About Them: Matt Murdock is a blind ninja lawyer who is a totally average guy and absolutely not super-powered in any way, promise. I mean, obviously that's not true but he likes to think so... actually he's working on telling his close CR about him having powers but he's still not super cool about sharing them because Hang Ups and Guilt are Matt's real friends. But besides all that... Matt really wants to be a good guy who helps people and since he has no law practice and no real bad guys to thwart here he's trying to stay sane by listening to the network and asking anons for advice. yay!
Notable CR: Matt lives with Connor and Jade and is close friends with Cashmere and Natasha (wow, check out that harem! Minus Jade, obviously, she's like twelve.) He needs to get out more... but he's also Daredevil, loner extraordinaire so he's actually not the best at making friends. (How many friends did you have in canon Matt? 2???) Having nothing better to do here though, I plan on having him open up a little more and at least troll the network for things to keep him busy. He also really enjoys punching people and things, so if that's something your character enjoys maybe we can punch things together. Can you say team-up?
Current Plans: Like I said above, Matt wants to Do Good and help people but he's trying to figure out... how. While still keeping his powers relatively secret because if he was totally open with them we'd have a Very Comics situation on our hands (I'm not against that someday tbh.) I am however super looking forward to the Team Hope getting together to spread... goodness around the cave because while Matt is super hard on himself all the time and doesn't believe he deserves happiness, his inner super hero burns bright as the sun and spreading hope is exactly the kind of thing that would feed his ego and stave off his guilt for a little bit. Expect an open post/top-level for this!!
CR you're looking for: COMPETITIVE GOD TEAM CR! Hit me up if you want to team up/fight over emotions because I'm giving Matt full competitiveness and he is going to believe Hope Is The Best and all other teams (except maybe Delight, Delight can stay) suck and need to be defeated.

GLADIO

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Gladiolus "Gladio" Amicitia
Canon: Final Fantasy XV

About Them: Gladio is a 6'6" mountain of a man with a giant/rad tattoo of a hawk on his back/arms and a giant scar on his chest (as well as two smaller scars on his face.) This is a mean-looking dude. With a heart of gold? Ish? Gladio is the team dad for the FFXVs and his brand of dadding usually means telling his 'kids' to suck it up and stop whining. He does have a soft side hidden under there and he cares super deeply about his friends though, he just has a funny way of showing it (usually by being an asshole.)
Notable CR: The chocobros, Noctis and Prompto. In Noctis' case, Gladio is basically his brash older brother while Prompto is his smol son who needs protecting but also near-constant teasing. Unless Noct is on blast. He and Luna are also pals and Regis kind of intimidates him but that's because Gladio has daddy issues.
Current Plans: Gladio trains with Noct in the mornings and sometimes ropes Prompto (or Luna or Regis) in as well. Otherwise he prowls the cave for monsters to fight to keep himself in shape and hits the bar every now and again to meet hot ladies and dudes. He is also on Team Hope, though his methods for spreading hope might be a bit more 'stop your bitching' than actually helpful... either way he's also going to be aggressively competitive so there's gonna be a lot of fun room to play with there.
CR you're looking for: Gimme that sweet cross-canon CR! I am gonna try to tag out more with Gladio this month so he can find other people to annoy with his excellent brand of cup noodle friendship.

Regis intimidates almost everyone, I swear! He's probably such an oddity to be around since he's somewhat like Noctis but yet not. Dear Reggie is definitely that quiet brooding type and fairly reserved.

Regis gives Gladio daddy flashbacks, even after their talk/cry he's always gonna think about Clarus when he sees him it's inevitable......

will we ever learn the truth behind his daddy issues? probably not

We might! That is if Regis prods him enough. He knows the poor boy is still hurting quite a bit.

However, expect Regis to suddenly start working out in the mornings. Gladio, you officially have some playful competition.

I need to have Ikaruga meet him if only because she's buddies with Regis and on pleasant terms with Noctis and Lunafreya. She won't be intimidated by how tall he is, since one of her best friends from back home is almost 7 feet tall.
