Like with most of his friends, Josh's feelings on Em are pretty conflicted. In some ways it's a little easier with her because she's so abrasive, though - it's easier to not feel as guilty or as bad. Also, for all that he mostly took out his anger and grief on Chris and Sam and Ash, if anyone's to blame for the initial prank it's probably Emily, and some part of him is aware of that and holds it against her still, even though he knows that what resulted from it wasn't really anybody's fault.

He doesn't hate her, though - Emily's always kind of been entertaining to him, her sharp attitude and unwillingness to play sweet are both irritating and admirable in his eyes. On the other hand, he also knows that means she's a lot less likely to cut him any slack for anything he does. He thinks they could probably be better friends again, if she can forgive him, but since he's still working on the whole feeling actually guilty part of it, that might take awhile.
