I present to you: an actual demon. And I mean like, I don't know how familiar you are with DnD but she is chaos and evil given form. There is nothing good here. She literally eats souls. She serves a master who cages angels as fun trophies to torture.

Please be a good hero and smite her a bit.

sorry it took me so long to get back to you! anyway -

*u* oh reeeeeeeally? that is veeeery interesting. what kind of evil things might Caedra get up to in Hadriel?

Well for starters, keep your eyes peeled for a plotting post that I'll probably put up this Friday or Saturday. She's already killed one person, about to kill another, and then on April 1st she will murder Margaery Tyrell. Which would be enough to start an uproar but before the body is discovered by anyone she's going to run off to the temple to Rage with a bunch of Margaery's blood and summon several demons to terrorize the city and its residents. Which sounds bonkers but look it's a good time this is what demons do.

So there will be people trying to figure out what happened to Margaery and then trying to figure out the proper revenge of course (and I expect a lot of people will decide they want to kill Caedra which is very fair) and there will also need to be people to help fight the stuff she's summmoning in before they can kill a bunch of people who are not capable of fighting back.

So hey that's just one immediate example and I 100% guarantee this won't be the only time she tries something like this.

oh damn, it sounds like you've already got a huge plot going on with her!! let me go check out that plotting post to see if kiran has a way to fit into it still. (and again, sorry for slow responses, my hiatus isnt over until i get back home from my mom's house after easter!)

Yeah I kinda fell face-first into this plot on accident and now I'm just riding along with it haha. After easter should be perfectly good timing to get involved if you like - or if you don't have time or would rather wait I'm sure there will be more in the future for you!

haha no worries! i'm gonna see if i can get involved this weekend when i'm at my mom's house. and if not, maybe kiran can get involved in some of the aftermath?

how much of caedra's evil is about mental manipulation as opposed to violence? because kiran could possibly be weak to that kind of thing depending on the specifics. or, he could just hear about what caedra did and get really pissed and try to come after her. kiran has really rigid and tightly-held values and he gets pissed when he perceives others breaking them.

Manipulation is definitely not her strength. She's a compulsive and perpetual liar, but she's usually pretty direct aside from that. Demons tend toward blunt impulse and violence, unlike devils which tend to be the subtle manipulators.

I'm sure Kiran will hear about what she did, and I'm sure Caedra will be up to no good basically all the time because that's what she is, so I expect they will constantly clash and you should feel free to have Kiran react to her however you see fit.
