Additional Info: US Eastern Time, and my tag speed varies during the workweek (sometimes more medium-slow, but sometimes fast), but I try to boomerang on the weekends as much as life permits. I'm always down to backtag, or boomerang if we need to get through a plotty event thread.

About Them: Nothing too unusual about his appearance, just an average dude in his early thirties. He's fit/in shape, but not super muscular. Not many people would be privy to this, but he does have three tattoos and they're hella sexy (one on his right forearm, one on his abdomen, and one on his left shoulder). Personality-wise, he is definitely a CHAOTIC GOOD type. He probably comes across (or tries to) as someone who doesn't take things too seriously, at least on the outside, but he is definitely capable of being serious and tender, etc.. He likes to have fun, he's a bit of a hedonist, he'll sleep with someone in every port of call if he can (he travels a lot since he works counter-terrorism), he avoids pursuing romantic relationships simply due to the nature of his work but he also feels like a bit of a mess emotionally sometimes, not sure he'd really be that good with anyone/for anyone beyond friendship and casual sex, so yeah, he avoids that stuff (at least for now). That being said, he's pretty open with his emotions when he feels comfortable with someone. He doesn't like authority, but he'll admit when he's fucked up, too. So in a nutshell: stubborn military guy who's a little rough around the edges with a heart of gold, a love for life and living life on his own terms. He has a big heart underneath his bravado, and he loves to flirt so he's probably obnoxious to some people, no doubt.

Notable CR: He's still pretty new, but he likes Cashmere a whole lot, Kyna is fun to talk to, he's sad George is dead but he thinks she's cool. Margaery seems like a good soul, and Caedra is...interesting, to say the least. XD

Current Plans: Really just settling in still. The Sorrow event messed with his head really good, in a not-fun way, and he admitted to some things to quite a few people that he would have preferred not really talking about out loud to anyone. :| He'll be losing his sight and then some fine motor skills for the Fear event so more fun times lay ahead for him! His plotting comment is here!

• Found family!! This is my jam, and I love all permutations of this. Damien is hella protective of people he knows and cares about. But honestly, it doesn't take much for him to care about someone in a lot of situations so he can pretty easily get attached and want to look after someone. So really, I'm down for anyone who could be a pseudo-sibling type figure for him, I would absolutely love anyone he could kind of "DAD" in a way lol. He had a kid he walked out on for a lot of complicated reasons but largely due to his own insecurities and messed up life. He thinks about his kid SO MUCH and while he's not the most "mature" or "responsible" guardian, he loves with all his heart (he's the type of dad that would let the kids eat cookies for dinner, but then read to them and cuddle them all night long if they wanted), so anyway - anyone he could kind of "parent" in some way would be A++++


• People to troll him/tease him, etc. because that's always fun


• I don't shy away from negative CR! It could be particularly interesting to have CR that starts out with "I kind of really dislike you/hate you" and then gradually becomes positive


• FRIENDS!! In particular, some guy friends. In his canon, his BFF and platonic life-mate is his partner, Michael Stonebridge. They're attached at the hip and they'd do anything for each other. No one could replace Mikey, but he's missing just having a really good guy friend/brother-in-arms


• More ladies to flirt with lol, sorry he's shameless :/


• But also, anyone he really could genuinely connect with, guy or girl, romantic/platonic, whatever. Just really building up that deep trust and connection and seeing where the CR goes from there

Kelson super needs a father figure/brother BRO FRIENDS. He lost his own dad at 14 when he was murdered and relied heavily on his father's friends who became like surrogate parents to him, and here, well, he's alone here and he misses their guidance! Go ahead :D Dad him.

XD Should be interesting? Especially considering the wonderful stuff Caedra told him about Kelson.

Or Will Solace. Really, a father figure who is actually there, remembers your name, doesn't recite random haiku's and send you happy 3rd birthday cards when your like 12, is awesome.

I could easily see him playing dad to both your guys! At his current canon point, Damien hasn't met his son yet, but he does have a 15 year old son and loves him a whole lot (when he meets him) so it's just in his nature. :') He's a pretty chill/mellow guy in general so as CR builds, he'll definitely be there to "what the fuck" over any questionable choices made, and provide some loving paternal guidance. XD He cares about people super easily/fast so yes I could definitely see this happening with both Will and Kelson.

And despite what Caedra said, he's gonna just sit Kelson down and have a nice long heart to heart when the time comes. :P

But really, he's pretty much non-judgmental except for a few absolutes (don't kill innocent people, don't be an asshole, etc.) And I mean, he'd definitely remember Will's birthday and give him an actual cake and card on the day.

I'm definitely looking forward to all of this!

He sounds perfect! I can't wait to start building some CR with him. He especially misses having a father figure to go 'what the fuck' over his questionable choices, point out what he did wrong and what he in fact should have done. Since I'm sure it's really only a matter of time in Hadriel! 18 year olds think they're invincible and know everything, right? Kelson, naturally, thinks he knows more than he actually does.

I can't wait for all this, and that beautiful heart to heart when it finally happens.

As for Will? Damien's already scoring 10/10 for remembering his name and getting a card and a cake and not getting completely distracted by the next hot piece of ass he sees. :D.

Kat gets a father figure in canon, who she misses a ton here in game, so a new dad figure would be super excellent. Especially if she can tease him a little like the brat she can be

I very badly want cr with Damien after watching him from afar. Give it to me!!! To that end I'm offering up Tucker here; they're both hedonists who don't tend to form lasting emotional attachments so that's... something??? He will definitely also troll him. And they can be bros.

... Probably after the fear event, though. Tucker is going to be a dog the whole time.

Would you be opposed to CR with a 15-year-old? Girl's canon is pretty much all about chaotic hedonist do-gooders, so I think she'd find him fun. She thinks of government types as all buttoned up, strict, and emotionless and murderous so I think it'd really throw her for a loop to meet someone with authority that's actually a fun person. She's kind of a snarky and wary war orphan who thinks she's a lot older than she is so she pretty much gets along best with adults.

Not at all! She's about the same age as his son, and Damien loves kids. He's not necessarily the most mature or responsible adult lol but he has a protective streak a mile wide (and then some) and as noted above, he'll attach to people easily. Fair warning: he'll probably want to look after her, though not so much in a smothering way, just making sure she's okay, etc.

So yes, I'd love to do things with them!!

Heh, Girl doesn't really know anyone who'd qualify as mature or responsible, so he'd fit in with what she's used to. She's also used to protective people (the cast mates she's got here her basically embodied the 'papa wolf' trope when she was a kid). Fair warning right back: she's basically that stray that you gave a scrap of attention to and never left you alone. Play nice with her and she's gonna be ride or die with him.

Maybe we can have them meet once the event is over (and she's not freaking out)? Or we can do something during the event if he wants to deal with all the drama.

Oh yes, he's definitely a papa wolf type himself, so at least she'll probably be somewhat used to it. XD But he's totally fine with her just latching on if that happens, he'll just wrap her up protectively and never let go.

I'm definitely down to have them meet after the event! I also just posted an open log for shenanigans before or during the event. If none of those prompts really fit, we can always just do a thing after the event! Or I could even do a separate top level for them if you want, whatever you like!
