowing how to look after plants...] If you're certain, I would love to take care of them... and I will do so to the best of my ability.

[They're less... functional than her veggies, but no less important, so she'll do her best!]

[Yusuke's bad at taking care of and feeding himself, let alone the added responsibility of a plant, so his expression brightens when she agrees.]

Thank you very much. Once I've replaced all my supplies, perhaps I will attempt to recreate them as a still life piece. What do you think?

[Actually, it's not a bad idea to paint plants more often in general. It seems like the kind of thing Haru would like.]

[miradi]

[Haru brightens. It certainly is an idea that appeals to her.] That's a wonderful idea. I think they would be very happy if you did; they'll definitely bloom their best!

[They're blooming heartily now, and well, even if it's not talking to them... it's always nice to be appreciated. Plants have feelings too.]

Perhaps we can find many different flowers to compliment them. Akira-kun might even be able to help us if we asked him. He's worked at a flower shop, after all.

That is an excellent idea. A perfect arrangement of flowers would lend variety, even if the composition will still emphasise the lilies as the most prominent component. Yes, I think that will be perfect... and if I use that style... But what of the background...?

[He trails off, muttering to himself as he puts a painting together in his head. If he had his sketchbook right now, he would already be drawing something.]
