About Them: Don't be intimidated by Glacius' fierce visage and intimidating size--he is actually not as hostile as he looks! He's wary of humans initially (his first interaction with them after landing on Earth involved them taking him prisoner and subjecting him to great cruelty), and recent events in Hadriel have exacerbated that somewhat but as long as you prove that you aren't a threat to him or his people, he should warm up to you eventually. He's curious, so he's likely to ask your character plenty of questions about the setting, or about their origins or homeworlds once he does get over his initial suspicions. And, should you actually befriend him-- prepare to have a very powerful ally at your side. Glacius has a fiercely loyal streak underneath his icy, level-headed personality, and is an extremely good fighter who won't hesitate to put his powers to use to protect those he cares about.
Notable CR: As he is still relatively new to the game, Glacius does not have any staunch allies that he frequently hangs out with yet! He has, however, spent some time with Nick, Rey, Carlisle, and Pell.
Current Plans: Glacius has had it fairly rough this past month; the Assassin event caused old concerns about the brutality of human nature to rear their ugly heads, and gave him a nasty guilt complex as well. I would love to have him gradually start bouncing back from that; opportunities where he has to rely on other and where he can prove himself to be gentle and compassionate will be key here. More casual stuff is great too, of course; anyone who encounters him and is willing to show him around the city and get more comfortable with the thought of living among humans would go a long way! As far as the Dreamwalker event goes, I plan on putting up at least one opener where your character can encounter Glacius in his past canon. Though he'll be a little wary of having all the horrible shit he went through thrust out into the open like that, it will at least help other characters understand him better, and could provide a good avenue into positive CR with him if you character showed him support or sympathy during or after.
CR you're looking for: Anything, honestly! I would love to have him make some close friends that gradually encourage him to come out of his shell during his stay in Hadriel, but some enemies to scuffle with and show off his powers would be fun too. Continuing to develop CR with anyone who has tagged him before is also high on my priority list!

So Emily needs to thank him, which would've happened immediately after the Rage event, but that was kind of a busy time for me. And so was the week after that. And this week. I'M SORRY. ;; I love their pillow fort meme thread and I absolutely want to do a sewing shop thread with him and Em, and shit maybe she'll even offer to make him a cape in game! I just love him and I'm not sorry.

I'll definitely look into your opener and see if I can find a way to toss him in there! And I'll let you know when the log is up; I'm figuring I'll likely do it after the dream event if that's alright, just because life is a little busy for me atm.

Yes I did! I was kind of thinking of making her a guard that eventually helps him break out? Idk if that would work for you but!

Yep, that definitely works out for me! If you want to do any reading on the corrupt megacorporation that she'd be working for (or pretending to work for), they're called Ultratech--very very powerful in Glacius' canon universe, responsible for doing a lot of messed up shit to him and a bunch of other people. I'll go into some more detail when I write the opener and we can always cooridnate via Plurk during the thread. :>b

Oh man, that would actually be super helpful, because as it is I don't think Glacius even goes into the city very often. Maybe he could help him pick out a living space that is not the extremely dangerous caves, but is still somewhat secluded or at least not as heavily populated? And just like. Teaching him about how things work in the city. I'd be up for all of that!

Sounds good to me! Nick needs to call the guy anyway, see what's going on. It's been a while since he saw Glacius, and the dude should be hard to miss walking around.

Oh yes certainly! Dropping a thread in his IC inbox is a good idea as far as kicking this off goes, giving them an excuse to meet up. I'll likely put up a log following the Dreamwalker event; after they chat for a bit I'll include a close starter for Nick if that works for you!

I'd be down for exploring CR with him! She's not too entirely freaked out - she saw that he's able to actually be a decent person so there's nothing really holding her back. She may joke about his appearance a few times but awkwardly apologize if he finds it problematic. She's actually pretty no-nonsense aside from these awkward mishaps!

Yess I am enjoying their first thread a lot (though I do apologize for my slowness there)! I would all be for pursuing CR with them; I'm totally fine with her joking about his appearance, people do that to him all the time, though of course his reaction will depend on just how nasty said remarks are. Either way he's very patient and level-headed so it would take a lot for him to just be like "alright that's it I'm out" so don't feel like you have to censor her!

How would you like to proceed? I may be putting up a catch-all log shortly depending on what people want, so I could either do an open option for that, or she could see his past in the Dreamwalker thread and learn about him that way. It'll likely be an nightmare about the brief period of time where he was wrongfully imprisoned and abused by Ultratech, which would give her an idea of why he can be so reclusive and generally wary of humanity.

Fiona's pretty much the ligh hearted no-nonsense-unless-its-her making the jokes. She wouldn't do anything overly cruel, so no worries there!

If you're putting a catchall, that would be aces. Seeing his dream would definitely give her some introspection to chew on about her views on him.

I'm hoping Fiona's dream would rely more on action and outrageous adventures (think Mad Max bandit racing tbh), so if you wanted to steer to that, I can tailor a scene for him too!
