You know how in yearbooks people get nominations like 'most likely to succeed' or 'most athletic' or whatever? Well, Hadriel doesn't have a yearbook, but that doesn't mean nominating people isn't still fun.

✔ Other characters respond ICly with the titles/awards that they think are most fitting, from 'best hair' to 'annoying but cute' to 'angriest posts on the network for no good reason'. The more ridiculous the better, honestly.

[Oh, and Glacius just looks absolutely tickled by that reaction, if the way his cheekbones are lifting enough to crinkle the flesh around his eyes.] Oh no, I don't think that's true at all. Would you like me to elaborate on the reasons why? [Yes, still teasing. He really should let up, shouldn't he?]

[Alright, yes, whenever Carlisle goes from flustered to genuinely embarrassed it stops being amusing. Glacius' grinning softens to a more reassuring smile as he tries to soothe his partner.] Of course. Just... you know it's nothing to be embarrassed about, right? I... like the way you react during.

[But he won't say anything else on the subject, as he has just promised not to!]

[There's something about the fact that Glacius insists it's nothing to be embarrassed about that seems to make him burn even more.

He doesn't manage a real reply, but rather mumbles something about a pamphlet as his head bows.]

Sorry, what was that?

[A little louder this time, trailing off.]

I don't want Kate to shove another pamphlet under our door.

Oh, don't let it bother you too much, my love. Kate was just poking a bit of fun. Or... who knows. Maybe she's jealous of all the, ehm... "action" you are getting. You know how people in this cave can be.

You know which part. I--I am sorry about the teasing, by the way. I... suppose that I did not think you would take it quite so hard if it was done in a fond and complimentary manner, but. Perhaps I should have known.

It- it's not the teasing as much as the- as the subject matter. You should know how it is I feel, shouldn't you?

Well, yes, and I do... but... [Glacius sighs a little, wondering if Carlisle is beginning to think him needy. Now it's his turn to mumble, uncharacteristic of such a normally well-spoken being.] Sometimes I just like to hear it.

[Carlisle tilts his head, rubbing at the back of his neck. They will work on this, one day.]

It- it does make me happy, Glacius. You make me happy, happier than I thought myself capable.

[If the alien is being perceived as needy in some regards, at least the flip side is that he's easily pleased; he relaxes somewhat, smiling with quiet relief and fondness as Carlisle reassurances him.] Thank you. It... is nice to hear that. You make me happy too, so I suppose I just want to be sure that... I am properly returning all that you do for me.
