About Them: Mello is a genius orphan, was raised to follow in the footsteps of the world's greatest detective L, and flounced to become a criminal mastermind when he didn't get the title rather than share it with his bitter rival, a puffball named Near. He is not the most mature dude. He is, however, extremely smart, very good at strategic thinking, and likely to let his poor life choices be informed by his emotions. He trusts basically none of you, because what is trusting other people.

Mello dresses like a teen mallgoth (i.e., all black leather) and has a nasty-looking burn scar of he left side of his face/neck because guess who blew up his hideout a few months back! Yep, this guy here. You can have his sunglasses when you pry them out of his cold, dead hands.

Notable CR: He is brand new, so the only really notable CR he's formed is with Ai Ebihara (outermirrors). They get on each others' nerves, BIG TIME.

Current Plans: Mello is in Investigation Mode, busy figuring out what's what and settling in. He'll have dreams for Fear and Rage in the dreamshare event but probably not Hope or Delight because hollowlaugh.wav.

CR you're looking for: ALL OF IT. Please. Neutral-to-negative CR is gonna be the easiest because Mello is kind of a person suit and only really values people for what they can do for him, but positive CR will be possible ... eventually. Allies, enemies, informants ... bring me everything, really.

Notes: Honestly though have you ever seen a dude eat chocolate like this before:

Ai would find how he eats chocolate impressive if he didn't annoy her so much. (Also good luck making that bar last. :P)

Maybe he's actually an insect person and thus isn't warm-blooded. That would also explain why he's never uncomfortably sweaty in all leather and a jacket.
