Ahhh, then your intuition has served you well! It is good to know that not everyone assumes I would destroy property with such little provocation. I was beginning to grow concerned.

It seemed a little too dramatic for you. [ She says with a shrug. ] And I doubt something like that stove could hurt you. Right?
glacius: (How do you expect me to know??)

I mean... not unless I laid face down on it while it was on, or something... which I don't plan on doing. So.

So you're safe. [ And she'd gotten the game right, which is fun. ] I wouldn't suggest you lie on a stove, either. I'm glad to hear it won't be happening anytime soon.
glacius: (Let me ponder that one.)

More or less, yes. [In truth it's a little more complicated than that, but he gets the feeling Cecily probably doesn't want to sit here and listen to all of the different ways heat-based appliances interact with his uniquely icy physiology.] At least I learned what it was before I turned it on or attempted to operate it. That would have been an unpleasant surprise.

Do you cook? I can somehow imagine you with glove and an apron, cooking.

[ What? It's a funny image! ]
glacius: (Wait that seems a little off.)

I hate to disappoint, but I'm not even entirely sure what that process entails, outside of heat exchange. As you might expect, my species does not utilize food preparation techniques that involve heat or fire, so it is a bit of a foreign concept to me. [And yet her mental image might not be far off--in another game, he became more adjusted to human culture and actually became a decent cook!]

It's mostly taking ingredients and transforming them into a meal. [ She states, by way of explanation. ] ... But, not everything needs heat for it to be edible.

[ beat ]

Can I ask - What does your species typically eat?
