how it works:
i. post a comment with the characters you play.
ii. go around and prompt other players with a 5 + 1 prompt (e.g. "Five times Hope said sorry and one time he didn't")
iii. write a fic for the prompts people leave you!
iv. enjoy your fic? we hope?

these are not in sequential timeline order
ii. the meteor shower was at 3 in the morning; by 2:45, Simon was fast asleep, head on her shoulder as they sat side by side on the balcony. she didn't have the heart to wake him for a handful of shooting stars that didn't shine nearly as bright as he did.
iii. the men are dressed in uniforms and their thoughts are a mad jumble of the lives they've ended through their decisions. one of them is talking about her, tilting her chin this way or that. they've given her sedatives to keep her calm, and she could just let herself slip away, but she stares into the man's soul instead. threatens him without a word.
iv. there's a brawl; Simon is concerned that she is even there, but it's not her fight. someone throws a particularly vicious punch; a man's teeth and not a little bit of blood go flying. "cover your eyes," Simon says, but she's too fascinated to look away.
v. the weightlessness of space might make him sick. the threat is there; she can feel his nausea like a shadow across her own stomach. but her mind is filled with wonder at the sight, at the feeling. there are so many stars.
one. sometimes she's just tired. being her, hearing, knowing, thinking, feeling...they all drain on what precious resources she has, and on those days, she pulls the blankets over her head until the light is blocked out, hides in her bed, and closes her eyes so Simon will think she's sleeping.
