About Them: a sharp-shooting space marine that has a tendency to adopt people he comes across and finds he likes, even more of a tendency to mother hen the people that he's closest to. he has a degree in cleaning up his twin sister's messes and playing conscientious objector to anyone that needs one – oh, and he can sometimes be a sarcastic little shit. but that's only if he's comfortable with you. otherwise it's manners for days.
Notable CR: he just arrived, so he hasn't had much of a chance to fraternize just yet.
Current Plans: no current plans for this one either, since he's still getting used to the place in general. though i will say that any dreams he has during the event are probably going to be heavily project freelancer oriented, because at his current canonpoint things have just gone to hell in a handbasket and he worries about the friends that got left behind when he got pulled into hadriel.
CR you're looking for: ANYTHING. he has a genuinely nurturing nature, so anybody he can end up either fussing over or taking under his wing for whatever reason. anybody he can bro it up with. just basically give me everything.

for all my years in the fandom ive honestly never gotten to play with a cast that much, and york's pretty brand new to me so i've never gotten to play that kind of thing out with him definitely. EXCITEMENT ALL AROUND! and look eh had really good reasons okay.

rambling mode: engage. tbh im always kind of confused on how much north knew at that point during breakin, do you have any headcanon for that? i have a few ideas floating around in my head but i never really settled on one, like i always wondered if maybe york had bothered to actually tell north /something/ before the whole thing went down, if not much.

also york's probably going to be at least a little irrationally upset at north bc he has theta and HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS TINY ROBOT FRIEND HERE DAMN IT

whenever i've had north in a game, the most i've ever gotten is south - and only because i know one personally, lmfao - and the only game i ever had york in, he had nobody. and he was there for like ... three years. it's lonely not having a cast, sometimes.

i don't have any specific headcanon about how much he knew - but i do like to think that north and york were good enough friends that, if york were to decide to do something as drastic as that, he would have at least mentioned it in passing. and maybe north would have tried to talk him out of it, because he'd be ~abandoning their cause~ or something equally boyscout-ish, even though by that point he's really beginning to wonder if he's doing the right thing.

that matches up well with how i usually like to look at it! like york def was always pretty open about talking to north about the ~questions~ he has about freelancer and how he's not too sure they're on the right side, sometimes, so i imagine either he mentioned it in passing or like the day before shit went down york either just told him or very strongly hinted that something was going to happen. he'd appreciate north trying to talk him out, like he gets it, buddy, but naw, he's made up his mind, and he'd try to press that north might want to think a little harder about what it is they're all doing.

psh unless i am really invested in a game, it seems like the shelf life tends to be around six months. i've been in a few games over the years that i've stayed in longer than that, but eh, sometimes you just gotta say bye felicia.

oh i'm glad it does! i always worry a little bit, telling people my headcanon for certain things especially if the other person says they have some of their own. ( i worry about dumb stuff ok. ) now that i think about it, north might not try to talk him out of it so much as try to understand where he's coming from with the decision, especially if he mentions tex outright. it would be incredibly confusing to him, but you know he always tries to see every side before he makes any sort of judgment. urf. kid's gonna kill me one of these days.

friends are still friends even they aren't robot friends ... and one of those friends is being a grumpy gus. HE'LL COME AROUND EVENTUALLY ... maybe. if we're lucky. this just means york and north need to drag wash out for a boys' night or something. loosen him up a little.
