About Them:

• Jon is a good person. He's kind, humble, brave, heroic, compassionate, passionate, thoughtful, eternally weary, and introverted. He has leadership qualities, skill with weapons, a strong drive to do the right thing, occasional serious flares of temper, and a history of having a pitiless streak towards the relatively few people he considers true enemies.
• At 23, he's recently been made a king, a huge vote of confidence from the people around him, who do not care that he's the bastard son of a nobleman... in a culture where being born out of wedlock means many people will automatically think you're probably a bad person unless you work hard to prove them wrong.
• Less than a year ago, he was the democratically elected Lord Commander of an undermanned, underfunded, ostensibly celibate military border guard. A faction eventually murdered him for his decision to save the lives of a group of oppressed people they saw as enemies. He was raised from the dead and developed major existential angst as a result, though it's been ebbing for a few months now.
• He has a cool sword and a cool albino direwolf companion named Ghost.
• He's pretty obsessed with ice zombies, but it's not unreasonable given that about 100,000 of them are about to invade his kingdom back at home.

Notable CR: Jon lives with his sister, Sansa Stark, and the other people from their world, Margaery Tyrell and Daenerys Targaryen. He also chats with Kelson and has recently joined the Guard. He has other acquaintances, but he's only been in game since April, so I probably owe them a tag.
Current Plans: Jon has just been settling in, dealing with the climate (this is terrible! He's used to cold weather!), joining the Guard, learning about electric lights, the usual. He has a starter on the speakeasy mingle, and will be losing his ability to handle weapons in this month's upcoming event, along with his knowledge/memory of how he got all those scars on his chest and abdomen.

How does Jon feel about people who are wolves? Which Tucker here will be stuck as during the fear event. Oops. In any circumstance, though, stuck-as-dog or not, Tucker would absolutely zero in on someone with a giant wolf companion like, hello friend. I'd say they could be sparring partners but Tucker has a gun and is a cheater? But hey he could be worth a shot (no pun intended probably).

About Them: Henry is a hubristic and testy 14th century knight, with a good heart and strong morals despite his flaws. Relentless in all his pursuits, he's hardworking and dedicated on one hand and aggressive and critical on the other. He has an impetuous streak and a short temper, but he also possesses a penchant for self-reflection and betterment. While his trust is not easy to win, once won, he's a steadfast ally.

He's one of the leaders of the Guard (see: undermanned).

Notable CR: Kate Galloway is his last friend standing, but he's friendly with his co-commander of the Guard, Nick Valentine, as well as Atem and Pell. He thinks well of all guardsmen (except Rome rn, whoops) though he engages with them more formally.
Current Plans: He keeps himself occupied with Guard work, training and teaching a few people how to wield some weapons, but that's it atm. Here's his plotting comment for the event. Happy birthday, Hotspur... 8'D Once the city moves he'll be aggressively exploring.

About Them: A short (4'8), dirty teenager from a post-apocalyptic desert who kind of toppled a government and really doesn't want to talk about it. She's kind of a big deal in her canon for basically surviving so much and having famous parents, but the attention makes her feel awkward. She's unnamed, as people from her culture choose their own name and she's never taken one. Her life was kind of a dumpster fire with all that tyrannical dictatorship and mind control nonsense, so Girl's pretty good at the whole survivalist gig. Her canon is rife with war and a government trying to destroy personal identity to the point that Girl has a (un)healthy sense of paranoia. In the City people lived under strict rules, were forced to take pills to dampen their emotions, and color, musical and other types of expression were grounds for a death sentence. Girl lived outside the City within the rebellion and as such, she believes heavily in color and artistry. She does not like authority and is socially awkward from years of being alone after a tragedy. She's almost always in the company of her black cat, who happens to have a computer chip implanted in him. He was used as a spy for the enemy, but Girl would pretty much die for him anyway.

Despite all that, she's pretty nice once she gets to know people. She likes people with a little sass, adores animals, and deep beneath her veneer of pessimism, really just wants to believe good wins in the end.

Notable CR: She's closest to the other Killjoys (Fun Ghoul, Party Poison, Jet Star and Kobra Kid), and friends with George and Whistler.

Current Plans: Girl will be losing her sense of touch during the 'senses fail' event. It could be interesting to get her hurt during this event since she'll have difficulty recognizing pain. Initially, she's going to think it's great: no pain=ability to do stupid stuff, so during the first part of the event she'll be up for helping other people out as needed. But after a few days, it's going to get old and she's going to freak out about it. Realizing she can't feel while playing with her cat=the worst.

She's probably going to get very moody around the time of relocation. Both the ocean and snow worlds sound awful to her, so if the gang ends up one of those places, she's going to sulk hard. She's never seen snow or the ocean, so everyone can put up with her being the most belligerent type of tourist.

CR you're looking for:

+Teenagers! Canonically, Girl rarely gets to be around anyone close to her own age. She's making some attempts at friendships with some older teens, but I'd love to expand the pool and get her more. She definitely considers herself all grown up (hard not to when most of the population doesn't make it past the early twenties) but she's still a kid and could really use a reminder to just be a teenager.

+Sheltered types! I'd like for her to befriend or have some sort of positive interactions with people who she can wonder if they'd ever survive in her world. Let her try to tell them about living on the run, hoarding supplies, fighting for scraps, ect. and maybe they can teach her about this mysterious thing called 'regular bathing'.

+Sarcasm! Girl can be a total brat when given the opportunity (re: her constantly trying to roast her crew on the network) and I'd love to pit her against people that can give her that chance. Characters who can give as good as they get and don't get offended easily would be really fun to have her snark at.

+Negative CR! I love negative CR, so anytime you want to have your character get into it with Girl please be my guest. Like I said above, she can be a total brat and I'd be fun if her rough side rubbed people the wrong way. Or her obsessive need to keep her cat safe got someone hurt (ex. her cat and another person are in danger, she saves the cat first). Or an ideological clash! She's a total anarchist with major trust issues and she's been bad-mouthing the gods since she arrived. I could definitely see her getting on someone's bad side with her stubborn approach to her beliefs. I'm also totally up for fights! Girl will lose, badly.

+Literally anyone who'll deal with a 15-year-old. Girl spends most of her canon dealing with adults of all kinds of personalities. While still stunted, she's more emotionally mature than half the folks in her canon and knows that being able to work with people is necessary to continued survival. Give her the flimsiest reason to stick around and we can make it work! Because, despite everything, she's attention starved. All the time she spent on her own really makes her want the excuse to be around people again. She's the ultimate stray: feed her scraps and you'll never get rid of her.

About Them: Rose is a CRAU from a lovely little city called Haven. While there, she was experimented on by Dr. Phillip Kite and turned into a flesh-eating monster. However, she recently fixed that issue thanks to Carlisle and Rey so she's back on the right track to normalcy. Or, well. At least as normal as you can get in this place.

She pulls stupid stunts to get a rise out of the cave residents and hopefully make people laugh and have a bit of fun. Rose is all about wearing masks and usually plays the role of the harmless fool so people underestimate how dangerous and awful she can really be.
Notable CR: She's roommates with Alphys, pretty close to Rey, getting closer to Carlisle, talks to Atem pretty frequently, and also gets baked with Taako on the regular... But otherwise, she's a bit of a social butterfly and just kind of gets around and makes several surface-level relationships.
Current Plans: Her plotting comment for the event is here and she'll be losing her voice! This means she'll be a sad, quiet little thing that might aggressively text kaomoji at people in frustration.
CR you're looking for: I'm really down for anything. She gets on well with most people and doesn't like conflict, but also can be rather opinionated and very passionate about what she believes in so tends to clash with some people over.

About Them: Jo is a tiny blonde girl who knows how to kill monsters and exorcise demons and ghosts. In Hadriel she focuses on being helpful (which she did back home) and trying to make sure everyone stays alive. She's friendly enough unless provoked.
Notable CR: She lives with Pell and George. She's close to Kate...Aaand, most everyone else has left. She's feeling a little lonely.
Current Plans: Jo is going to be losing her sense of direction. She'll be lost as hell for most of the event but she probably won't even ask for help. Whoops. As it is she'll be helping anyone on the network or that she comes across. That's something!

About Them: Stone-faced loner, no heart of gold here, just pure sour umeboshi inside. Law is a pirate captain, a doctor, and has a crazy overpowered Devil Fruit. All the good stuff can be found here.
Notable CR: Atem, Michael, Lance, Fingon, Curufin, Maglor, and I guess Caedra? I mean stuff happens. Law is at least on acquaintance terms with a LOT of people but he only really likes maybe three of you. It's not you it's him.
Current Plans: Hopefully chatting with Sorrow and getting some info, or at least a good talk. For the Fear event he's losing his ability to use his Devil Fruit ability, so plot for that here please to keep my ducks in a row. So far he's going to get injured (again) by Lup, almost drown, possessed by Atem's spirit, scared by Kate and I'm up for anything else you got.

After that he'll be super happy to be around the ocean again like you don't even know. Investigating the Door, and he's on the security rotation for Name if anyone wants to play with that side-plot.

CR you're looking for: Law loves comparative physiology so non-humans are good with him, he'd like to become the go-to health care specialist no matter what the species. He's a prickly cactus so it can be hard to get to know him or stay friends with him, he doesn't like socializing, but he's far more open with other medical or scientific types. ALSO...he's one month into his Confusion blessing and hasn't used it yet, so if anyone needs an excuse to lose a memory, he's your dude.

About Them:First thing that anyone will learn that is that he's an asshole. He's better than you, and he's okay with you knowing it. Get him in front of a game or computer though and you'll learn it's worth putting up with his attitude because he is good at what he does. He's a good inventor and computer nerd.

Easiest way to get Kaiba to decide you're worth his time is to be useful, or dragons. Bbe a dragon, have a dragon, just dragons.
Notable CR: Mostly canon-mate CR at this point but I'd like to branch out. Atem (rival and friend) and Mokuba. It can safely be assumed that if you mess with Mokuba you will need to deal with his big brother.
Current Plans: Kaiba is very goal oriented, and believes he's capable of accomplishing anything and everything. In the month he's been here, he's come up with the following plans:

1. Long Term: Solve the Door – He has to be the one to solve the door. It has to be him, because he's Seto fucking Kaiba and he doesn't rely on anyone else. If he can get himself, Mokuba, and Atem back then everything will work out. He’ll have all of his resources again, Mokuba will be safe, and in Domino the title of King of Games has worth. Atem will have to duel again and see all of the upgrades he’s made since that bastard disappeared.
   
2. Long Term: Remove all dependence on the gods –He trusts the gods even less than he trusts the other people here. They control too much, and he has to find a way to remove as much of that control as possible. The improved tech is the obvious solution.


3. Short Term: Learn to Fight – It’s dangerous here and it’s still his job to protect Mokuba. Someone else took that from him by creating his robot dragon. While he’s not going to get rid of something useful (especially if it looks like a blue eyes) he needs to be better than it. It can be back-up, but he’s the primary protector. Plus, if Atem wants to play with swords it’s just another arena that he can beat him. And in that, he has the obvious advantage.


4. Short Team: Improve the Tech and remove dependence of the Gods – No one has been able to figure out the door yet, it must be because they don’t have the tools required. Steps:

About Them: Alucard is a misfit, a former pirate, a captain in the royal privateers, and a flirtatious rogue. He could charm the socks off of a cat. He's a performer, and in general he makes very few true enemies. (He might annoy you, but that's a different story.) He is almost always smiling -- he'd rather keep his more contentious thoughts or emotions to himself. He'd rather keep a lot of himself to himself, truth be told. Some of his most notable features include his long, brassy hair that he keeps pinned back in a tail, his dark blue eyes like the sea in a storm, and the sapphire in his one eyebrow. Also of note he is sea-tanned and in general a very handsome man. Also he can do ~magic~, and see it for that matter, and he has a permissions post up for you to fill out if you would like CR with him and you have magic yourself!
Notable CR: His most notable mention is Rhy Maresh, his roommate and also his former lover from home (it's Complicated). He's also a member of the Guard, though I haven't gotten him as involved with them as much as I would like yet!
Current Plans: I'm thinking of tagging into the Guard log, so there will probably be a thread there for that at least. Also Alucard will be losing his sight for the Fear event, since his special powers are based on that sense as well. I'm definitely looking for anything I can get as far as threads with him!
CR you're looking for: I would love for Alucard to have more friends/people to turn to in times of need/people to talk to on a regular basis, things like that!

CHARACTERCharacter Name: Lavernius Tucker

About Them: Tucker is a colorful space marine who is spending more time outside of his noticeable aqua-ish armor than in it. Sarcastic and foul-mouthed, when he isn't hitting on people, he's biding his time with his team, egging on people like Epsilon and Wash, and apparently streaking at feasts. Underneath all this surface awesome, however, is a man trying to deal with the fact that his best friend died, that his other one apparently gets shot, and the fact that he feels like he's letting his people down. But it's way better to deal in sarcasm than to question his abilities as a leader.

He's also the father of an adorable alien son, seen below.
Notable CR: He spends a lot of time with Blue Team (Epsilon, Carolina, and Wash especially), and he's recently met Lup and Taako who is probably the best/worst thing that ever happened to him/all of Hadriel. He's having fun with Margaery and Serah, too, as he tries to find a way to create a cat army.
Current Plans: Tucker is going to be a bit of a wreck with the coming event; he will be losing his ability to see or hear his teammates, or read anything they write. Abandonment is a bit of a big thing for Tucker, especially abandonment by his friends, and he's...going to freak out. But once he can figure out that they're still there, he might calm down but hang out in the frustrated lane.
Alpha coming in is going to fuck him up, too. That's... that's a whole other can of worms that has some heavy emotional conflict dealing with death and their standing with Wash. He might need to drink. And the fact that he's starting to have some weird complicated things for Epsilon brewing in the background... trust me, it's a damn mess.
CR you're looking for: Tucker loves friends! People he can be social with, can talk to, can do some annoying stuff, maybe a few reckless quests or pranks or something. Also, parents? Any parents out there? If you're looking for bonding parent talk, look no further! Sure, he taught the birds and bees to his alien son by letting him look at porn on the internet, but that's just normal!
Also, negative CR is always fun!!

About Them: Newt is super smart, super arrogant, and super obnoxious. He's also super enthusiastic, which usually makes him at least kind of fun to be around, but that's been tempered mildly now that he's stuck in Hadriel. He'll bounce back eventually, probably? Anyway, Newt's from a version of Earth that's being invaded by massive Godzilla-style aliens called Kaiju, and he's a biologist that studies them. THE biologist, really. He's lowkey highkey obsessed with them, so step right up if you want him to talk your ear off about how awesome and amazing the Kaiju are. There's no Kaiju in Hadriel so that's a bummer (SORT OF???) but there are a lot of crazy weird other species lurking in the caves, which is what he's currently interested in. That'll go well, surely. Newt's impulsive and is incredibly dense when it comes to other people's feelings and stuff, but he means well...? Mostly? IDK MAN Newt's a hot mess and is very Extra and has a habit of infuriating everyone around him, but this is mostly due to his unwillingness to rein himself in. Gotta be all Newt all the time, dude.

Notable CR: Newt splits his time between the lab, where he's hanging with Alphys and his various LAB INTERNS (George, Cashmere, and Michael who has been demoted to intern now apparently) who help him with monster/mechanical stuff, or taking care of his budding monster menagerie at home with Hayden and his roommate Semiyon. He's got a uhhhh weird booty call thing going on with Tucker, and some budding CR with a few other folks around town.

Current Plans: He's currently trying to build a bestiary (his progress got reset with the Hope orb thing and he's Mad about it) and generally study all the monsters around town. He has two salamanders and now... a... mimic... and some Mongolian death worms because he's a fucking idiot. After the city moves later this month, I'll do another open network post with him asking for help with his monster project again, so if you wanna get in on that, that'll be a good opportunity! He spends a lot of time in the lab too if you'd like to bother him earlier! There's an open lab mingle here for the month of May.

I have a plotting post for the Fear event here also if you'd like to do something with Newt for that! OH AND I KEEP FORGETTING but Newt tried to catch some flying monkeys at the intro log and it went Poorly so he's a bit beat up at the moment. Expect him to be a whiny brat about his enormous suffering for the next monthish.

Because of his sheltered, restrictive upbringing, Yusuke is socially awkward. He doesn't read others or the mood well, and his peers tend to shun him as strange or eccentric because he does everything in pursuit of #Aesthetic. He's eloquent, old-fashioned (for a teenager), and dramatic... about everything... why is he so extra........

About Them: Hayden is a hyperactive youngest who is not nearly as young as he looks, acts, or sounds. He's pretty candid about being roughly 130 years old, but it's hard to take him seriously when he's always screaming, crying, or shoving inedible things in his mouth. A lesser demon, he has the power to create dimensional portals and create and manipulate dark energy, but he hasn't practiced it, so really he only teleports within the city. He has small baby devil horns on his forehead, a heart-tipped devil's tail, bright red hair, and big green eyes. His skin is also pale in kind of a ghoulish pallor. Generally he looks like he needs a lot more sunlight and healthy eating patterns. He's trying.

Generally, he has a gentle and fearful personality. Despite being a demon, he was born with a peculiarly human sense of right and wrong. He has no apparent demonic inklings, and that's the way he prefers to stay. Hayden's near obsessed with the idea he'll be allowed to stay in a place where nothing bad ever happens if he behaves very well all the time. His whole view of himself and the world rests on the hope that he has for the future. It's a hope that borders on flat-out denial.

Hayden is also very loud. I'm sorry for his noise.
Notable CR: He lives with Harlan and is close with Delmar and...just basically loves everyone unconditionally honestly. If he's talked to you be probably considers you his best friend.
Current Plans: Here's his plotting post for the upcoming Fear event! About Them: Party Poison's a young man from a post-apocalyptic distopia, and the leader of the Fabulous Killjoys, a well known crew in the Zones. The world was been through a series of wars, and Battery City is the only city left in the now desert-ridden California (and, as far as they know, the only city left in the world). It is governed by a company called Better Living Industries, which rules over the citizens of the city in a stiffling dictatorship, where emotions must be eradicated and individuality is illegal. Party and his crew are Killjoys, young people who've left the city in order to live free out on the desert and fight for what's right. His crew was in charge of protecting a little Girl that was said to have the power to end BLI and save them all. During a rescue mission to get her back from one of BLI's headquarters, the crew unfortunately died in battle.

Party is paranoid, cranky and rude on first glance. And he continues to be so, but he's also a very awkward young man, with some complicated ideas in his head that he's not sure how to communicate. There are ways to get on his good side, but good luck finding those. But here's an easy hint: be good to his family, and he will notice.

Notable CR: His crew, often referred as his family: The Girl, Kobra Kid, Fun Ghoul, and Jet Star. He hasn't really made any other friends, though sometimes he can be seen wandering around, or responds to some network posts.

Current Plans: Being fucked up by all events, basically. Growing increasingly resentful towards the gods, no matter who they are. He's also going to be around more and more than helping people in the city, he's just going to try and establish little trade deals with people to make sure his crew is taken care of. He has no interest in helping the gods or the Null in any way, only in doing what he can to make sure his crew is safe.

About Them: Sonya is a Special Forces army officer, and one of the few warriors deemed worthy by the gods to defend Earthrealm. She's survived the death-match martial tournament, being trapped in an enemy realm, and is one of the few Chosen warriors who survived after the end of the Outworld invasion. Thanks to these experiences, she's not the easiest or warmest people to get along with, but she doesn't go entirely out of her way to push people away either; more, she's;s pragmatic and prefers to keep a professional demeanor. Having very view friends outside the force, those she does keep in contact with are almost treated like family; any loss or pain they feel, she takes it on herself and does what she can to try and offer relief-or at the very least will ask who's ass she needs to kick.

Though never outright in canon, there are hints that Sonya's developed Survivors Guilt after the Outworld invasion, taking the form of vivid nightmares, insomnia, stress headaches and the constant guilt of wondering why she was one of the few lucky ones. Years in the military will mean she rarely speaks of her traumas, seeing it as pointless, and almost a weakness.

A member of the special forces, Sonya's seen her fair share of combat (and loss), and earned a number of physical scars in the process. Her right leg is covered in old burn scars from an ambush in a raid, while her left shoulder bears both an old stab wound (once more a lucky shot) as well as what look like laser burns from those who know what to look for. Most of Sonya's clothing is in the form of pants and shirts with sleeves, so unless she's dressing up or down for something, it's unlikely they'll be in plain view.
Notable CR: Fellow guardsmen, several times a week (baring God induced events) she gives combat lessons to Margery
Current Plans: After some thought, Sonya will be loosing the ability to walk for the 'senses fail' event. Given her drive to assist people and position in the guard, this is not going to be a fun time for her. Be prepared for a very bitchy, short tempered military officer who'll need assistance but won't ask for it.
I may put up a post with her in the 'senses' fail post, but definitely count on tagging.

On a much lighter note, at some point, I do plan on having Sonya find an 80s era 'record player and random box of vinyl.
