Two quick points here as well:
1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

SCENARIO ONE: JUST A SNACK
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

Or monsters, as the case may be. It seems like the Door has decided to grace Hadriel with a small invasion of Fallen Angels, from the mobile game Food Fantasy. You might run into a Hamstero or a Forker, a Fanged Snail or a Purple Dumpling. Actually they're mostly... kind of cute.

But still dangerous, so watch your back! These Fallen Angels can really hurt. They go down pretty easy, but there are a lot of them, and they're happy to hit you with claws and teeth and whatever other weapons they have. Sadly, they will not let you hug them.

SCENARIO TWO: SOULMATES
[You look down, and all of a sudden you see something new: a name on your wrist, inscribed as if it's always been there. Maybe you recognize the name, maybe you don't - maybe you're happy to see it, or not at all. But it's there, and you can't wash it off, and you kind of want to know what's up with it.

So why not go looking for whoever the name belongs to? There aren't too many folks in the city, they can't be that hard to find. And when you do find them, prepare for the best new friend/lover/family member you've ever met. You'll get along like a house on fire - until the name on your wrist fades away.

This is a mini version of our Soulmates event this month.]

SCENARIO THREE: SCRATCH-OFF
[In your hand there's a ticket. Scratch off the boxes, see if you win - it's a pretty straightforward concept. But the prize is the one thing you want most in the world, and if you can just scratch off the right boxes, maybe you'll get it!

The other prizes are... less enticing. Do you really need a whole turkey, or a new dishwasher, or a lifetime supply of hair removal strips? Maybe you do. But it's that big prize, that golden ticket, that you're hoping for. So scratch away, or find a buddy to help you choose the boxes, or find someone else with a ticket to compare yours to.

Let's just hope you don't run into someone who actually has won the prize... because after all, what's stopping you from just taking it?]

[... Xion just stares at the woman before her, trying to catch that fleeting feeling of familiarity again, but... She can't. It's just not there anymore. She shakes her head, but...]

I don't think so... But... It feels like I should. [She makes an unsure face.] Just a bit.

[Aqua's heart is caught between suspicious and confusion. Something is very wrong here, this could be another illusion. Her palm itches, but...she could never draw her Keyblade on Ven. Or on anyone who looks like him. Still, she steels herself.]

Who are you? Why do you look like my friend?

[Xion watches Aqua, but her shoulders tense at those words. She looks like someone? But... She should look only like her, shouldn't she? She's full on frowning now.]

I'm Xion. I don't know why I'd look like your friend, though.

But you do. Exactly like him.

[Minus the voice.]

Why do you sound like a girl?

[She's still frowning at that, and now she looks entirely confused.]

Because... I am a girl? [... Not that she knows the complete difference between boys and girls, but she thinks it's a safe assumption that she's a girl? She feels like a girl. Or as much as she can feel like anything, anyway.]

Sorry, I don't know who you're talking about though.

[Aqua tilts her head, unable to hide her confusion. What in the world.]

You're not. You look just like my friend, Ventus--short, messy blonde hair, a boy.

Can you not see yourself?

[... Uh.]

I don't look anything like you're saying, miss. I have short black hair...

[...uh. Aqua opens her mouth to argue, then rubs at her eyes because why not.

Well, that didn't help.]

No. You don't.

[ Tentatively, Xion pulls a lock of her own hair in front of her own eyes.

It's still black. ]

It... Is? Are you feeling alright, miss?

[Aqua lets out a long breath.]

No. No, I'm not.

Oh. Um. [Xion gently presses her own hands together wringing them slightly in a show of nerves. That's... not good.]

I know healing magic... D'you think that'd help?

[She lets go of one of her hand, offering it out to the other woman tentatively in her offer.

Jeeze... She must not be feeling alright if she thinks that she looks like this friend of hers, though the description does sound a lot like Roxas, honestly. But... surely there's more boys out there with messy blond hair than him! It's just that she doesn't know that many people, really.]

[Quickly, Aqua lifts a hand, waving him—her?—off.]

No, I...no. Thank you.

Oh... Alright, I guess.

[She lets her hand drop to her side. But now the fact remains that she's not sure what she should be doing with this woman now that her offer has been declined.

She rubs her arm uselessly, ticket still forgotten in her hand.]
