Welcome to another combo meme! This meme is one parts my modified version of the hearts meme, and another part the tl;dr CR meme.

Comment with your characters.

tl;dr that you didn't ask for but are gonna get anyway:

Cecily was Dorian's best friend even before they got here, and being in Hadriel has only made their friendship more important to him. Partly that's because he's without what few support structures he had in Thedas, partly it's because of the traumatizing shit they've gone through. He wouldn't say that they've gotten closer, because he thinks they were already pretty close, but he certainly was never put in the position of having to help her dig her lover up, or having to mercy-kill her so she wouldn't eat people. That shit's harsh, man.

But he is glad she's here. If Dorian had to face all of this alone - well, he'd probably be able to, he's been through a lot, but he'd definitely be barely holding himself together. At least they can chill and have friendly chats sometimes, instead of it all being life and death. That'll keep him sane for awhile longer. Maybe. What they REALLY need is to find more alcohol and get properly wasted and yell at books in the library.

I can't really tl;dr because they haven't talked much yet, but Dorian finds Julia so intriguing - he really doesn't know what's up with her and that interests him, because that's the kind of nerd he is. He'd love to talk to her more and try to figure her out. And he's always SUPER interested in other people's magic.

Dorian has been quite pleased to discover that Henry is a pleasant sort of man to be around - perhaps he is not as light-hearted as Dorian himself, but as that's mainly an act anyway, it doesn't bother him much. Outside of his friends from home, Dorian hasn't created too many new bonds, because he's better at keeping this superficial when he doesn't know how long he'll be around or who to trust. But while he wouldn't go so far as to call Henry a friend (actual friendship being very rare for Dorian), he certainly enjoys the conversations they've had and the assistance Henry has given him.

He wouldn't at all mind chatting a bit more and getting to know him better, and perhaps helping each other out now and then. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Henry's easy on the eyes - Dorian would never do anything about that, out of caution, but he can enjoy the view. Nothing wrong with that.

Ha! It's probably the only thing easy about Henry, tbh. Call it compensation for having to deal with him.

Despite Rainier's awful fashion sense and general uncoolness, Dorian considers him a friend and ally, even if he would never admit that in polite company. He knows that Rainier is reliable and driven to make up for his past, and it's not something that Dorian holds against him, particularly. He has plenty of other things to hold against Rainier (that beard!) and is generally not the type to condemn a man for his past.

He certainly trusts Rainier more than enough to fight alongside him and guard his back, and even finds him not completely unpleasant to spend time with, occasionally. Yet more things he would never admit.
