About Them: Angus is an 11-year-old boy detective! No, really, back home he used to solve murders and hunt down serial killers for a living. He's a ridiculously polite little nerd who likes solving mysteries and studying magic, and he is both whip-smart and gullible as hell when it comes to people goofing on him. He kind of sucks at being a kid, since he's spent most of his childhood working for a living and trying to make sure that his adult coworkers take him seriously. He tends to be a little skittish around other kids his age, especially ones who register as Big Kids, since he hasn't really interacted with any in months! Appearance-wise, Angus is short, scrawny, has floofy hair and big round glasses, and generally dresses like an old-timey grandpa, complete with sweatervests, bowtie, kneesocks, a newsboy cap, and a little fancylad jacket. He also keeps his magic wand on a lanyard around his neck.

Notable CR: He tends to stick pretty close to his TAZ castmates, but he's slowly getting to know other people around here! Richie and Ellie in particular are really skewing his idea of what Big Kids are like, and he's taken an immediate liking to Dr. Brennan.

Current Plans: Trying to get through the Null thing unscathed! He isn't on the hit list, but he's pretty freaked out because wow, someone poisoned Ellie and other people here are totally willing to kill kids to further their goals! Not great, Hadriel! He's gonna want to start investigating things soon, too. Can't let those detective skills get rusty.

I was thinking about having him investigate the Ellie thing, but being able to straight-up ask the murder victim whodunnit afterwards makes things a lot easier. I am so up for him tracking down Malkus!

One of my characters Ty is 15 but he's obsessed with detective stuff so if he found out Angus was interested in that too, he'd latch onto him like a sponge lol. He used to follow violent crimes on the internet back home because it interested him, so he'd probably ask all sorts of questions about cases Angus has done before.

As for just kids in general, I also have a normal-ish ten year old!

Oh jeez! I'm so sorry for dropping off the face of the earth and not replying to this, I got eaten alive by RL for about a week and a half there!

I am down for literally all of this, kids and detective enthusiasts alike, and I think Angus and Nico were even on the same team for the Squad event that just happened? Which I... 100% was not around for, oh man, sorry!
