About Them: The second half of the Texmex Twins, Lup is Taako's identical twin sister. She's a high elf wizard with a love of cooking, high drama, and blowing shit up. She's gregarious and very social, but can come off pretty rude in her effort to be brutally honest. Due to their shitty upbringing, Lup has some Trust Issues™ and takes time to really warm up to people. Because she comes from a podcast medium, icons will never be perfectly matching, but the twins are described as being 'ethereally, femininely beautiful' and still look to be in their mid-twenties despite having lived through two centuries. Lup's tall (5'11") with a very slight, slender frame, and newly cropped, light-colored hair. She has darker skin that's covered in freckles. As an elf, she's got those trademark pointed ears. Notable CR: Her cast (of course), but she's especially close to Taako and Barry. Other important CR is: Kyna, Drake, Ephemera, Alphys, Nate, Elena, Ellie, Kate, Gren, and Wade. She's currently separated from her husband (thanks rage event!), so she's leaning a little extra heavy on her close CR as of late.

Current Plans: Right now, Lup is looking for distractions from the problems going on with Barry. I think she's going to set up a girls only trip out for orb hunting that's honestly just going to end up in explosions everywhere. Besides that, her calender is pretty open! I'd really love to see her open up a bit more about the shit that's going down right now. She likes to keep it in and pretend things are fine, but it's gonna spill out at some point.

About Them: Grumpy gay who talks like a soldier, curses like a sailor, but has a plush roboheart. Mishmash of several different women because of memories programmed into that robot brain of hers = mondo identity issues.

Recently Rey has messed around with her own memories and has temporarily reverted to one of her previous selves, Safronov - a stoic Russian assassin lady who died after being infected by a virus via one of the synthetic assholes of Rey's world. Because of this, Safronov is working on trying to bring Rey back before she ends up going postal/dying again in a way that would make god resurrection difficult or not an option at all. I should mention that she still has the ability to not-so-spontaneously combust herself and things around her, and manipulate heat, so approach with caution and do not poke if sleeping.

Lastly Rey runs the Speakeasy, and usually does welcome dance nights for the new fish on the intro logs. However, for obvious reasons she is unable to get one up this month because sadly Safronov doesn't care about parties. (Alphys has y'all covered, though.)

Notable CR: Been getting closer with the likes of Rosie (who Rey had helped cure of her dietary dilemma with the help of Carlisle) and Atem, as well as Alphys and Carlisle. Nick is still her dadbot, though the poor guy is probably stressed out ragged because of Rey's recent antics. Has some budding CR with Henry and Laura Palmer as well. Also has a mutant cat named Tripod who is a good boy, oh yes he is.
I have a CR chart for easy and quick reference!

Current Plans: As I've mentioned above, starting on February 28th Rey had attempted to meddle with her brain to try and cope with some unhealthy life changes, and is currently her previous identity known as Safronov.
On March 1st, Saf attempted to gather information regarding why her successor (Rey) would have tried to alter her own memories, which will be obvious to her close CR (feel free to belatedly tag the post if you'd like).
Additionally, I have a semi-open log for both Safronov (available from the 7th-19th of this month) and Rey (who will be back to her semi-normal self by the 30th).
If you'd like for your character to meet Safronov/check up on Rey after she's awake, I'm game for all of that noise.

So that's the gist of Rey's personal arc. After she's recovered, she should be in a better mental and emotional place, even if her methods are less than ideal for some. Otherwise I am opting Rey out of "flu season" (she's technically immune to sickness anyway), and if anyone wants to use the item drops as a mean of getting their character to run into Safronov, I'm totally game (although I'm debating on what her item will be. Maybe the photo of her original self + her mother, father, and another dude from her canon.).

AND FINALLY, with Firo gone, the Casino floor at the Speakeasy no longer has any management, though Atem will likely be the one to take his place (and hopefully not turn the whole establishment into a Duel Monsters arena gdit kid). Until that's arranged, the Casino will be left unattended. Fortunately I think the bar floor will be looked after by Alphys and Rosie while Rey recovers this month, so small miracles there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

CR you're looking for: Other soldier types would be totally aces. She's softened up a bit regarding synthetics due to the ones she's dealt with in her world + the Null really have not helped much. She is always accepting help at the Speakeasy, including maintenance, brewing/distilling, music, and setting up dance nights. I'm pretty damn open to anyone who thinks she might gel well with, though!

About Them: Currently and very sadly devoid of her trademark bright pink hair (thanks for the betrayal, Delight!), Kate sports months of root regrowth and bleach blonde lengths. She has been in Hadriel for two years now (well, excepting those two months she went home) and spends most of her time running around to keep the clinic stocked and organised. She also does a fair amount of liasing with the other organisations in the city to keep things running. Outside of that, she's often found practicing her fighting skills, archery, or simply running rooftops. Is... brief in her speech and kind of a lineface but a good drinking partner if you're ever in need of a hangover.

Notable CR: She's been here for an age so generally speaking, Kate knows a lot of the old guard, even just in passing. Clinic staff are people she always tries to get to know at least a little bit, especially since she spends most of her day there. Now that the clinic and guard HQs are next to one another, it shouldn't be surprising to see her around the guard HQ more frequently than before.

Specifically, Kate's closer CR includes: Glacius, Carlisle, Henry, Jo, Cecily, Lup, Sharon, Curufin, George, Rosen. She is neighbours with Whistler, has something of a soft spot for Rosie, is running into Komaeda frequently, has an all too tall beau called Ignis and therefore has Eddie in her life too.

NGL there's a 90% chance I've forgotten someone here... She talks to a lot of people.

Current Plans: Kate's just got back from filling her second orb with Cecily and friends and is up to her usual things at this catch all log. She will be having a great deal of fun (clock the sarcasm) during the paranoia event where she'll be getting a nice dose of the flu and feeling incredibly iffy about The Door. Other than that, hit me! If you're looking for ideas, Kate's power is the ability to see and affect other powers (permissions) and I'd love to work some plots out if anyone is interested!

CR you're looking for: Part of me says negative CR, the other part of me knows she'll just avoid anyone who pisses her off so it's kinda pointless. People who want to discuss the gods and the metaplot is always good. People who like to spar or run or drink.

About Them: Clonking around in a set of space marine armor and about six and a half feet tall, Caboose is a gentle giant, and probably the single dumbest human being you are ever likely to meet in your life. He's also quite sweet and well-meaning, which might be a good thing, since his strength is inversely proportionate to his intelligence and he can quite easily hurt or maim people without meaning to. Usually the people on his own team. In fact, don't ask him to 'help' anyone nearby. It won't end well. He will also initially try to befriend anything spooky that pops up. Don't let him do that either. Basically Caboose is here to increase everyone's stress levels while he blunders around, but at least he's super-friendly? And if you have any broken machines -- assuming he didn't break them himself -- he's got a knack for fixing things. Please treat this big blue idiot kindly. His friends yell at him enough as it is.
Notable CR: He's rooming with the other RvB folks, and his tendancy to wander off has him meeting folks on the regular Aloy, Zelda, Delmar, Sansa, and Margaery thus far.
Current Plans: Caboose is sitll kind of settling. The plans are really for other people, and he tends to just toddle along and do what he's told. If there's nothing to do, he'll go try to befriend monsters, leading to encounters that way. Wash, rinse, repeat.
CR you're looking for: A big dumb lovable idiot like him is always looking for friends. All the friends. Just not best friends because that's Church and no one's better than him, but better than Tucker, definitely.

About Them: Jack is a dictator, a villain and a toxic asshole (his journal has specific content warnings in his opt out) but he thinks he's the hero and he's both easy-going and charismatic enough generally that he can do pretty good first impressions. He is very good at manipulating people to get what he wants. Unless he's pissed and trying to kill you to alleviate stress or regain control. Control is a huge deal to Jack. Thanks to a horrific scar, he wears a mask that looks the same as his face. Anyway, he's awful in a lot of ways but if you just want to have a good time he can make for some pretty harmless CR!
Notable CR: Jack's best buddy is probably Nil. Post-yandere event he feels a little protective of Abigail. There are a bunch of other people who have caught his attention (Gren, George, Lup, Alphys, Law, Rosie) but mostly he doesn't think much of anyone and for all he seems like a guy who likes to talk to a lot of people he's keeping to himself a lot.
Current Plans: Overall, Jack is aiming to curry Hope's favor by giving people the hopeful possibility of one day getting out of here and maybe even home using a space program. While he is going to endeavor to really launch something into the atmosphere, his personal goals are mostly selfish: he sees having a satellite to do navigation and communications to be a fast way to gain power, since information is more valuable than money here. He also has a general interest in the other gods; Rage's gun cache is especially something he's into given he was a weapons manufacturer back home. Overall he just wants power and attention and luxury... not such a big ask, right?
CR you're looking for: Don't you hate people who say "everything"? But seriously, I love everything, and I wanna entrench myself further so if you're interested come at me! I am sure we can come up with something together.

He's friendly, a little dorky, and genuinely wants to help people, but at the same time he's also guarded, distrusting, and slow to actually bond with people. Despite liking to appear as though he's very composed and has had a very normal life, he's been through a lot and sometimes can't quite keep the act up, especially in Hadriel. Notable CR: Lately he's been mostly talking to Kyna because he's been a little more reclusive than normal and generally just not up for much contact with people. But Rosen, Kyna, and Adam are friends, he has a good relationship with Ephemera, Drake, George, Nate, Elena, Carlisle, Kate, Harlan, Abigail, and Will Solace, and knows a ton of other people to varying degrees.
Current Plans: He just got back from a field trip adventure and his counseling break, and is realizing it probably should've lasted a little longer. He's definitely doing a lot better than the last few months though, partially because he's decided to make an effort at being more open with friends rather than dealing with everything himself, so there's some plotting opportunity there! As for the item event, I think he's finding something of Nick Valentine's, though I haven't decided what item Lance himself is getting or who will find it so that's also a thing. For the event later this month I'm also still deciding, but Lance may try to avoid it by leaving the city and testing out a theory.

About Them: Intelligent, practical, and cautious. While generally polite to people he doesn't know, Adam usually stays distant - it takes him awhile to warm up to someone, but he's very stubborn and ambitious and pretty clever. Adam is good at planning, logical thinking, hard work, and being surprisingly patient with assholes. He does have a bit of a hidden temper, as well as a tendency toward ruthlessness and brutal practicality. He can't really fight, but can provide basic first aid, strategic help, and some mechanical and magical knowledge. Win him over and he is a fiercely loyal friend, ready to blackmail your enemies, help you bury a body, lend you his history notes, and call you on your shit.
Notable CR: Still living with Ronan, his friend from home and boyfriend who he loves a bunch (gross). He's friendly with Alphys, Lance, George, and he's quietly very happy that Sharon is back.
Current Plans: Oh man, for both my characters I haven't made a ton of plans because this month is super busy IRL. If anyone wants to find a cheap robot toy that belongs to him, hit me up! Otherwise, he might be getting sick during the event later in the month, but any plans for that are pretty up in the air depending on my busyness level.
CR you're looking for: I'd love for Adam to start cultivating more friendships with people he feels like he can open up to. Also, he's pretty good at getting along with people who can come off as jerks, as he has experience and patience, as long as he thinks there's more to them than just being a dick.

About Them: Your typical anime grouchypants loner asshole, only with sexy tattoos and earrings and not a teenager. There's a good writeup here for visual cues and other things. Yes, he really is a doctor, and a pirate captain.
Notable CR: Atem, Michael, Seel, and sometimes the elves. He's on acquaintance-level with a lot more people but doesn't socialize outside of work much. Getting to know Zelda.
Current Plans: After assisting Zelda with the Null, he's been just sort of patrolling the wasteland making sure there aren't any more within a week's journey of the city. He'll be back just in time for the panic-flu and being a doctor with an already heavy pessimistic streak, he's going to be off the damn wall paranoid about everything. Enjoy!

OH FUCK ME ITEM EVENT well. Plan with me!!! I'm open to Law finding literally anyone's shit, seeing the glimpse, and putting it down and going on about his day, but if your character's thing really needs to get to them and you have no other takers, hmu. Conversely, I'm having his item be this ridiculous shirt and have no finder yet. The logo on the shirt is kind of a giveaway if your character has ever seen his flag in his apartment, otherwise it can be fun figuring out that it's his.
CR you're looking for: anyone is welcome to throw themselves at him to see if they stick (I am constantly surprised by what works) with the caveat that he's a prickly cactus and sometimes it won't last. He's not nice and I have to remember that. Easy roads to CR: have a medical condition he can treat or at least examine, be a different species (he loves comparative physiology), be a fellow doctor, scientist, or pirate. He's not as hype on fighting as some One Piece characters but he will spar with someone - or fight monsters with them - if they want. There is a permissions post in his journal for anyone wanting/needing to mess around with his Ope-Ope ability or anything medical/body horror related.

Personality-wise, man, she can go from cheerful to murderous in seconds but just be aware she is literally made of evil and wants to kill you all even if she's trying very hard not to act like it. Maybe some day she'll make some friends.

Notable CR: Not much yet, always looking for more!

Current Plans: Aside from still trying to figure out how to use a phone and what a moped even is, Caedra has discovered Rage's temple and hey it kinda feels like home in there! She's strongly considering summoning some buddies from the Abyss using that temple as a summoning point which would give you all some more monsters to fight (and mods I hope that's ok, I did see someone else asked a similar question at one point and it sounded like it wasn't a problem then but I'd give you all a heads up if this were to actually happen). For that, she needs blood from intelligent humanoids aka you lot.

Now, I am down to not let her achieve this because she is awful and should probably be stopped. Alternatively, I am down to let her achieve this because it would be fun and terrifying. If people want to find out about her being a constant terror I am very okay with negative CR. If anyone wants to volunteer their character as a murder victim, for this or for any other purpose, she would be thrilled as that's really all she wants.

But yeah other than that, she's still brand new and trying to figure out her place here and what she wants long-term. It will probably involve frequent attempts at destruction and death. It's her favorite.

CR you're looking for: I am open to absolutely anything. As noted above, if you specifically are okay with violence and potential character death and for some reason want to volunteer, let's talk. I expect there to be consequences for this since nobody should just get murdered and then have nobody come try to throw her in jail or get revenge or whatever the community feels is appropriate. She'll have to learn this lesson sooner or later.

march 20-event end: wow! this event starts on my birthday! and what a present! being mysophobic, charles will definitely be avoiding uh. just about everyone he can. it'll probably be hard to tell if that's paranoia or just how he normally is. don't bother asking him to take care of you, he definitely won't. he can give advice on how to make yourself soup or something, just...from a safe distance.

About Them: Rejected Batman Villain with with anger issues and the sole survivor of his squad/adopted family, who were killed fighting Freelancers. One of whom happens to be in Hadriel. And like 90% of the characters in his canon, Ephemera did not take the loss especially well. He started calling himself Sharkface (yes, really) and devoted himself to revenge. It took him a stint in prison and teaming up with a group of literal space pirates, but he managed to track down the remains of Freelancer. Aaaaand then immediately got himself KOed. Since coming to Hadriel, he's started calling himself Ephemera again, trying to sort out his shit, and has made some genuine friendships with people. He's got a fuckton of scars, one functioning eye, and is a surprisingly good artist. He cannot, however, cook. He's still a jerk with anger issues most of the time, but he's working on it.
Notable CR: Close friends with Lup, Kyna, and even close with Drake, has an understanding with most of the other RvB canon, and is doing therapy with Lance Sweets. It's going much better than expected.
Current Plans: No big plans right now, but Ephemera is starting to think about the future. Which is terrifying to him and he needs drinking buddies to cope with this.

Trust doesn't come easily for him at all, but he can find enjoyment in the company of others whether he trusts them or not. He has a very strong view of right vs. wrong that he is unyeilding about, but it might not align with a common view of right/wrong as he basically comes from high tech Mad Max. His default is always bright colors, he is often dirty and his clothes are very worn down and he has a few tattoos on his forearms.
Notable CR: He's new to the game, but Party Poison is his actual brother and Jet Star, Fun Ghoul and Girl are his found family from his canon.
Current Plans: He'll be working through some emotional things and settling in during his first month. Seeking out companionship outside of his family will be a big priority, because they're making him more emotional than he's comfortable being.
CR you're looking for: I'm open to anything. I would love to find some characters who'd actually flirt back with him or be interested in sleeping with him, because that's a huge way that he connects with others. He won't push past anyone's boundaries on this if he sees that it makes them uncomfortable or they tell him they're not interested. I do enjoy CR with characters who find him amusing or characters who are a lot smarter than he is, because he thinks he's pretty smart, but he's only 19 and has no formal education beyond when he was very young.

He has the voice of a Southern duck; the ego, self-indulgence, and maturity level of a Roman emperor; and an, ah... intense if... moody, feisty personality!

In modern times he got released by a cute little boy, he got to share a body with him, won some duels and tournaments and eventually fought (read: played trading card games) for the fate of the world again. He won with a little help from his friends, got his memories back, and tried to finally move to the afterlife. That did not happen, he got stuck in Hadriel instead. I cannot stress this enough... absolutely ☆ALL OF THEM☆. Atem is incredibly easy to make CR with. The good kind almost always. He truly loves people even if he's had his heart a little hurt lately. His ideas about friendship and unity might come off very strong sometimes, he can also be clingy (not physically at least...), so I apologize for that.
I really wish he could strengthen the current CR he has right now too. Things haven't been great for him lately.

Current Plans: Ignis spent a couple of weeks in February out getting an orb with Kate and a small crew, and will head out again in March with Noctis and his other friends. He will be hit with the Paranoia Flu, likely resulting in some arguments and potentially people seeing some rather more unpleasant sides of the usually collected Ignis Scientia.

With the presence of his friends seeming more likely to stick, Ignis has started to relax into the idea that they might be there for the long haul. With that, of course, comes the problems of dealing with the things that he knows about his future, as well as the things that they know. He's trying to (privately) work on ways to mitigate the potential of ending up blind in Hadriel.

The kid has a lot of issues that can make him treat others poorly and make some bad decisions, but he really does try to be a good person, I promise. Notable CR: So obviously, as an OC, he has no castmates, and personally I'm not super involved in the metaplot of the game as a player. I'm also relatively new, so I haven't had too many chances to build CR with Kiran yet. (Also, some of his CR has dropped, sob.) So in other words, his CR is small at the moment and he doesn't have a whole lot of people he actually spends time with on a regular basis. It comes with being a tsundere loner, maybe.
Current Plans: Kiran still has not fully accepted that he is stuck in Hadriel and needs to put his desire to get home on the back burner. His belief that he's getting home any day now is turning into an excuse for why he shouldn't care too much about the other people here. Right now, he's out doing Hope Temple field trips, with the hope (heh) that it can somehow lead to discovering new information about where he is and how to get home. No other plans for when he comes back from that.
CR you're looking for: Kiran is the kind of character that's built for negative CR and dramatic moments. Without friends, he's just some character complaining on the network and avoiding people. But with friends, he's....... the kind of person who can waffle between being incredibly loyal to them and letting them down due to his emotional problems. If that kind of juicy drama sounds like a grand ol' RP time to you, then we have some potential to have a lot of fun together. :D

Also, once he does start taking Hadriel seriously, his strong sense of duty might be able to turn him into the kind of person who takes charge and gets motivated. But until he gets to that point, he doesn't want to make himself emotionally vulnerable. In other words, he needs to start meeting people, or needs to have things happen to him, that shake him out of that mindset and make him start to take it all seriously.

I would also love for him to start making enemies in Hadriel - basically, anybody who Kiran can butt heads with over the principles and opinions that he holds very strongly. I love the idea of negative CR turning positive, or vice versa, as well.
Notes: As mentioned above, I am on hiatus during March for NaNoRenO. However, I'm still really interested in getting Kiran out there more, meeting new characters, and having new threads with characters he's met previously!!! I'd be more than happy to start threads during March, pick away at them slowly,

About Them: Harlan is a SORCERER!!! which sounds cooler than he is. He's from a modernized DnD campaign, where he works for RUNS HIS OWN adventuring guild with his pals Tucker and Kyna (thanks canon update) and (still) spends a lot of time pulling hilarious goofs on his friends instead of actually doing his goddamn job (except he's The Boss now so he actually does his job a lot too). He has absolutely zero chill, which can either mean he's the most enthusiastic friend ever or he's super emotional and can't always rein himself in (or both, both is good). He's super social and loves talking to people, though he's been quietish since landing in Hadriel because wow this town does not quit?? He can read people pretty well (usually? sometimes sarcasm is lost on him) and he's very straightforward, which... can either be a pro or a con depending on your personal taste, whoops. About Them: Michael is human, and he... looks human... but he's also kind of possessed? By, uh, himself. It's complicated. The tl;dr version is that magic is (very secretly) a thing in his world, and it behaves according to the user's belief. Michael believes his magic is actually a ghost monster- so it is! Neato! Michael himself doesn't look off or unusual at all, but people who can sense that sort of thing are in the clear to do so. I have a general info/permissions post for both Michael and his not-so-friendly ghost, so have a look over there, please!

As for his general presence, he's a pretty quiet, laid-back seeming dude, but he's terrible at human interaction that isn't with people he already knows, and sometimes he messes that up too. Passive for the most part, unless you piss him off. Constantly Tired.

Notable CR: Michael is closest with Harlan Halliday, who he is currently dating. His other friends/close contacts include but are not limited to: Carlisle, Kyna, Rosie, Law, Lance, Delmar, George, Abigail, Hayden, Newt, Rhy, the clinic staff, and probably people I've forgotten. His negative/rocky CR includes mostly Yukari (which might be one-sided tbh) and Atem.

Current Plans: I always put in this spot that if you're a killer and you want to get eaten by a murder ghost, you are free to sign up, but now it's open to everyone, murder not required! During the fear event this month, Michael is going to see almost everyone as a threat. Which means the Visitor is also going to see them as a threat! Awesome! About Them: Delmar is a gentle and exceedingly sincere person who could accurately be described as someone who wears their heart on their sleeve. He gets very emotionally invested very quickly, he uses a lot of emphatic gestures and will cry at the drop of a hat. He currently runs the bakery (which is on a slow down since Hope's attack)

Current Plans:
What I have currently planned with people is that George will find Delmar's item (his mini statue of Michelangelo's David) and hopefully putting up an open bakery log for anyone who wants to be involved in helping to run the bakery. Delmar is available for anyone who wants a helper when the sickness/paranoia sets in. He will not be getting sick himself though. He's also available to find items if he's wanted.
