About Them: Glacius is a towering alien of ice who is a gentle giant at heart despite his fierce, intimidating appearance. He suffers from isolation from his people and from the feeling of being out of place among so many humans, and seeks solace from this in the company of the friends that he's made here--their open-minded acceptance of him means a ton, given his often torturous encounters with the humanity of his own world. It's because of this rocky history that he can often be wary when establishing new CR with human characters, but he has the propensity to be a fiercely loyal ally once you get past those walls. He functioned as a galactic marshal back in his own world, so he has a fierce sense of justice and honor as well as a vested interest in maintaining peace in the city and protecting innocents from harm.
Notable CR: Carlisle, who he may or may not be space married to. Kate is also one of his closest friends. He's also a member of the Guard in the city, so he frequently checks in with Maketh, Henry, and Nick, and assists in their peacekeeping endeavors. He's also been getting to know Rey more, and is acquaintances with Rosen, Alphys, Chris.
Current Plans: Uhhh I don't have a lot of plans with him lately, but he's trying to keep both Carlisle and Kate out of the shit with the Null. He's interested in trying to acquire their god-killer but not interested in following them or outright murdering other people to get it, so he's trying to figure out how to navigate this admittedly messy situation. I general, he's just trying to keep people safe from the madness of the city while trying to figure out a way to get home and liberate his friends, the usual!
CR you're looking for: Anything and everything, as always! In particular, people for him to defend and protect is really up there, as he hasn't had a chance to do much of that and it's a very important aspect of his character. If your character has a propensity for getting into trouble and needs help getting out of a scrape, I'd love it if you hit me up! I'm also totally okay with negative CR as it gives him added chances to put his unique and highly-honed fighting prowess on display.

:[ Sorry Kate he comes from a very private people! Also it wasn't as much of a wedding as he would have liked, he was very hurt and tired and he could barely make it through the proper rituals. But he'll probably attempt said ritual again under better circumstances just to make up for that so maybe after it might occur to him to, you know, actually tell her that hey he's taken a kind of big step in his life.

rosie and carlisle don't see eye to eye so she might try to become better friends with glacius as sort of in! not that she'll be super obvious about that, just.

Ohh, yes! Glacius is always confused when humans randomly take interest in him (beyond the usual "wtf you're an alien that's so weird/cool" stuff, so it should be pretty interesting. I'm always up for him meeting new people! Did you have any particular way that you thought this might happen--would she reach out to him in his inbox, or would we do it on a log somewhere?

she could easily hit him up in his inbox, asking some... question maybe inconspicuously.

does he cook/bake? she's been trying to find people that do for. reasons. weed-related reasons. not that she'll say as much of course but rklghakla

Cooking/baking was an entirely foreign process to him, given his avoidance of heat/fire and the fact that he doesn't need to prepare food in such a way to safely eat it! He has been making attempts to learn in order to better equip himself to care for Carlisle, and he's getting better, but I wouldn't say he's adept at it yet.

He'd probably be a little alarmed at the thought of weed, haha, just because of his background in law enforcement and the fact that it's a drug he doesn't really understand. He could probably be convinced that he has bigger things to worry about in Hadriel than a few humans getting high, though.

like I mentioned, she won't... say that it's her intention to bake weed into things ofc. in fact, she might just swing it as like hey!! we're both learning how to cook, let's do that together!! don't worry about this ingredient, it's totally just a normal spice from home!!!

Haha, oh Rosie. Just a preemptive warning that Glacius detests dishonesty and would not be pleased about being tricked into helping traffic drugs, so if we go that route there is the potential that things might veer towards negative CR. I don't imagine that it would be anything as serious as "he hates her and will never forgive her", but he might get huffy and brusque for a time. We'll see!

Either way, it should be interesting lol.

I'd love for these two to talk again, and/or Alphys will def need help when the Null come storming in, haha. They're so cute!

Yesss excellent, he'd definitely want to help her out since she's been so sweet and has gone so far as to trust him with the title of friend. And he needs to express his sympathy for her losing Marian, so! Let's plan on them meeting up.

Glacius is... probably not going to get that just because of how Marian was with him but he will TRY HIS HARDEST TO HELP. You've been good to him Alphys, he's gonna return the favor! Any plans with her that I can drop him into, or should we just plan on doing a thread during the Null invasion or something along those lines?

Glacius is going to be so perplexed. Alphys wtf u talkin bout the gods try to kill you almost every month!! He's always so vexed when people defend them, he's not fond of either the Null or the Gods haha. In any case sounds good! We can plan to do something then!

I have three charas I can offer and I'm not sure who to suggest first because I think it'd be fun for all of them to be friends with someone who doesn't look human! They'd all be interested and accepting about it too, once they got some questions out of the way. They're all between the ages of 10 and 15 so chances of at least two of them getting into trouble is decent lol.

Whoever you think would work best, man! I always like getting to play Glacius with younger folk as it lets the gentle giant side come out of him more easily, so this sounds like fun. ;w;
