About Them: Lance is a psychologist, criminal profiler, and FBI agent, all of which mean that his experience in Hadriel has been all over the place. He's a genuinely kind person who wants to help other people, and most of the time he's sensitive and empathetic. He has very strong morals and firmly believes in trying to do the right thing and find a peaceful solution, but he's also more than worldly enough to know that isn't always an option; still, violence should be a last resort. He's perfectly fine with being a sarcastic jerk with much less provocation, though, and is often reserved and distrusting even when being friendly.
Notable CR: Brennan is a canonmate and basically like his older sister, he's been friends with Rosen pretty much since arriving, he and Adam have a really interesting friendship, and he and Maketh don't get along to put it nicely. Lance has a ton of casual CR, which I love, and also a few individuals he's starting to like or know well enough to begin considering friends, so that's all great. 8D
Current Plans: Lance is currently learning magic from Kyna and how to resist compulsions from Carlisle, planning to go look for the godkilling weapon with Nate, trying to keep the Clinic from getting attacked/exploded/anything else with the rest of the staff, meeting with people to make plans about the Null and also just help them with their problems, and may have had a part in causing some trouble with the Guard. So he's kind of involved in a little of everything, and I'm sure a way could be finagled for him to run into any other character.
CR you're looking for: I'm always up for new CR, and I'd also love to keep developing CR with the people he's already friendly (or, alternatively, annoyed) with, and see how it goes. c: He's difficult to get really close to, so it takes time, but he seriously needs more actual friends.

No worries! <3 And... Yeah, that's definitely a fair impression, even though he makes it really difficult for anyone trying to help him because again, total hypocrite. Still, just having friends and people who care about him in general goes a long way, and Atem could definitely help though that. :c

HI HELLO i would love for harlan and lance to talk more and get closer!! maaaybe harlan could message lance to sort of continue their convo from forever ago during the mirror event? he wasn't in the best place mentally to have that convo then but he's... sort of better lately... it would be a good distraction from the null shit going on, at least. >.> or they could run into each other in another way!! i'm open to p much anything.

I'm totally good with that! c: Or with doing something else if you prefer; I'm also good with whatever. Lance is mostly lurking around the Clinic but he can easily be found other places and of course his inbox is always open so yes I definitely want more CR with these two. ♥

with either tucker or michael but michael has already spoken to him a few times. I know Lance has had to deal with A Lot of people's problems lately and Michael isn't big on psychologists, but if you wanted, I could make a case for him to hit up Lance post-murdertimes.

OR if you don't want to do more counseling stuff, I'm sure we can come up with another excuse!

I'm a little stuck for a specific suggestion, but I love Lance (if he and Nate are talking I'm probably in the background, creepily popcorning) and I really really want to do more with him and Elena.

YES I so want these two to talk more 8D I'm also kind of drawing a blank on how to shove them together, but maybe while the Null stuff happens later in the month we'll have a good excuse for them to interact, or we could always just have them accidentally run into each other and see how it goes from there. c:

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Chris Hartley

About Them: Chris is the character who fills the nerd archetype role for his canon, which is built on horror tropes. But, like the rest of his canon, a bit of a twist is taken; Chris is a really weird nerd, in that he's social, friendly, and calm under pressure. He's sensitive to people and their motives and emotions, easy to get along with, and may be responsible for stealing all the chill in Hadriel and keeping it for himself. He's quick and decisive in a dangerous situation, protective of his friends, and the cave's current wendigo expert.
Notable CR: Mello, oddly enough; they were frenemies for awhile, but now they're just straight up friends. Cashmere and Nick Rivenna are long time friends, he likes Carlisle and Glacius a lot, gets along with most of the Guard, he and Gren are plotting buddies, and he thinks Ellie's a little badass. He actually knows uh... I'd say a lot of the cave, although not quite as many as he used to, and also knows most of the gods pretty well.
Current Plans: Chris is laying low a little since he's on the Null's hitlist, even though he doubts he's anyone's first target. He's also working on secret plans and such with a few people, keeping the gods up to date on what he can about the populace and the populace up to date on what he can about the gods, and generally working on stuff behind the scenes.
CR you're looking for: I'm giving the lame 'any' answer here, mostly because Chris is not the strongest muse at the moment but I'm still open to plotting stuff.

this is the wrong journal but: I think I might have Tucker hit up Chris to talk gods. He's mostly made up his mind on the whole war thing, but Chris has been one of the more outspoken pro-god folks, so he seems like The Guy to Talk To
