Welcome to Hadriel's test drive, and thank you again for your interest in the game! As always, our reserves page is here, and our applications page is here! Reserves open September 24th, and apps are open October 1st. Please remember that there is an app cap of 20 apps.

Two quick points here as well:

1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

F E A R

SCENARIO ONE: GET YOUR RED CAPE READY
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

You don't want to ride them- someone already tried that. Near you is a horselike beast, one without any fur or skin or anything that might make it more palatable. It's a Nuckelavee, a Nordic mythological creature which terrorizes the Northern Isles.

This demonic creature seems to embody that of a man merged with a horse- but not in the cute centaurian way. They are natural swimmers and emerge from the deep to drag their prey down into the water with them- so terrible that even the scent of their breath can sap you of all will to live. Better hold your own breath and look out!]

L O V E

SCENARIO TWO: GET YOU SOME
[You don't know where you are or where you're going- or what you're even doing in this strange city on the ocean- but you do know that you need someone by your side to make it better. Even if you don't know them, even if you hate them, there's something comforting to having another person so close to you.

Closer.

Physical contact with another person seems to put your mind completely at ease, erasing all of your worries and doing better for your mind than a hundred meditation sessions. So it's time to get friendly, even if you're not really that friendly of a person in the first place.

This is a mini version of our A Little Touchy Feely event this month.]

SCENARIO THREE: 15 MINUTES LATE WITH
[Good news! Love has decided that since other liquids seem to be all the rage amongst you humans and they somehow learned about Earth agricultural crops, they've decided to open up a coffee shop!

Here's the space to live out all of your coffee shop AUs in a Hadriel setting! With a storm brewing over the island and a merry pink glowcloud somehow creating caffeinated drinks on the spot when you order them, get ready to tuck in and get nice and cozy for a few minutes.

But uh-oh! Your name is misspelled! Or it's someone else's name entirely, but it's your drink. Or something about your order is wrong- whatever the case, Confusion definitely wouldn't just stand around and let Love have their fun. Somehow, everything is wrong in this poor coffeeshop... what are you going to do about it?]

[Last time Weiss checked, she was sure she had been captured at a bandits’ camp. Last thing she knew, she had summoned a mini knight to cut her roped cuffs. A few minutes earlier, she swore she was still in Remnant, causing chaos at said camp in an effort to get away from here. Yet, once she looks up after getting her sword?

She sucks in her breath. Great, good!! Least she wasn’t captured anymore, but this place wasn’t exactly better! Especially with a creature that may as well look like it came straight out from her world. And she’s not about to try fighting it any time soon; the moment the Nuckelavee sets its sights on her, she starts running as fast as the glyphs glowing on the bottom of her feet can take her.]

[Thank god there’s coffee here! Admittedly also a little surprising too, but it’s one comfort she can’t live without.

The misspelling and wrong orders, which has been twice she’s asked to change for the correct one that she still hasn’t gotten, on the other hand...]

‘Nice Sneeze’? Really?? [Her brows furrow and her lips purse into a tight frown.] Is there a manager around here??

[look, he doesn't care about anything but coffee right now. Coffee coffee coffee coffee come to him. So he just gives the complainer a deadpan look]

Well, they should, if they want to stay in business! A shop starting up shouldn't make this many mistakes!

[Weiss huffs a bit as she crosses her arms and leans over a bit.]

But, since you seem to be so okay with this, then what does your cup say?

Nothing.

[he's extremely quick to snap that out and turn his hand so that any scribbles on his cup are hidden. Nope nope check out the tattoos instead they're way cooler than the cup.]

It's not important. Just be glad there's coffee, we've been dealing without it for so long.

[HMMM. Though she raises a brow and squints for a moment, she won't press the issue. Whatever might have been on the cup, it was probably too embarrassing, she thinks.]

Sounds like it must have been way too long. How did everyone even manage?

[yeah, he knows how it looks. Pretending there's no problem is just par for the course.]

Not well. Any little bit that came as a gift from the gods or whatever has been hoarded like treasure. I haven't had any in about two months. The headaches were not fun.

[ She's tearing up. HER BFF is real. ]

I mean....Nice Sneeze. Yeah!!!! I think it kinda fits, don't you? There's a NICE ring to it.

[ Ruby is already dead. ]

[Weiss's mouth drops a bit and wonders for a moment if it might be a dream. It's been so long since she's seen any of her teammates, she honestly wants to straight up hug her!!]

No, no it's not.

[There goes the Schnee™ frown. Not even one minute and already she's done, gg Rubes.]

I highly doubt a sneeze is anything but nice, nor is it ever a good descriptor for someone.

WEISS!!! My BFF IS REAL!!!!!!! I MISS YOU!!

[It feels like it's been forever since they last met. Team RWBY split up and she's been so sad over it. Ruby's going to run in for a hug whether Weiss likes it or not. THAT'S JUST HOW SHE GOES..]

Reunited at last!

['Don't hug me, you dolt!'. 'Didn't you listen to what I said?!'. Either of those things her old self would have shouted. Heck, even right now, the urge to frown further rises a bit.

But, she won't. The warmth from Ruby overcomes her, and tears prick at the corner of her eyes as she lets out a choked sob between her words.]

...me too.

[Weiss's arms wrap around Ruby, returning the hug with an even tighter one.]

I missed you so, so much...!

[redlikerose]

I was so worried about you! When I heard you went back to your father I was frantic.

[ Now she's crying too. She's never letting go of Weiss again!! ]

Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?

[ lbr Ruby's hug is probably like a choke hold so it might hurt. Stop. ]

[All the more reason for Weiss to keep holding onto her. Who cares if it hurts or not, she's with her friend! And nothing to separate them this time!!]

Aside from a few scratches and bruises, not really. Unless you want to factor emotional pain, then it might be a long while.

Oh....! Nothing's perfect, but we have to make the most of it.

[Yeah, Ruby's scared something might happen if she lets go so she's holding on Weiss with great intent.]
