About Them: First of all Michael has a permissions post since his story deals with some Heavy topics that could potentially come up in tags, and also he's having some Issues right now. The TL;DR is that he's a (now former) autopsy tech who's possessed (he would say "inhabited") by a murder-monster that's actually, unbeknownst to him, himself. It's confusing as hell. Sorry. The monster likes to eat killers but it's on vacation rn. He's normally pretty introverted and awkward but since he died during the last major plot event, he's a little spliced with his resident monster and is experiencing some, uh, anger management issues. To put it lightly. Those will hopefully be resolved soonish, but in the meantime you can find him grumping around the city (mostly the clinic rebuild) and getting overly sensitive to perceived insults on the network. His only super-prominent physical feature is that currently his eyes are glowing blue. Sick.

Notable CR: Michael's closest CR is Harlan Halliday, who is now his boyfriend. His other close and close-ish CR includes Delmar, Carlisle, Kyna, Law, the other clinic staff, Rosie, and others I am probably forgetting (SORRY!!!)

Current Plans: He's going to try and get his current monsterfied situation sorted, probably with Harlan's help. He'll try to help with the clinic rebuild until he gets too pissed at everyone and leaves. He'll probably be more network-present than normal because he's way less shy at the moment. As for event plans, I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT DAT KID EVENT YOU GUYS YOU HAVE NO IDEA I'm already picking out a kid PB and everything. Mini-Michael is coming soon to a murdertown near u. He'll be around 9-ish and a lot like regular Michael (sans monster) but he'll retain a little bit of the tendency to start fights (oops). Only if you're mean to him, of course.

CR you're looking for: Honestly? Anything. I have a lot of positive CR for Michael and I am both pleasantly surprised and eternally grateful for it, but I'm also open to negative CR. As I've said before I'm down with any negative consequences to his actions, and he's kind of ripe for that sort of thing. In the past I've opened up the floor for "are you a killer who wants to get eaten by a ghost" plots, but those are on hold until the Visitor is no longer Venn-diagram'd with Michael.

About Them: Angus is an 11-year-old boy detective! No, really, back home he used to solve murders and hunt down serial killers for a living. He's a ridiculously polite little nerd who likes solving mysteries and studying magic, and he is both whip-smart and gullible as hell when it comes to people goofing on him. He kind of sucks at being a kid, since he's spent most of his childhood working as a detective and making sure that his adult coworkers took him seriously, and because of this, he tends to be kinda squirrely around kids his own age. Appearance-wise, I draw Angus as a short, scrawny kid with floofy hair and big ol' nerd glasses. He's canonically been described as 'a fancy lad', which means he dresses like a senior citizen, an escapee from an old-timey private school, or an extra from the cast of Newsies. He also keeps his magic wand on him at all times, he wears it on a lanyard around his neck, and it's usually tucked into his shirt (or sweatervest, if it isn't too hot out).
Notable CR: He's very close to his castmates (Taako, Lup, Barry, Merle, Lucretia, and he has been STRICTLY WARNED AWAY FROM LYDIA), and is tentatively becoming friends with Richie? And Alphys, maybe??
Current Plans: Angus is going to be STRESSED AS HELL THIS MONTH. Magnus just left, the rest of his family will be fighting thanks to Lucretia's arrival, and then suddenly all of his adults are going to be tiny children?? HALP.
CR you're looking for: He needs more friends, especially more kid-friends! He's going to be out of the house a lot, considering all the bickering family members, and I'd love for him to run into more people. I'd also love to find a way for him to start doing detective work again!

About Them: A hyperactive, illiterate demon boy (physically around 10) who loves everyone and everything. He can create portals, so he often shows up invited at random in peoples' spaces, if you ever want to meet up with him without having a reason. He's pledged his undying soul to Hope. He also has a demon's horns (baby stubby horns) on his forehead and a classic devil's tail. Too, too many sharp teeth. He screams a lot, and is probably unwashed half the time.
Notable CR: Harlan and Delmar mostly for regularly-seen CR, but he pretty much consider anyone he talks to an important friend!
Current Plans: Hayden's already (physically) a child, so I don't have any plans for the de-aging event other than him being very overwhelmed by suddenly being surrounded by people his age! He does really want to work on a big thank-you-and-get-well-soon card for Hope, so he might try to recruit his fellow kids to sign it. He also wants to do some other sort of hope-gathering project. He's playing around with the idea of having everyone right down their positive thoughts for the future and their wishes and putting them in a big jar to give to Hope along with the card. Other than that, he's going to be helping Delmar with his bakery!

About Them: Newt is super smart, super arrogant, and super obnoxious. He's also super enthusiastic, which usually makes him at least kind of fun to be around, but that's been tempered mildly now that he's stuck in Hadriel. He'll bounce back eventually, probably? Anyway, Newt's from a version of Earth that's being invaded by massive Godzilla-style aliens called Kaiju, and he's a biologist that studies them. THE biologist, really. He's lowkey highkey obsessed with them, so step right up if you want him to talk your ear off about how awesome and amazing the Kaiju are. There's no Kaiju in Hadriel so that's a bummer (SORT OF???) but there are a lot of crazy weird other species lurking in the caves, which is what he's currently interested in. That'll go well, surely. Newt's impulsive and is incredibly dense when it comes to other people's feelings and stuff, but he means well...? Mostly? IDK MAN Newt's a hot mess and is very Extra and has a habit of infuriating everyone around him, but this is mostly due to his unwillingness to rein himself in. Gotta be all Newt all the time, dude.

Notable CR: Newt has a lot of budding CR but he's not super close to many folks yet! He hangs out with Alphys in the lab a lot though, and he's been talking to Hayden, Cashmere, Atem, and Rosie a bit too. A bunch of folks came out to help him with monster-wrangling stuff (DETAILS TO FOLLOW...) so that's likely to develop into some more consistent CR too.

Current Plans: NEWT. IS. BEING RECKLESS AND STARTING A ZOO. Basically anyway? He's researching the various fauna of Hadriel (read: monsters) and is going to work on compiling an IC bestiary. He has a 3-bedroom house all to himself and two of the three bedrooms are for Specimens because who needs friends when you have science??? He managed to catch two salamanders from one of the recent intro logs (named Beep Beep and Chimney, thanks Hayden) and has a bunch of dead things stockpiled at the lab (soRRY ALPHYS) but is always gonna be on the lookout for more Stuff to either observe or dissect. He made a network post about it last month. I'm 100% on board with anyone getting involved with this in whatever way suits you/your character, even if you're new and missed the post!! We can figure out something to get you involved. Right now, Hayden is the Official Namer and helps Newt with taking care of the salamanders, Michael is helping him dissect dead specimens in the lab, a buuuunch of people have offered to either collect dead stuff or help him wrangle living stuff, and apparently there's like a People for the Ethical Treatment of Salamanders situation happening because wow were a million people concerned for the salamanders???? DW HADRIEL THEY ARE SAFE AND WELL CARED FOR!! Oh and I don't really have plans for the storm or the kid event BUT I'm a-okay with that changing come at me.

CR you're looking for: I'd like Newt to start getting some closer CR? Which is mostly on me since I haven't been as active with him as I'd like, but that's my goal for the coming weeks. Like I said, the monster science/bestiary thing is an easy-in with him, but I'm happy to do most anything with him.

Padmé is a stubborn, willful woman who has been a politician far longer than she's been anything else. However, she's kind and always puts others before her, trying to work for the greater good over grabbing power for herself.
Notable CR: No one, really. She is married to Anakin but they're current going through a "difficult" phase. Other than him, she's had a sort of connection with Margaery and Bianca?
Current Plans: Padmé has no real CR here and I would like to rectify that. I'll be attempting to get her something to do besides helping Seel at the orchards. It's something to do that she doesn't have to think about and helps others, so she's there. And she sort of likes it.
CR you're looking for: Everything. Padmé needs legitimate friends that don't have political agendas. She hasn't had that in a very long time and has lost the last connection that she thought she had to a "normal" life.

About Them: Gren is the one-armed, alcoholic monster man who's been hanging around Hadriel since pretty much the beginning. Usually pissed about something, always in a state of drunk, hungover, or por que no los dos. Currently also deaf as a post until Hope gets his shit together again.
Notable CR: He's sort of boyfriends with Wade Wilson, and it's only 'sort of' because he hasn't managed to pull his head out of his easily chafed ass far enough to actually tell him about the extent of his delicate fee-fees. Frequently bothers the Texmex twins, especially Lup.
Current Plans: Gren will be playing babysitter to the Texmex twins, Lydia, and Wade when they're aged down, much to his eternal chagrin. He's going to be hustled by child elves, it must be karmic retribution for all the murder.

Gren will also be getting de-aged. Because he is the OG mama's boy, he's going to pull an Are You My Mother on Lup, if that story had ended with the kid saying 'fuck it, close enough' to the first mom-shaped thing he found. Want a weird monster kid? Hit me up.

About Them: Lance is a psychologist/criminal profiler/FBI agent because he's an overachiever and doesn't know when to say no. He's friendly, a little dorky, and genuinely wants to help people, but at the same time he's also guarded, distrusting, and slow to actually bond with people. Despite liking to appear as though he's very composed and has had a very normal life, he's been through a lot and sometimes can't quite keep the act up, especially in Hadriel. For more details, has an info page!
Notable CR: Brennan is a canonmate and basically his older sister. Rosen, Kyna, and Adam are friends, he has a good relationship with Ephemera, Drake, George, Nate, Elena, Carlisle, Kate, Harlan, and Richie, and knows a ton of other people to varying degrees. Right now he doesn't have any active negative CR, though he does have some very uncertain relationships with a few people.
Current Plans: Lance has been having a very bad month or so since the Null invasion, not handling everything that happened during or since it particularly well. He's starting to improve a little though, and will be making a post during the dust storm; he's also available for counseling and such, if anyone ever want to plot anything with that! It's also worth noting that he's basically quit working at the Clinic, moving his availability to on-call only for emergencies. For the age-down event he's going to be mostly unaffected and on babysitting duty, but for close CR he might have a day or so of being a very sad child because his early life was a mess.
CR you're looking for: It's actually kind of a change for him not to have any real negative CR, although he's had some clashes and some relationships are pretty shaky. But I'm also all about developing his current CR, and also just throwing together characters and seeing how things go!

About Them: She's a former hikikomori/hermit, so she can be a bit shy when it comes to face-to-face encounters. She has social anxiety triggered by crowds due to her time staying indoors. While she's overcome it, Futaba did go through a period of severe depression and suicidal ideation--with certain stessors and events this may come up again (any posts related to such things will be tagged appropriately). Finally, Futaba is a literal technological genius. She's coded hidden apps and recording software to secretly install on a phone, as well as hacking into NHK's main broadcasting systems to overtake the Shibuya telescreens (think Time's Square) and having a retaliation program in place to thwart police response efforts. Also, she is tiny, clocking in at 4'11.
Notable CR: She's brand new, so mostly her fellow Phantom Thieves rn!
Current Plans: Getting her settled in game for the time being. As she gets established, I'll be looking for things for her to really get involved in.

About Them: King of what used to be Lucis, lead singer of the roadtrip boyband, has a very cool exterior but is actually a quite friendly and helpful guy with a lot of emotions he's not sure how to articulate. Can be a ball of awkward but means well, and likes to nap a lot. He tries his best for people and is pretty good with helping anyone out with whatever they need, no matter how menial the task. Likes lots of animals like cats, dogs, etc, also likes hugging chocobos. He's sadder now and less prone to be a dork because plenty of tragic and awful reasons, but the heart of heroic dorkiness is still there. Just needs a more coaxing out.

Notable CR: He's plenty new here, but he has castmates i.e. Ignis, Prompto, Aranea, Ravus, etc, but he's very open to having a lot more.
Current Plans: No plans at all, but I'm open into jumping in wherever I can! He won't be a kid for this month, because I'm looking forward to have him take care of / be a big brother to the ones who do, so come right up!

About Them: he is a smol fighting type pokemon who is kind of a big rebellious deal back in his canon. the setting he's from is super messed up and it has turned him in to An Assholic Disaster of a person. he's sassy, vulgar, argumentative, a pathological liar, and he will either break or steal anything he can get his hands on. he has 19 million tattoos and a gnarly looking face scar. he's fun!

Notable CR: his closest positive cr is his castmate-and-daughter, the girl, and also julie wineflavors. i feel like he has been sowing a lot of potential negative cr seeds lately so hello all of you i hope we can grow these precious seeds in to a healthy forest of hate.

Current Plans: currently he's raiding beanie babies! learning to swim! setting up small stashes of supplies in a bunch of ruined/abandoned buildings because he is a feral child who apparently doesn't believe in nice housing! he can be found doing any of these things. things i would like to move him towards: checking out the orchard (or what's left of it), perhaps teaching some of the younger citizens to shoot (since some of the older folks are ~weird~ and freak out over kids having guns, geez, what's the big dealie), and slowly moving in to an actual house... i am so sorry to his future neighbors. like, for real.

CR you're looking for: more positive cr is great! he can be sort of a dick and he finds it very difficult to open up to/trust people, yeah, but he will carry on a conversation pretty easily and he's funny sometimes. he appreciates no-nonsense characters who will butt heads with him, so if you have one of those, he'll probably take a shine to them quicker than he would to a genuinely nice and caring character. go figure. he also gets along well with gritty survival-types because he can relate to them, and he has a soft spot for kids, but anyone could work!

negative cr is also my jam!!! ghoul is extremely confrontational and has a really weird moral code. it's very, very easy to disagree with him or find him off-putting. either hit me up or just run with it. come at me. let's make things bad.

Additional Info: My timezone is GMT+9 because I live in Japan. So, most of my tags tend to come in the middle of the night for people stateside. I like to think I'm pretty active and try to clear my inbox every couple days but during especially busy work weeks I can lag a little. But I try not to let anything sit for more than a week! CW: Rose is a character that comes with a lot of heavy topics such as cannibalism, body horror, suicidal ideation and lots of other cheery things. About Them: Rose is a CRAU from a lovely little city called Haven. While there, she was experimented on by Dr. Phillip Kite and turned into a flesh-eating monster. After starving herself for a little over a year, she's finally started taking measures to keep her hunger in check with Hope (and other's!) help sliding back to square one because of the Null invasion and wanting Hope to focus on his own recovery. Eventually, this might become a plot point as she relapses into starvation mode but! We'll see how things play out.

She pulls stupid stunts to get a rise out of the cave residents and hopefully make people laugh and have a bit of fun. Rose is all about wearing masks and usually plays the role of the harmless fool so people underestimate how dangerous and awful she can really be.

Notable CR: Rose has been in the murdercave turned murderplanet for a little over a year now. As such, she's old hat and seen a lot of people go through The (Revolving) Door. Right now, she's closest to Rey, Alphys, and (the late) Sorrow. Otherwise, she talks to quite a few people regularly like Kate, Ignis, Atem, Michael, and is starting to reach out and make some new connections in Carlisle, Glacius, and others! She also has History with Newt... but he isn't the one she remembers so that's just a huge mess.

Current Plans: For right now, Rose is focusing on getting Rey back on her feet after the Null invasion. This includes helping with Speakeasy, mostly, but also just generally harassing her a ton. She's also helping out with the orchard restoration efforts! Basically, she's trying to find stuff to focus on besides the fact that Sorrow is dead and she wants to drown herself in the newfound muderpools over it on any given day.

For the event, Rosie is going to have a little her running around! This will be very interesting because as a child Rosie will appear as a yokai aka a tiny feral wolf demon child. She will be skittish but curious about everything because all she's ever known is a world of enternal winter with other wolves. She didn't fit in with her kind and felt v displaced so she will be fascinated by normal-seeming people/humans and likely be v comfortable with them bbuuuutttt that will simultaneously feed into her self-loathing about how alienated from her own kind she feels. Basically, Rosie was sad all the way to her beginnings. Fun!

CR you're looking for: As of right now, I'm looking for people to help Rose with being a monster and what that means. She's a pretty sad former shell of herself these days and doesn't believe in things like love or that she'll get a happy ending anymore. In fact, she's pretty sure all these different worlds are just different layers of Hell that she 110% deserves to be in for what an awful person she's been throughout her life. It's some really depressing, heavy stuff!! Which I know isn't everyone's cup of tea!!! So, people to pick her up and try to help her have some hope again would be nice.

But otherwise, I'm really down for anything. She gets on well with most people and doesn't like conflict, but also can be rather opinionated and very passionate about what she believes in so tends to clash with some people over.

Current Plans: Arya wants a way out of here. She's pretty frustrated that most of the others here are, at least in her view, content to just sit around and play nice while they're trapped in another world, though she's beginning to understand some of the different motivations for that. Current Plans: Kain spent most of the beginning of the year in recovery, laying low and having no choice but to rest. Currently, he's still going through some aftereffects after being revived. I might have him experience a bad turn of things during the duststorm. I'll also be up for him getting involved in that in general. About Them: Aranea's brand new here! Personality-wise she's pretty chill, despite the fact that she can be seen rocking a ridiculous death-metal unicorn helmet. She's ex-military and more recently ex-search and rescue so generally willing to get her hands dirty to help out and pretty capable at it. She likes getting her fingers into information, is generally pretty blunt and has a tendency to say exactly what she means but in such a casual way that it might sound like sarcasm, and is not above lying if she thinks it's going to improve the situation. She's also a CRAU, so she's developed more of an ability to work with people rather than give orders and put a bit more value in friendships.

Post-apocalypse teenager who was briefly a a pawn of fate used to save the last city on Earth from drug-induced mind control by turning into a human EMP bomb. She died once and has also seen everyone she's ever cared about die, so she's kind of an emotional mess who keeps all that bottled up. She was raised by teenagers so what does she know about healthy coping mechanisms? On the bright side she's ride or die loyal, really likes music and will always finish everything on her plate, so she's really the perfect dinner guest. Also she has a really cute cat.

Notable CR: Her closest CR is Ghoul, aka one of her four dads. She's had some interesting interactions with a lot of other people, so let's make those turn into something, maybe?

Current Plans: Currently Girl is hunkering down because I've been on hiatus with the flu for two weeks. But this dust storm event? Sounds like home to her! She'll probably be warning strangers about how to prepare for the temperature if she sees them out in unsuitable dress/circumstances. She'll also probably help dig things/people out after the storm (while maybe pilfering a few things for herself if anyone wants to call her on it). I'd love it she could get trapped with someone new or someone she has little CR with during the storm. I'm planning do the de-age event if anyone wants to deal with a very loud and untamed ten-year-old screaming inappropriate things. Kid!Girl can take care of herself, but if anyone wants to try playing babysitter she can totally terrorize them. I'll probably have her from before everything in her life was terrible so it's more lighthearted but I can also bring out the traumatized kid if someone would rather deal with that.

Outside of the event, I'm really open to anything! I'd like for her to get her hands on a weapon eventually, so it could be interesting for her to seek out lessons for something she's not used to. And I'd like to have her explore their new setting, if anyone's up for some meandering walks with Girl and her cat.

Positive CR! I'd both love her to hang out with others who have been through the wringer for that understanding and with people who have had less complicated lives so she can so live a little vicariously through their stories. Girl has basically never had friends her own age, so a chance to hang out with other teenagers would be great especially. However she's used to hanging out with people older than her, so she'd probably get along with adults better. Her world doesn't have a lot of children running around, but I'd love for her to take on a sibling-ish/mentor role to someone younger than her.

She'd probably get along very well with survivalist types or anyone from horror/war worlds because she can connect to everything being awful all the time. I'm also interested in her learning how to use a weapon that isn't a gun, so someone who is willing to teach her would be great. She's pretty nice once you get past all the distrust side-eyeing, so bring on anyone who is willing to hang out with a screwed up teenager that probably smells like garbage.

Negative CR! Girl's got a lot of bottled up rage and anxiety, and it'd be fun to play with that. Kick her cat, say something about Ghoul, argue with her about supply rationing, please make her snap. She's very sensitive about identity and emotional control, so there's that. She was raised by brats so she can definitely be one too. Maybe someone can get pissed at her sarcasm or her refusal to take a shower. Let's just make our characters hate each other, it'll be fun I promise.
