Haha, yes good. If Yukari's good at voice recognition, maybe Atem could find out through him who it was. Or honestly if Atem demands to know who did it, Michael's going to confess, even if it's in private.

Nah he would keep them between just them two, although he already told Law that Yukari was killed. Atem would actually want to take justice into his hands more than just calling it revenge, because... idk, he wouldn't have killed Yukari if he could have helped it.

He would prefer to teach him a lesson via a Shadow Game (but he'd need permission from this castmate to use the thing that allows him to do that) and if Michael gets killed because of it he wouldn't care but that would be up to you. (sorry took me a while to reply to this because i didn't have that part of my permissions post ready i recommend reading the penalty games link see if you get interested in that)

Michael is terrible at games, the only games he plays are like... animal crossing... so I mean even beyond the fact that he's facing Atem this is a lost cause for him unless the game is luck-based. That doesn't mean I'm not down for it, though. I'd prefer not to kill him in the next few days, as I already made plans for him, but if you want this to happen later, then that's back on the table.

I will say, though, that he might not put up much of a fight. He goes through a whiplash cycle of self-justification and self-loathing in the wake of a murder, so he might be in the mindset that he deserves whatever's coming to him. The Visitor, however, does not have such reservations, and will want to defend its host if he's in mortal danger. I can finagle it so that it doesn't come into play, since ultimately Michael has to allow it, if we'd prefer to keep that complication out.

SO that aside, did you have any games/punishments in mind?

I was actually thinking something having to do with The Visitor. I'm hoping Yukari tells him about that somehow. How would it be if Michael felt what it does to its victims? He would not die, but hmm THAT MIGHT HURT IDK and it would be more than a shock I guess.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I read Michael isn't exactly aware of it yet?

Another I was thinking maybe Atem could "Mind Crush" him, sealing The Visitor or something alike, anything is possible tbh.

Michael is fully aware of the Visitor and what it's capable of; when it's done doin its thang, he gets treated to some nice 1st-person POV of what it was up to (though it's usually jumbled up and doesn't make a lot of sense). And I mean, the first time he was in the room. So... splash zone...

That would be interesting though! Making him feel the monster-death. It... wouldn't really change anything, but it sure would mess him up for a while. Unless it was literally Atem somehow turning the Visitor against him. That would mess him up Real Bad, since losing control of it is one of the things he fears most.

Alternately, if we went the Mind Crush route, would that mean sealing the Visitor completely, or just so that it can't manifest? Because the first one would be overall good for him (even if he'd have mixed feelings) while the second one would drive him fucking nuts.

OH I didn't see the mummy part. WOW that would be un-fun for him, particularly if it involved restraint (and I assume it would since... mummies...) Being restrained is something of a trigger for him, so I'll be upfront in that this scenario would be potentially CR-destroying.

It can be anything you want to do with Michael, my dude.

In canon Atem Mind Crushes a castmate and metaphorically breaks his mind/heart into pieces in order to make him a better person and the part filled with evil is destroyed (he goes into a coma and he has to put his mind together like in a puzzle, when he's done, he wakes a different person, well not different just not evil anymore). So if you want that part of him sealed or even gone, it can be done.

Think about it! Lemme know what route you wanna take because as I see them all of these are ...very character changing (...that's what he does in canon so oops) i mean... can Michael be canon updated so the Visitor comes back if you want?

Besides I'm in no rush for this to happen like in a span of days, we can give it some time.

Hmmmm I do think it would be interesting for him to lose it for a while. If it was just sealed in him and unable to appear, the Visitor would just drive Michael to do the dirty work instead, which would also be interesting, but I'm not sure that's Atem's goal.

If it was gone or silent, on the other hand, it would be kind of a mixed blessing. He wouldn't be pressured to kill people anymore, but he'd also have to deal more fully with the things he's done on its behalf in the past. And also, I mean, the Visitor is literally a part of him, so losing it would feel Bad. It would destabilize him for a while, since he's gotten used to it and, weirdly enough, it's been the main thing keeping him going for a couple years.

As for getting it back, that's entirely possible even without a canon update. Because of the way his magic works, all it would take is a building doubt that it's actually gone, or a strong enough desire to have it back. Which would still take a while, because he'd be pretty messed up from losing it to start with. It would come back slowly, in other words.

ANYWAY this was a lot of thinking out loud, but I think overall I like the "silencing or destroying the Visitor temporarily" route.
