Muwhahaha. Excellent. I like this idea. Maketh has this idea in her head that her Academy days were AWESOME and that everything that happened there is totally normal and fine. A misconception that must be crushed because hahaha selective ignorance what?

Yeeeeah, threatening to shoot someone isn't the best way to say hello. It can only go up from there?

Ooh, that could be interesting. Especially if Maketh got a chance to see what the Empire eventually became - she's going to be horrified if she finds out about Starkiller base.

Okay that's amazing since Hux is the exact opposite and hated. every. single. minute. of it. Schools not as cool when you're the Commandant's son. :/

NGL I can't really see Hux having too many nightmares about Starkiller. It's not like he's racked with guilt over his actions. I also kind of want to keep that on the DL for now because he would keep it on the DL. But yeah moreso than that he's just not the type to weep over murdering billions of people and he's prolly more upset it got blow'd up than mass genocide.

Nope, I can't imagine it would be. Maketh's coping mechanism was aggressively pretending everything was fine and then ignoring the stuff that wasn't. The only reason she survived the Academy at all was her mom calling in a bunch of favors, so a few of the instructors made sure Maketh didn't get knifed in her sleep. Seeing the Academy though someone else's perspective would really shake her.

Hmmm, good point. Though it wouldn't necessarily need to be a nightmare, since the event's going to have all sorts of dreams - good and bad. Still, Maketh is not going to take learning about the First Order well. At all.

There's so much potential with these two, I love it ^^

Should be very interesting, I'm definitely looking forward to this!

And honestly, the more I think about it, if Maketh is looking into Hux's dreams and he is just a super true believer in the First Order and believes in his heart of hearts that the Resistance and Republic are illegitimate then she's probably going to get some contradictory information from him. Sure, he's flanked by Stormtroopers but they are trying to bring peace to the galaxy in the face of deadly and violent Resistance attacks.

Cause he really does think that he's the good guy in this situation, that's how much he's bought into the propaganda.

Which makes it even more interesting, because that's very similar to the position she was in less than a year ago - flanked by storm troopers and trying to stomp out the rebels in the name of order and peace. She believed the propaganda up until very, very recently - even despite some pretty awful evidence to the contrary.

I agree, I think it's going to be zomg amazing. Because LBR Hux is not going to just give up his evil ways but I feel like Maketh is prolly the only person in Hadriel who has even the barest hint of what has shaped him and his worldview.
