Two quick points here as well:
1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

F E A R

SCENARIO ONE: OOZES GEOMETRICALLY
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

The only warning you may get is the squish slick sound of movement before a gelatinous cube is upon you. Leaving gross trails behind them and with their see-through bodies filled with the bones of those that they've dissolved in their jelly, these cubes have no real vulnerability other than their limited movement.

Gelatinous cubes are exactly what it says on the tin, giant translucent cubes of jelly whose main attack tactic seems to be cornering people in small hallways and just sort of absorbing them into its mass. They then digest all meat and flesh and leave only floating bones and various metals their victim may have been wearing stashed inside of their jiggling forms.

Maybe it's time to apologize for the last time you brought a jelly mold to a potluck.]

SCENARIO TWO: MY LOYAL SERVANTS
[Thanks for your service to the gods! In order to power each of them up, it's up to you to pick a deity you like most (or dislike least, as it were) and simply say their name in order to be influenced by them and encouraged to inspire their emotion in others!

What, you don't want to play? Too bad, accidental name calling works just as well, even if you didn't mean to incite them- you'll feel their presence pulling their chosen emotion out in you anyway. Hope you picked a good one!

C O N F U S I O N

SCENARIO THREE: I MISS GPS
[Sure, you might be a little confused at being here at first, but that generally goes away within a few days. This time... well, this time, that feeling of befuddlement isn't quite going away. Roads that you take seem to disappear behind you when you turn around, your right turns are left turns on the map you're following, and you're pretty sure that everyone except for you put their shirt on backwards this morning.

Is everyone high? What they're saying makes absolutely no sense to you. You can't find your way out of a paper bag, let alone back to where you've been staying lately. Is that a dog or is it an eldritch horror coming up to lick at your calves?

During this prompt, everything will feel off and it can be very difficult to get your bearings at all. That's Confusion for you!]

[He looks both ways before kicking down a door. Sure he could have used the handle but kicking it is so much more fun.]

There we go. Much better.

[A much bigger room with a door at the other end and windows up top to indicate that they might actually be able to get outside from here.]

[If they can squeeze under doors anyway there seems to be little point to leave it in-tact. At least this way they can see it coming. Once in the room he deactivates his bayard to have both hands free.]

Keith, Paladin of Voltron.

[As in, his own name and sorta title.]

Are the goo cubes common here?

No, but weird monsters sure are.

[You are just lucky he's from middle of nowhere Montana and has no idea what a Voltron is because his satellite internet is terrible and he gets Netflix at about 480p.]

How are you doing that thing with your arm?

What thing?

[Because see his mentor actually does have a robot arm - well, did, so that's where Keith's mind first goes to. It's a few seconds later that he realizes that Pratt doesn't mean that.]

That's my bayard.

[He holds it out to show Pratt, now that it's in its dormant state - looking okay, but no touchy.]

It changes into a sword when I need it to.

It's a what?

[That's a term he's never heard of before. He eyes the thing, not understanding how it worked at all. But unfortunately now is not the time to get into a complex discussion about weaponry as there's a telltalle squishing noise coming from where they just were.]

Nevermind. A sword would be helpful if it gets close enough.

Though... If you slice it up it may turn into a hundred little cubes that are all after us.

[Keith frowns, making a shushing motion to Pratt as he goes to the other door running as quickly and silently as he can to listen at it, to try and hear if there's anything on the other side. Nothing, but when Keith goes for the handle it doesn't budge. Locked. It doesn't look like it's made of anything stronger than wood though so his bayard is back into sword form, held at the ready in case the door needs to be knocked down. Right now being quiet and still seems to be the best option in hopes the jelly passes them by.]

[Pratt follows behind, sledgehammer at the ready to squish some more goo should it start following them. The thing doesn't even have eyes so he's not sure how it's finding them.

He watches the door, almost holding his breath as the greenish gloopy cube slides into view. But it keeps on gooping down the hall, the squelching noise fading as it gets further away.]

Good. Let's get out of here.

[He got the last door, this one is all yours.]

[Slashing the door would be easy enough, but he doesn't want to make enough noise for the jelly to come back. So with great care he instead wedges the tip of his sword between the door and the frame by the lock and neatly snaps the locking mechanism off.

He ducks his head in to make certain the coast is clear before he gestures for Pratt to go ahead. He theoretically knows where he's going here. More than Keith does anyway.]

[Clever. He would have bashed through it because when you have a sledgehammer, all problems look like they need smashing.

He slides in front of Keith, leading the way because he does actually know where he's going. A few more turns and he's found a door leading outside. It's probably not the outside that Keith is expecting as it leads to a giant dilapidated colosseum with a dirt floor and everything.]

At least we can see them coming from a mile away out here.

Actually... I haven't seen any outside yet, maybe they disintigrate if they get touched by light.

[At this point all Keith is expecting is to likely be surprised by this situation he's found himself in. He frowns at the sight of the colosseum rather than an actual outside, fenced in as they are, but Pratt is right - they'll be able to see an attack coming.]

That would be convenient. Vampire jellies.

Yeah, too convenient. So they're probably just finding lots to eat indoors and haven't ventured out here yet.

Though.. maybe you would have been okay. That's some armor you have on.

It's survived everything else thrown at it so far. Haven't tried sentient jelly yet.

[Though it also doubles as a space suit so maybe.]

First time for everything.
