Welcome to Hadriel's test drive, and thank you again for your interest in the game! As always, our reserves page is here, and our applications page is here! Reserves open July 25th, and apps are open August 1st.

Two quick points here as well:
1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

F E A R

SCENARIO ONE: WORKING TITLE
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

Watch out as you explore the streets of Hadriel, because you're not alone, and there's always something lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect chance to swarm around you and chow down. This time, the Door has brought in a few Working Joes, from the Alien: Isolation video game series.

Once simply androids meant for mundane jobs, working Joes have had their programming altered to isolate and eliminate threats onboard their ship- which they now believe to be Hadriel. Super strong, yet slow and plodding, an android may ask you for identification before throttling you when you don't have the right answer. They are quite sturdy and difficult to destroy without the right tools. Have fun!]

SCENARIO TWO: BEAUTIFICATION DUTY
[The city has always looked a little drab, but now with some tools from Hope, it's up to you guys to spruce it up a bit! Your character will find themselves in a shop filled with various paints, home improvement tools, window stickers, streamers, and various other items and tools used to improve the appearance of the neighborhood.

You're encouraged to add your own little flair to the project in order to improve living standards and make Hope the happiest god in the pantheon. So, what will you do? Paint a mural? Sweep up some rubble? Install a skylight! The cave is your oyster.

SCENARIO THREE: CRY ME A RIVER
[When you wake up in the morning, something feels... off. It feels like you just watched 20 ASPCA commercials in a row and then topped it all off with the first ten minutes of Up. You're beaten down, depressed, upset by all the horrific acts and trauma in the world, and it's enough to make you want to cry.

Turn on the waterworks, because Hadriel is about to have a shortage of tissues and everyone's getting dehydrated. You might run into your neighbor crying while you're scavenging for food, or you might just find that one whole asshole in the entire movie who isn't affected.

Either way, it's time to get some hugs, some kleenex, and maybe a little bit of chocolate. Happy... crying?]

[ She smiles before she can help it, and then pulls him into a tight hug, burying her face in his shoulder. He is gone. It's sinking in: this is all the time she'll have left before she's alone, but she'll jealously hoard every second. ]

[ Ah. He's surprised by the ferocity of the hug, but welcomes it all the same, wrapping his arms firmly around his sister, a hand in her hair at the nape of her neck. ]

What's the matter? Did you miss me?

[ He has always anchored her. This is not it — he would never joke about being apart if he knew. Again, this algebra, the terrible knowledge of the future. Wanda sews it shut and tosses it away, breathing synchronised with his, listening to his heart race. ]

Who else will sew my clothes?

I'm sure there is someone much better at darning your clothes than I am.

[ All it took was practice and the determination to keep his sister's clothes looking pristine. He'd forfeit the world for her to have nice things after everything they've been through.

He can sense that something's bothering her, but the truth will out eventually. Best let it lie for now. She tells him everything. ]

No one faster.

[ And no one better. She smiles wanly at him; her hand drops to squeeze his warmly. The world is less cruel with the two of them facing it together, and she can figure out how to tell the truth. If it ever needs to be out at all. There are no secrets between them, but the death of one is failure of both to stay together. ]

[ And he would disapprove of what she would do to bring him back. ]

I have been here a few months.

That, I am willing to admit.

[ It's frustrating, sometimes, but it's nothing that he would give back. This ability has made him that much closer to his sister, and he'd be nothing without their link.

He threads their fingers together, giving her hand a squeeze. ]

Months? It doesn't feel quite that long ago that I saw you..

[ His worry only increases. ] I'm sorry I left you for so long. It seems that I broke my promise.

[ She exhales slowly, feeling his perception twine with her own — the world slowing down. Seconds drag into minutes and minutes into lifetimes. He lives in a very lonely place. ]

You could not.

[ He would never. Not willingly, and she's not angry at Clint. He named his son after a man he barely knew. Every time anger seethes it dissolves instantly seeing that baby's face. ]

There are people here from our world, and many, many others. There is no telling who will be brought here, and what will come through the Door along with them.

[ It's not quite so lonely with his sister in his head, too. Of course, the world always seems more bearable with her. ]

I will have to make it up to you, in any case.

[ Pietro considers what Wanda says. Whatever happens to come through the Door, well, they'll handle it as they always have. Together. ]

Any familiar faces, then?

[ She squeezes his hand again then lets go. He stands still only for her. ]

Vision. Dr. Banner. Captain Rogers — he is from 1943. Do not ask, I don't know how. His friend, Barnes. Others may come, from different points in time. For me, we have already defeated Ultron.

[ He still hovers nearby, though it's always habit now. Occupying each other's space, mentally and physically. ]

That is unexpected.. [ Not so much Vision or Dr. Banner, but a Captain Rogers from 1943? This place truly is something else.

He brightens at the news she brings of Ultron. ]

There was no doubt in my mind that we would fail. This is good news.

[ She smiles. Yes they won, and Ultron took her brother from her, but he would say it was the right thing. The right thing. ]

Are you hungry?

[ Teasing: of course he is. He needs to eat a lot more now which means more trips to the shops. ]

There is chocolate.

[ It's best to listen to your big brother, Wanda. He knows best. Mostly. ]

Starving, actually.

[ He says this as if it's any sort of surprise. His ability consumes more energy than is fair. It's a good thing he enjoys eating. ]

Ah, the key to my heart. [ Pietro puts a hand to his chest. ]

[ Mostly. She's smiling before she realises it, then remembers to shake her head with fond exasperation. ]

If Newt has not already taken some for himself. This way.
