Two Truths and a Lie

• Make a toplevel for your character
• ICly post two truths and a lie! Or four truths and two lies, or multiple sets of two truths and a lie, or whatever you want. Just make sure to make it clear how many lies there are for others to guess.
• Other characters reply and try to guess the lie
• Learn things/Discuss/Respond to other characters
• Make sure to put in a content warning if any of the truths/lies would warrant one
• Have fun!

Dr. Rosen | Alphas
- I once had my face stolen and worn by someone else
- One of my patients tried to kill me with a chess piece then threw me over a bridge
- I sometimes pretend to have "old people problems" such as a bad back, bum hip to get out of unpleasant situations
- I killed a priest. Shot him right in the chest.
- I doomed almost a hundred patients to imprisonment and experimentation in a government black site
- I was once one of the leaders of a cult that believed transcendence could be achieved through utilizing the powers of a particularly powerful Alpha

What were they tryin' to do with it? Make you choke on it or summat?
( Poke your eye out? There's a few options she can think of. )

Okay, Jon's mentioned those words to her, but admittedly she kind of tuned out what they actually mean. But it's pretty dangerous, anyway. )
... When that didn't work they just chucked you over a bridge?
( That's probably the easier option, honestly. )
Wonderin' why they didn't try that in the first place.

Kate, I must confess now that this one was one of the lies. They did start with just trying to throw me over a bridge, but they did not succeed.

So out of willful ignorance, I'm going with those.

[He's proud of that deduction for about .2 seconds.]
... What do you do for a living?

[Good job, sir.]
My official title back home was Neuropsychiatrist. I worked for the Department of Defense.

I'm going to guess the one about chess is a lie.
[Because he thinks he's heard part of this story and it didn't end that way.]
And the priest one?
[Hopefully? Or there better be a good reason there.]

[He doesn't think Rosen would set out to form a cult, but from what he's heard of how things work with the Alphas and such he could see it accidentally happening somehow.]

Well, you are right about the chess story. But I'm afraid the priest story is a truth.

[He really hopes there is.]

[He still hates himself for it. Hates the thought that his hands took a life]
--I had been aiming for his legs. I...I clearly have very bad aim with firearms.
