Welcome to another combo meme! This meme is one parts my modified version of the hearts meme, and another part the tl;dr CR meme.

Comment with your characters.

You're getting tl;dr because FEELINGS.

So Chris is totally in love with her. It's weird for him to think of it that way since they're both really young and he's not exactly the experienced in relationships type, but he's really sure that's what it is. That said he'd probably still be doing the whole 'just friends' thing if not for the night on the mountain, which is kind of the worst way ever to start dating; fortunately he feels so strongly about her that it overrides all the possible horrible associations that could've been caused by how they actually confessed.

Beyond all the romance stuff though he cares just as strongly about her as a friend, and just loves spending time with her. He trusts her entirely and wants the best for her, and would and will do anything he has to to protect her. He's really torn right now between trying to hide things that are wrong in order not to worry her, and being honest with her and treating her like an equal; he knows the latter is the right thing to do, but he's really afraid of making things even harder on her than they already are here.

tl;dr he loves her all the much and wants to make everything as easy on her as possible here, but they're having really bad luck as far as staying out of horrible traumatizing experiences.
