I don't know which I need first...a shower or a confessional.

these are my confessions
just when i thought i said all i could say my chick on the side said she had one on the way
✔ Your character is suddenly compelled to confess things.
✔ They can be about themselves, things they think about others, etc etc.
✔ Format however you like! If you want to make a toplevel and respond to yourself with individual confessions to keep things organized, go for it. If you want to post a bunch of confessions together in the toplevel, that's also cool! Same with having a thread/reply for other characters confessing to yours.
✔ Reply to confessions!
✔ Continue to confess things/assume your character has to tell the truth in threads.
✔ HAVE FUN

2. I seriously considered joining the Null the first time they made their offer. I'd already decided against it by the time they made their hit list, and if I hadn't that would've done it, but the original offer was too tempting to completely ignore.
3. Being here constantly reminds me of the worst time in my life, and it takes an inordinate amount of mental effort to function even semi-normally on most days. That's part of the reason I'm so impatient with the people who act as though a problem or situation is caused by someone simply not trying hard enough.

[It's selfish, but he's so glad she's here. It had been even more difficult without her; being all alone had made it even harder than it already way not to doubt himself in a bad moment.]

You think about this stuff a lot, don't you?

[It took some getting used to. A whole lot of patience. More than one ass-kicking.]
Hnn. Maybe. Got a feeling you're doing this shit off the clock too, though.

[It's a small joke that he half means, but is still mostly a deflection. Not like Ephemera's wrong, after all.]

[He tips his head to the side.]
Even people like me can't be on all the time.

I can't really turn off thinking about things.

[Although there's definitely a difference in terms of mental distance, but he won't bring that up.]

[So being able to choose what point to return to will let him avoid that fate, at least in that specific way.]

But I'm not an expert in time travel, so hopefully you wouldn't end up running into your past self or something.

[It isn't that he's given up now either, but he's at least able to balance it a little better.]

[And there are less terrible people than it seems. It's that way at home, after all; the awful things are the ones that stand out in one's memories and get most of the attention on the news, but the majority of people are at least decent if not good people.]
