[Okay wow. Yeah, Chris is starting to think there's some major truth there, especially if he's being touchy about wording.]

Um, okay, noted. I mean, there's no shame in not liking spiders for... Whatever reason.

They serve a dark master. Always watching you with their many eyes, relaying information to her... [He... may also have a major misconception about what spiders actually are. All he knows is that he encountered them in the cave that a once-human assassin that he was tracking used as a hideout, so he actually thinks that they are her servants in some capacity.] Her actions callously risked the life of everyone on earth. I would spurn anyone or anything who allied themselves with her. So no, I am not ashamed of it.

I'm gonna uh... Assume that the spiders you encountered in your world or your universe's Earth or whatever are... Really different from the spiders I'm thinking of.

Oh, ah... perh...haps? These were... small arachnids with many legs and many eyes. They scuttle everywhere, out of crevices and down the walls, and many bundle things up in sticky webs. They come in all sorts of sizes too--the largest one towered above me, its fangs bigger than my spikes and its legs nearly as thick as my whole body. A nightmarish creature that guarded the cave that the assassin Sadira had constructed a hideout in. Due to the large congregation of spiders there, I suspect they were her servants and informants, spinning her a... web of information on her targets.

...Huh. Those um, sound like spiders, only the biggest ones in my world are like... I dunno, a foot across? Big but not that kind of big, and they're kind of... Not smart. I don't think they'd be able to report any sort of information to anyone.

[But you know what, who knows at this point. He could be told his world had faeries and bigfoot and he'd just give a disappointed shrug, because once you have wendigos anything's possible.]
