About Them: A genius forensic anthropologist who is also an idiot. Literal as literal gets, bad at social interaction and aware of it. She Tries to be not as much of a blunt jerk as she used to be, but it doesn't always work out. Ultimately would end god himself if he tried to hurt her people, but given she doesn't believe in god, that's not much of a threat.
Notable CR: Lance is her little brother, p much. Drake was her fake brother in AUverse and she still thinks he's cool. She gets along with Kate and has decided she's adopting Hayden, George, and Abigail if they'll let her tbh. P much everyone else is annoyed by her probably.
Current Plans: She'll be fleeing the fire with Sandy, her fennec fox. She'll stay with Lance until the fire is put out. As for paintball? She'll be really into it. Oh and she's writing a crime mystery novel but events keep distracting her, sorry. At some point it'll be done and available for anyone to read. Yes it will have smut scenes. But they don't matter because the clues in her books are scientifically accurate!!!!!!!!!

About Them: Kind, compassionate, and morally-driven, Lance genuinely does his best to help people with their problems through his job as a psychologist. However, although better adjusted than he probably should be, that isn't saying a whole lot and he's distrusting, competitive, and manipulative as well. Also full of sarcasm and sass. So much sarcasm and sass.
Notable CR: Brennan is a canonmate and he loves her like a sister. He's known Rosen ever since arriving, was Adam's fake brother during the Stepford event, is slowly warming up to Henry, and absolutely can't stand Maketh. Nate and Elena are both cool, he's very concerned about Ellie, has a really weird but sort of mutual respect thing with Marian, and is beginning to actually make friends with several others. Also he and Hux play board games.
Current Plans: Lance is kind of fringe involved in all the Null stuff, so he's quietly trying to see where people stand on all sides, which might be something to work with. Otherwise he'll be having Brennan over during the fire event, and due to being almost neurotically over-competitive at times will be very involved in the paintball event.
CR you're looking for: Despite being pretty cordial with most people and even outwardly friendly, Lance doesn't make actual friends easily, so I'm especially looking for more of that sort of thing. People who are patient and not terrible people work really well for that. But then also the generic 'I want everything' answer here too.

About Them: A blond girl usually to be found in glasses, a neatly-kept braid, and gentleman scientist attire as per the victorian era, all of it impeccably clean. She's exacting and endlessly curious, direct and occasionally ridiculous, cutting but never unkind; she grew up in unholy child of gothic horror and Lovecraftiana and it's made her extremely blase about death, undeath, monsters, and other such bits of darkness that may or may not spring from the depths of the human soul. She specifically is a mad-scientist-in-training, as well as a very belabored twin to a very... difficult sister.

she's the artist formerly known as the inquisitor, is in the habit of adopting strays into groups of rebels, and has a hand that glows green and hurts a lot. so, pretty normal.

About Them: Intelligent, practical, and cautious. While generally polite to people he doesn't know, Adam usually stays distant - it takes him awhile to warm up to someone, and he's very private about certain things. He's on the quiet side, but very stubborn and ambitious and pretty clever. His canon past involves child abuse, so please let me know if you'd like me to leave that out of any tags with you! It doesn't come up that often. He's good at planning, logical thinking, hard work, and not talking about his feelings. He does have a bit of a hidden temper, as well as a tendency toward ruthlessness and brutal practicality. He can't really fight, but can provide basic first aid, strategic help, and some mechanical and magical knowledge. Win him over and he is a fiercely loyal friend, ready to blackmail your enemies, help you bury a body, lend you his history notes, and call you on your shit.
Notable CR: He still lives with Ronan Lynch, a friend from home who he's in a pretty serious relationship with. It's super gross. He's friends with Sharon, tentatively considers Lance a friend, is getting to know George and a few other folks, and is at least on acquaintance terms with most people at the clinic.
Current Plans: I don't really have any! He'll probably be offering first aid and helping at the clinic during the fire event, and though I have no plans yet, he'll likely go down fairly early during the paintball event since he's not much of a fighter.
CR you're looking for: More new friends! People to talk to, people to do dumb teenage stuff with, people to talk about serious adult stuff with. Negative CR is fine but a little difficult, since Adam will just avoid people he doesn't like. He's pretty good at getting along with people who can come off as jerks, as he has experience and patience, as long as he thinks there's more to them than just being a dick.

About Them: Tucker is my shapeshifter rogue from a homebrew (modern setting) D&D game. He's a former con-artist and thief who currently works for a magical artifact smuggler and does odd jobs for an adventurer's guild. He turns into a wolf, and although he's 100% in control of that, shapeshifters/lycanthropes are treated pretty badly in his world, so he keeps a lid on it. He's a constant liar, slightly paranoid, and generally morally dubious, and will often try to show people only what he thinks they want to see. Appearance-wise he's a regular human (white dude, tall, sandy-brown hair, blue eyes), unless he is a wolf (black fur, yellow eyes), but he has a cool leather jacket and aviators, so there's that. Also to answer this question since I've had it twice already: yes, he does indeed smell like a wolf to those with sensitive noses!

Notable CR: Tucker's new to the game but he is coming in with some pre-established CR. He's from the same setting/campaign as Kyna and Harlan, who have been here for a month.

Current Plans: Tucker's just kind of getting the lay of the land at the moment. He's doing a lot of looting the shops, because gotta be prepared and also stealing is fun? I have no fire plans for him, but he is going to be so into this paintball thing you have no idea. He and Kyna are probably going to team up and kick lots of ass.

CR you're looking for: Any and all! I love throwing him against people. He's kind of a troll, and he's incredibly selfish, but if he wants something out of you, he'll play nice. He pretty much never starts actual serious conflict, and he will avoid it or deescalate if at all possible, but it's still very possible to have negative CR with him if you want it. Genuine positive CR is harder and takes longer, because he's very slow to trust, but I'm open to starting that!

About Them: A delightfully scarred tank girl who talks like a soldier, curses like a sailor, but has the heart of gold of a big old doofus. She's a synthetic woman who's data/consciousness has been altered and manipulated with several different memories, but is currently more of a mishmash of the bunch and now is her own person. She also has the ability to not-so-spontaneously combust herself and things around her, and manipulated heat, so approach with caution.

She's from a sci-fi/dystopian series that I've been writing, and despite being synthetic herself, she still has some issues with other synthetics/robots/AI types. Ironic since she lives with the resident robot detective, Nick Valentine. It's a work in progress, okay?

Also manages the Speakeasy after Delight's bar was so rudely blown up.

Notable CR: Refer to CR chart for future reference, but some recent notable developments...

Nick Valentine: Still lives with. Still dadbot. Though she now thinks of him as a father more than she did before, so yes.
Maketh Tua: Is now dating, not long after things soured for her with Bianca post-ghost event scandal. They got married in the Pleasant Valley AU event and are taking things in stride from there. Carlisle may or may not still have the marriage certificate he personally made for them.
Firo Prochainezo still helps manage the Casino part of the Speakeasy, and holds the fort while Rey is gone.
Alphys has been helping out with "welcome dance night" at the Speakeasy, and Rey has a soft spot for the goofy lizard lady.

Current Plans: Befitting to her nature, Rey is gonna spike the fire that causes that little storm. Fortunately she can also absorb heat as well as produce it, so she can help clean up her own mess.

However she'll be avoiding the paintball wars due to having negative experiences with Rage-inspired events, so as soon as she sees that message she's gonna "nope" hard.

Other than that, I'm gonna try and focus on catching up! She also made a network post recently to signal boost rebuilding Delight's old place, particularly since she had pitched the café idea to her already. Game plan is to get it set up sometime before or during the Paint Wars, but feel free to hit up the IC and/or OOC post that's linked if you want your character involved in that!

CR you're looking for: All of them! I enjoy Rey meeting other soldier/defender types. She also still has a weird thing about robots because of the synthetics she's dealt with in her world, but she's softened up on them a bit.
Other than that, I love her interacting with characters that are pretty much the opposite of her. They bring out the best.

About Them: He has no chill. Just like, literally none of it. He looks like a punk, loves a good fight, and has a pet raven named Chainsaw CATCH ME ON THIS EDGE. Anyway, despite his abrasiveness, he can be very loyal and earnest, he never lies, he always makes things difficult. Also all that super fun PTSD jazz, and the ability to take any object, living or dead, out of his dreams!
Notable CR: He's been dating Adam Parrish for awhile and probably gets the most action out of anyone in the cave, which is nice. He's also friends (??? wow weird) with Sharon and has some newer CR with others that I'm excited to pursue!
Current Plans: Not too many, I'd be super willing to make some!
CR you're looking for: Anything, really. He gets along best with people who are firm, but patient enough to put up with him. Conversely, he also tends to form very strange friendships based around arguing and bitching at people, so that works out for him too! I also enjoy negative CR and Ronan is very good at it- if you want your character to get into a fistfight, he's your dude!

About Them: The dark and broody type, not very friendly and not easy to get along with. Yes he really is a doctor as well as being a pirate captain. Usually thinks he's better than you, puts up with shit for the sake of getting through this together, a bit inflexible and jaded. He's not nice, and if an interpersonal relationship turns awkward it's probably his fault. Anyone who gets within five feet of him is going to definitely notice the tattoos: DEATH on the fingers, more on the backs of his hands and forearms and a glimpse that he's got more on his chest and shoulders.
Notable CR: still feeling out his boundaries. He seems to be getting along with elves strangely enough, nearly everyone else is "just someone he met."
Current Plans: Top need is to get him to meet other clinic staff. I would love for him to butt heads with clashing personalities, but also see if anyone on staff is actually someone he'd get along with. I don't have any plans for him regarding the fire aside from being on call to heal burns, so that would be a quick and easy way to meet him and see him actually being helpful if not nice. PAINTBALL THO...

Okay so admitting it up front: Law's abilities make him a dirty damn cheater at paintball. His haki allows him to sense where people are and also anticipate (and dodge) projectiles, so he could genuinely stalk the entire cave and pick off everyone without getting shot if I let him. I won't do that. He's also allergic to fun so he probably won't give a shit until he starts finding people in comas and gets alarmed. His marksmanship isn't as good as his swordsmanship so at long range he's not that good of a shot anyway. To play fair I'm generally thinking he's going to hole up and protect himself until the end while trying to investigate the fallen, but idk how to do that without sitting the whole thing out so if anyone has ideas, I'm all ears.
CR you're looking for: I just want to throw him at everyone and see what sticks. I'm totally down for negative CR or long-term antagonism and rivalry, but he'll lose his mind if he doesn't have a couple of people he does genuinely like/trust. Knowing how much of a dick he is, I'm willing to work to find who he clicks with.

About Them: Raidou is a 16-year-old young man, coming from 1922, who was born and raised to deal with supernatural crises and wrangle with demons. He was given the sizable task of protecting the Capital of Japan all on his own. He does a lot of his work under the guise of a detective agency that deals with "unusual cases". Sometimes he manages to go to high school too. He's pretty low-key and quiet and used to working on his own (with some help in the form of the original Raidou Kuzunoha in the body of a cat. It's weird). He's great with a sword and a gun and dealing with weird shit, but less so with social interaction. He's rather quiet and might even come off as distant, but he's a good dude who just likes keeping people safe.
Notable CR: His most significant CR right now I think is with Malkus, Akira and Rydia.
Current Plans: Raidou might finally make a public post soon! Just needs to push past this whole silent protag thing he's got going on. He's been working to clean up the library, will be helping with the rebuilding of Delight's bar/cafe, and will be devastating at paintball.

About Them: Cranky older physicist who kinda maybe sorta accidentally had a hand in causing her world to get very fucked up -- if it's not the apocalypse, you can see it from here. She's had some real bad experiences in a short amount of time that only added to her existing pile of personality quirks, and the last ~9 months of events in Hadriel sure haven't been great for her either! She's been leading some efforts to try to find the Door (unsuccessfully) and you can expect her to shittalk the gods, excuse me, parasites any day.
Notable CR:Alphys is her lab pal, and Malkus is like... a weird friendly gremlin she feels some sympathy for. She has a kind of uneasy thing going with Carlisle and Glacius, and a straight-up antagonistic relationship with Mello and Sharon (from the few times they've talked, #yikes). She's also had a really good chat or two with Lance in the past.
Current Plans: Trying to keep the fire from getting to the lab, recations to whatever new god shit comes up!

About Them: Ancient spirit of a Pharaoh that recently got a brand new body to get used to. He's really into games, any kind, but especially card games, with monsters... but poker works too. He can be incredibly skilled at any game and used to carry proudly the King of Games title back from his world, he kind of lost his last duel before arriving to Hadriel, but he really, really had to. He's also 5' (sans the hair) and looks like 12.
Notable CR: Notable for ... what two days? Matthew and Trafalgar, one good and one... not so good.
Current Plans: Atem got hurt when he arrived to Hadriel because he's not exactly fit for this place, so he's going to be dealing with a wound, and how the hell does one do this being alive thing again? He might request someone to teach him how to fight, more like, help him remember how, he hadn't lifted a sword in about 3000 years.

Resident power seeing superhuman who represses more emotional trauma with alcohol in one day than I will over the course of my life. Terribly skilled at having no visible enthusiasm for anything and a Lot Of Feelings under the surface of it all. Frequently tries and fails to be funny. Back in Hadriel after an in game break of 2 months, which was 3 years for her. Seems to believe that rooftops are appropriate paths to take to and from anywhere in the city. Practices archery and specialises in throwing knives.

Has had a worrying tendency to not make bad decisions as of late which needs to change.

Notable CR: God, Kate kind of knows everyone? She's definitely closest to Glacius, and cares about Carlisle too (but never let Carlisle know she said that). She hangs out with Jo and Henry quite a bit, especially as the latter teaches her longbow. If you work at or come around the clinic a lot, she'll at least know you well enough to remember your name and face. Kind of upset about Rosie atm since she just found out the girl's a cannibal. Likes Sharon and Bianca still as her former bad decision buddies. Has semi-adopted Ignis since the AU event I guess. Drinks with Cecily on occasion... I am pretty sure I'm forgetting someone. She's been here a while and gets around a lot, okay?

Current Plans: At the moment, Kate is currently doing the healthy thing any person does after being traumatised by their Most Dreaded Future - overworking herself and drinking. She will probably use the fire as a really good excuse to continue that overworking thing because of course she will. And then paintball is going to be a really good way of getting out some of that anger at being taunted by a future she can't do anything about right now. For the moment? her inbox is always open.

About Them: The second half of the Texmex Disaster Twins, Lup is Taako's twin sister and will teasingly remind everyone that she's the hotter of the two. She's a high elf wizard with a love of cooking, high drama, and blowing shit up. She's gregarious and very social, but can come off pretty rude in her effort to be brutally honest. Due to their shitty upbringing, Lup has some Trust Issues™ and takes time to really warm up to people, but she's really making an effort in Hadriel. Because she comes from a podcast medium, icons will never be perfectly matching, but the twins are described as being 'ethereally, femininely beautiful' and still look to be in their mid-twenties despite having lived through two centuries. Lup's tall (5'11") with a very slight, slender frame, and long, light-colored hair. She has darker skin that's covered in freckles. As an elf, she's got those trademark pointed ears.

She's also just as much of a ho for fashion and needless accessories as her twin, so there's various piercings, dangling bracelets, and high heels always (even if they are sometimes inconvenient in a cave).

Notable CR: Lup spends most of her time between hanging with her brother (Taako) or with their other friends (Lucretia, Magnus, and Merle). She’s also close friends with Elena Fisher, Nathan Drake, and Alphys, and slowly coming to know Malkus, Akira, Ellie, Kyna, Drake, and Ephemera. We also have two new canonmates that came in this round that Lup had never met before Hadriel, so she'll hopefully be working to form relationships with them soon.
Current Plans: For September, Lup's going to be actively participating in the paintball tournament with an intense desire to WIN, likely teaming up with her twin and just going wild and using magic to their advantage. If all goes through with the mods, I'm planning on canon updating Lup to near end game canon in October, which means she will be coming back as a spooky, spectral skeleton floating around in a red-robe. Should be good times.

Alphys is a monster from the Underground, meaning she's made of magic, and a fairly brilliant robotics engineer, though she's also got a great proficiency in magical studies and soul research. Current Plans: There's not much!! She spent last month very depressed due to the one-two punch of Sans' departure and the Mirrors event, so she's just now getting back on her feet. Ignis is young but a well-trained fighter, as well as a proficient chef. He is clever and knows it, has a dry/sarcastic sense of humour and a tendency to gloat when he's proven right, but is an all-around decent guy and someone who is good to have as a friend, especially if you happen to need someone to cook for you.
And honestly, he's really twenty-two.
Notable CR: Of course, Noctis is his closest friend despite a gap of some years, but he is also on good terms with Kate Galloway, Cecily Trevelyan, Maglor, and knows a number of other people in passing. As a member of the Guard, he's likely a known face to anyone else of the same inclinations. Ignis doesn't trust a lot of what he finds here, and he's not a social butterfly in any respect regardless, but he has a tendency to make himself known.
Current Plans: Ignis doesn't use the network for himself - yet - which makes open posts a bit trickier, but he'll reply to other people. He recently took part in the joint training between the fire brigade and the guard (where he has an open top level) and will no doubt be throwing in to fight the fires that break out. In terms of paintballing, he's never held a gun in his life, but I don't doubt he'll pick it up reasonably quickly. If anyone would like to volunteer to show him how to use one of the guns and/or mercilessly shoot him with paintballs I'm all for it. I don't expect him to make it to the last round, here. He's also put up his hand to help with the rebuilding of Delight's Bar, wherever that leads.

About Them: Matt is your everyday blind ninja lawyer. He's a fairly friendly guy. He's easy to be casually acquainted with, but a bit harder to get close to. Or actually really know. He's quick to chat and joke, or flirt for that matter. That said, his tolerance for bullshit is low, and he will give back snark as good as he gets it. Anyway, he's recognizable by the red and white cane and dark glasses, but other than that nothing stands out too much.

He'll also be heading out into the streets "disguised" (...he dressss in black and pulls a knit cap over the top half of his face. It's foolproof) to get a better idea of things and likely get himself in trouble trying to "help people" so there's that part of him too. Technically he's supposed to have given the whole Daredevil thing up, but he figures new monster-filled alien world might be extenuating circumstances.

Notable CR: This jerk is lucky enough to have his wife in residence, and amazingly, Nate also has friends! Currently, he would be so bold as to say that his "friends" include the disaster Taaco twins, Merle Highchurch, and Lance Sweets. Notable acquaintances include Dr. Brennan and Nick Valentine. He has kind of a soft spot for Ellie, who he taught how to use a grappling hook.

Current Plans: Paintball plans 100%. He'll destroy whoever gets in his way, shooting people up is................kind of his thing. Current Plans: The Guard will be coordinating with and helping out the Fire Brigade when the fire happens. Look out for a network post from your Guard leaders! Unfortunately Henry and Maketh's apartment will suffer a lot of fire damage and won't be habitable afterwards. During the paintball battle he'll be acting as the no fun police.
