Welcome to another combo meme! This meme is one parts my modified version of the hearts meme, and another part the tl;dr CR meme.

as promised, tl;dr!! I love these two already, gosh.

In a nutshell, Lilith feels really comfortable around Maketh, which is super surprising to her! Maketh's estimation of her is pretty much accurate: although she's a mercenary type who definitely takes pleasure in being one, Lilith always gets the job done. And though Maketh's day to day is almost certainly nothing like what she does for a living, she seems to also know very well that when shit hits the fan, you have to do whatever it takes. She respects a person with a good head on their shoulders. (She's a bit concerned about whether it'll be enough which is really morbidly funny because all the wendigo stuff happened while Lilith wasn't paying attention to Maketh, OOPS... but for now she's pretty well assured that Maketh is going to be longterm okay.) In her line of work you HAVE to know the people you work with won't die on you or stab you in the back for your bounty, and Maketh has so far proven trustworthy enough that neither feel like an issue.

Lilith's also super pleased about her respect getting reciprocated. The way that she warmed up to her fellow Vault hunters was, uh, massive disrespect that slowly ebbed away as they consistently kept each other alive, but with Maketh? She's taken seriously immediately. Lilith loves that. It's a breath of fresh air for someone else to be as excited about her abilities as she is, especially since they're 1) very different people and 2) only recently acquainted. It's a good feeling that translates to overall good vibes surrounding Maketh.

Lastly, she really, really wants to break Maketh's professional face. Lilith is infamously bad at feelings so she's not going to be good at unpacking Maketh's front to THAT level, but drinking together and being casual-- she can do. And on that note Lilith's down for shots. She's no lightweight either, soooo... unstoppable force meets immovable object...
