Welcome to Hadriel's test drive, and thank you again for your interest in the game! As always, our reserves page is here, and our applications page is here! Reserves open February 21st, and apps are open March 1st. Please remember that there is an app cap of 20 apps.

Two quick points here as well:

1. Any thread made in Hadriel's test drive will be accepted as the sole Action Log sample in the application.
2. All threads made in the test drive can be considered game canon, either through handwaving or through a shared mental experience while coming through the Door!

Test drives will be broken up into specific god mini-events, during which your characters can see how well they fare under the watchful eye of one of the gods. Choose wisely or just simply pick 'em all, and have fun!

SCENARIO ONE: FRACTURED FUTURE?
[The Door brings in all that is chaotic and evil in the world. This may include you, may include the person next to you... and may include the monster behind you.

This time, the Door has decided to bring in some monsters who already have a taste of what it's like to win their war. Welcome to the Risen, from the Fire Emblem franchise!

Risen are reanimated corpses, dedicated to obeying their master's will. While they have some form of sentience, they cannot be dissuaded from their goal and attack all who oppose them with a singleminded desire to execute their purpose, which unfortunately for you is "killing indiscriminately". Still, they're not all bad and some of them may even be relieved to finally be put to death. Have fun!]

T R A N Q U I L I T Y

SCENARIO TWO: ONLY THE GOOD STUFF
[Tranquility has decided to take over Hope's food supply regimen and- well, if anyone thought he was a self righteous hipster before, this is probably what's going to seal the deal. All the food provided in the shops is now extremely vegan-only, from basic lettuce to the most bland fruit you can stand to look at.

None of it even tastes like anything, either- it's all like you're eating water. Maybe to Tranquility, this is a feast, but for you, it's difficult to register that you're even full. Better start prepping those salt mines- it's gonna be a long month.]

SCENARIO THREE: YANDERE LIFE
[Unfortunately for you, you came at a time when Rage was very unhappy with everyone- and now you get to suffer for it. Is there anyone who catches your eye? Anyone who you might want to get to know a little better? Well, you're about to get to know them a lot better, because now you're obsessed with them.

It's not the innocent kind of obsession, either- this is a full speed ahead, breakdown, pull out the knives and rope kind of obsession, where your desire to be near someone is synonymous with stalking, being a creep, and overall just not really anything remotely approaching healthy.

Better look out and hope that nobody gets a crush on you either.

This is a mini version of our Kiss me Kill me event this month.]

[Fox doesn't recognise Akechi at first: the black suit and helmet was something he'd yet to see, and certainly not something he'd seen Akechi wear during his previous stay in Hadriel. Yet it had been only natural to want to help someone backed into a corner, and it's when Fox runs to help that he hears that familiar voice, sees his weapon.]

Goemon! [He summons his Persona to his side in a rush of blue flame, and soon, the Risen around them are frozen in ice. Temporarily, but it's enough.] Cut them down, quickly!

[...Or shoot them, whichever works.]

[ The burst of blue energy is the first thing he notices, and what follows is all easily recognizable: the Persona, the voice calling it out, the fox mask. When stranded in a strange place, most people would find comfort in familiarity, but in this case, he might be more inclined to believe the Risen would warm up more quickly to him than one of the Phantom Thieves might.

Regardless, Yusuke has given him a chance to strike-- perhaps as payback for Akechi's sacrifice back in the ship? Who knows. Whatever his reasons, an opportunity for survival is not one that Akechi plans to squander on; attention momentarily stolen, it takes him half a second to lock on his target again and pull the trigger, one frozen solid Risen head blown to shards. ]

... Fox. [ He takes one long look at his once "teammate," addresses him by code name as though out of habit. It's severely lacking in his former pretense of camaraderie, though, almost wary in its distance. ] Can't say I expected to find you here.

[ Wherever here is. A brand new type of hell, maybe? ]

[As Goemon fades away, Fox steps forwards, giving him both a long look at that outfit (his first impression is that it makes him look like more of a Phantom Thief than the white and red outfit ever did, for whatever that's worth) and surveying Akechi for injuries. The remark from Akechi himself is only noted after the fact.]

I see. Then, you don't remember being here previously.

[It's not a question. Yusuke's been here long enough now to understand how this strange place works, for better or worse.]

[ Akechi narrows his eyes at the statement, more confused than he is suspicious. It's not as if he hadn't witnessed his fair share of supernatural events and strange, parallel worlds before, but the implication he doesn't remember his previous visit - or a longer stay, he can't even tell - is what really makes him uneasy. Even now, his mind is still calculating by nature, and the lack of information puts him in a disadvantage.

And if the Phantom Thief standing before him still sees him as an enemy - or worse, a threat - then things aren't looking in his favor. ]

There's a lot I don't remember.

[ A rare moment of honesty, though he's not willing to divulge much more than that just yet. The matter of his death and inexplicable appearance in this place is... a delicate topic. ]

I can tell that thing wasn't a shadow, though. [ He staggers when he tries to take a step forward, hand instinctively grabbing his midriff. He isn't bleeding, and there even isn't any trace of a bullet, but somehow it still burns. ] And I don't think this is the Metaverse, either.

[ He's asking without really asking. Even now, he's still too proud. ]
